High quality selection of grocery items. A bakery, meat and fish department provide the shopper with only the best. However if you have a large family or if you are on a tight budget you will find it difficult to shop at this Whole Foods Market. I spent over $250 and walked away with a few bags of groceries. Many items were twice as expensive as I would normally pay. Not being from the area it is difficult to know if pricing of basic items is much higher in California than in Rhode Island but I doubt it. Not having a store brand which would offer some discount, the selection of items is more what you would find in a Gristedes than a BJs or Walmart. If you are a single person with a good income who is use to eating out five times a week or more, the prices will not alarm you. However if you are on a fixed income, have a family and are in the lower 50% of earners in the US you probably cant afford to shop at Whole Foods. I should also mention, parking is an issue. The lot is smaller than what you would find for a drug store not a super market.

Normal Whole Foods. Better hot bar than the one by the high school. The customers suck here though, very in their own world and seem expectant yet dismissive of the employees trying to help them. Love the employees here though

Unfortunately this store, which once was a clean, healthy place to shop, now has rude employees, blinding LED lighting, poor inventory, and like all Whole Foods now, everything in the hot bar is loaded with sugar, oil, sodium, an unnecessarily long list of ingredients . Why anyone would eat that is anyone would eat that is mind boggling. But since there is rarely anyone there, I don’t think many choose this. Other stores, Mollie Stones, Good Earth, have healthy hot food and salad. Vegetables are steamed and plain or sautéed in garlic and olive oil. The last thing the hot food bar at Whole Foods is - healthy. It’s more like a side of the highway buffet of plague and bad tasting food.

The most poorly managed Whole Foods or other grocery store Ive ever been to. This place is a nightmare. No one shops in there anymore because of the mean, heinous managers (Emma, Patrick in particular). Its a morgue in there-- everyone hates it. Just the Amazon shoppers and I worry for them too. This place needs a massive overhaul. Patrick, Emma, HORRENDOUS MONSTERS! Oh-- and they grind their own beef at the store which is disgusting. I found bone fragments and worse. This place needs to be shut down for nasty behavior and ridiculous woke sustainable wild caught garbage meat.

This store is always clean, organized and welcoming. Ive been to other Whole Foods all over California, and not all are like that. Staff is friendly and welcoming, happy to joke around and offer helpful tips about cooking or serving whatever I am getting. A smile and a helpful attitude goes a long way these days. I will be back for sure.

There is a very aggressive elderly woman who works at Whole Foods on Blithedale. I get the impression that she is very frustrated with her life because she is aggressive, condescending, pushy and she has a bad attitude I am frustrated because I have complained about her 3 times and nothing changes with her. She has white hair that is medium length and I recommend that you stay away if you want to have a nice day. She even had the audacity to grab things from my hands in a violent way. She is a bully. I recommend this Whole Foods store which is down the street 414 Miller Ave, Mill Valley, CA 94941. I am so upset with this woman and her bad attitude that I never want to go back to Whole Foods on Blithedale.

These five star reviews can’t be real. In the last few years, I haven’t heard yet any one resident of Mill Valley who thought that this store was well run by its management. Your luck of professionalism in your customer service, inappropriate amount of familiarity toward the customers, incompetence to keep it organized as a business are all disappointment to the community of Mill Valley.Yesterday, was the last straw that broke the camels back and this is the reason I’m writing this review.First of all, you have to start training your customer service team to start treating your minority customers without prejudice and discrimination. This is Bay Area and year of 2022.My husband and I are senior ethnic minority couple. We were told by your 20 something year old cash registerer to bag our own groceries, the store was nearly empty, as it was Friday night and there were no one behind us. The young woman stood there and watched my husband to bag our groceries. We both struggle with arthritis pain in our joints and would be nice for a young lady to help us instead of telling us to bag it ourselves.We will try to avoid this store if possible from now on. And we believe that it’s about time this company take this location and management to their attention.I’ve read other responses you wrote on the rest of the reviews. They sound automated and impersonal. Please, do not even bother sending one of those automated generic responses.

The hot food bar used to be exceptional high quality food interesting dishes but it seems post-pandemic the food is been absolute garbage!! Quality is bad food is overcooked. For example today there were three different kinds of rice, macaroni and cheese, corn, mashed potatoes some vegetables that look like theyve been there for hours and some kind of brown meat that looked really un appetizing. This is food I would expect to get at the lower end grocery stores not at Whole Foods

Trying to make Amazon return and 1st I had to wait 33 minutes for someone to get off break to help me then she was rude, tagged the wrong item and told me I was wrong and had already returned what was in my hand. Then I was checking to see if all went thru correctly and she snips I have alot other things to do and walked off. Waited another 5 min to tell her the error but she never came back so I just took the unscanned return item and left. Now Ill have to come back again. Rude and insensitive. 7:15 Sunday 1.29.23.

For the second time, I went to pick up a curbside order and waited a half hour in the parking lot. After receiving texts that someone would be out shortly, no one came. When I called to find out where my order was, they couldn’t figure it out, passed me to two people, one who asked me to list everything in the order. She then I passed the phone again to an incredibly rude incompetent who asked me to list everything again.Worst Whole Foods. Very badly managed and poor customer service.

Great location. Great prepared food court. Great for a fast and reasonably healthy lunch/dinner.They still miss the following:The deli, which once had great counter dishes, is now non-existent. There’s only an empty counter in its place. -1 starThe Cafè: The Cafè doesn’t have its own POS so it’s not possible to purchase a bakery product and your coffee beverage together at the café. Therefore one has to pay first at the register, which includes waiting in the grocery line and could potentially be a long wait. Mill Valley has an embarrassment of riches: ..Two Whole Foods stores... two miles from one another...Loved the early Senior Hours .It was very well orchestrated. Good team effort.The Ice Cream Freezer was broken for years. No kidding. And! The Complaining actually worked, Now they have a good selection!Plus: They have a really fine Great Fish counter...and produce is top notch. The line at the popular Meat Counter is often long.

This Whole Foods is FANTASTIC! I made a pit stop and left my purse there by accident. I called and the staff was more than willing to help me. I do not live in the Bay Area. Never bye fish and clams in this store. They’re not fresh. Don’t believe if they say, that it was arrived today, because it is not true. I bought two dozens local oysters, I was told it vas arrived in the morning. In fact oysters were old and dry and pretty dirty inside. i had to throw away half of them, because of the smell. And the rest of them had pretty bad test, very sour.

This Whole Foods is one of the bigger stores. They have a good selection but duh, they are bigger. However, the staff here are not as friendly as most stores. They are some in particular that are just plain rude. I don’t think I’d recommend this store to everyone but certain friends. There also doesn’t seem to be as many details as at other WF.

We have been shopping at Whole Foods since the mid-80s. It has always been the go-to place for fresh health foods. Within the last couple of years their prices for basic staples have been drastically reduced and are competitive with all large chains stores. Based on Bezons track record I think (and hope) Whole Foods will only get better.

Rude unhappy workers. Also, take out food and pizza looks like it has been sitting around forever. One reason to shop here is wanting to eat healthy food. However, healthy food implies fresh food and this food is not fresh! Given the underwhelming take out food, the fact that you can purchase the staples at other supermarkets for less, and the unfriendly, unhelpful staff, probably best to just avoid shopping here and not be aggravated.

We usually come to this location vs. the location in San Rafael; its larger and a bit easier to navigate than that one. Also, bring your pooch and you can keep them in a penned area with a gate that is right outside the store.

This is absolutely the worst whole foods on the planet. From staff to product placement this place is a nightmare. Austin Texas WF stores are all absolutely fantastic. Always festive and fun to shop in. So I am a bit spoiled. Who ever corporate sent to Mill Valley to Manage store needs to spend a month in Austin to get it right. The Miller Ave WF store is very nice and great staff. So there is hope.

I been in the store in the summer of 2011 1 year I left my Mill Valley Marin CA to move to Pembroke Pines Broward FL (Wrost Mistake I ever did) however, I did visted Mill Valley for 3 weeks and did really before they was planing to add a 2nd Whole Foods in the dumpy Aberson (spell?) once used to be there! I am GLADED they did place a 2nd location their and I had to say WOW what a HUGE job did Whole Foods did in that location and let along the major inprovements they did to the community that location did side of that. MORE parking then the one in the Millier Location is! True, Whole foods is abit pricely on few items but then again we are in MARIN CA! I am SO happy for Marin CA! Now they had build one colse to me in Pembroke Pine Broward FL YES Thank god and its not as pricely as Marin CA but Whole Foods is plan AWESOME!
