Windmill Food Hall in Carlsbad

This is a really fun food court with excellent individual gourmet food stalls that serve an amazing variety of delicious dishes.This is NOT your average shopping mall food court. Think instead of gourmet artisan restaurants all gathered in one place.It’s a great place to come to as a group - as everyone can choose the food they want to eat. Or even by yourself - and you can get a little bit of everything.They even have a very nice bar with craft beers on tap.I would even come here as a destination… it is just that fun.Come, hang out, enjoy some really great food!Great for families, young children, even a dog patio outside.Great to older folks and adults.All around a great atmosphere!

It’s a fun food hall with varieties of restaurants. I like the set up that is suitable for big groups. The food is ok from some of the restaurants. I’m def not a fan of secret sauce wok & grill. Orange chicken was very sour and saucy. Boba tea was too sweet and the tapioca was too soft. Lobster lab has decent food. We had lobster roll and tuna melt.

What a fun dog friendly place. The patio was nice and roomy with plenty of big screen TVs for game watching. Lots of variety so there is food for just about anyone. The lobster roll was good but we didnt pay for the double so there was a very large bread to lobster ratio. We just took off half the bread. nice big lobster chunks but just not a lot. The tuna sandwich there was delicious too.

We were in SD/Carlsbad for almost a week before I remembered to stop in. Only purchased donuts (TWO visits) but all the food vendors and plates we saw looked great! Mini-donuts were spectacular. They also had a bar. Some outdoor seating where dogs were welcome ~ but not inside.They had an awesome arcade in the back that took all the small bills and change I had. No change machine, so bring your own.Very kid-friendly, parking was good.

This place is awesome for groups or families that have differences in opinion on what to eat. We went on a Saturday night and all five of us got something different. I went with Pho and it was DELICIOUS. My hubby did Mexican, daughter did Chinese, my oldest did pizza, and the youngest did sushi. We also shared mini donuts for dessert. The atmosphere is fun and inviting and we found a seat for our family of five with no problem. It is busy so be prepared to wait for your food, but its worth it.

Family friendly with a little comfortable corner that features a living room like area and a kid corner on the opposite side with games and entertainment for the little ones as you wait for your oder to either eat in or to go. With many a local beaches and attractions just minutes away in every direction, Windmill Food Hall is the perfect place to fuel up the body with a hearty meal, adult drinks or even dessert for a perfect fun day ahead

Such a chill atmosphere! We went on Tuesday, open mic night. Lots of food choices, everything is priced well, & great customer service.

There are 12 food shops here. Had the pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese. Sandwich was good. Had a delicious lobster roll and clam chowder. Cant wait for next time. So many choices !

Lots of food options - indoor and outdoor seating - alcoholic drinks - clean bathrooms..! The Thai stall was really good, specifically my beef drunken noodles and Thai tea with boba. Good portions and perfectly prepared..!
