Visiting on a work trip, let me say this is one of, if not the best pho broth I’ve ever had. Also this chicken with the ginger sauce, that was the real winner. My only regret is not having enough room in my tummy to try the rice rolls. Rarely see them at pho spots.

Tastes like home food. The chicken is fresh and has a bright yellow color from turmeric ! It’s a very light broth . No msg probably. 5 large pieces of chicken in my soup. Veggie plate w lightly cooked sprouts the way my mom would prefer it!I love the rice rolls! I’ve never been good at making those At home. Without my mothers coaching . So I’m glad to get this Togo! This is so close to home!

Fun fact, this place has the same name as my late uncle.Whole in the wall pho place. Their pho ga was refreshingly light. Their banh cuon is a must when dining here. They make it fresh and can often be sold out quickly. Overall will come back if I’m in the area.

A hole in the wall family run restaurant. Dont expect great service here. They serve Gaì pho here, or chicken as their speciality. They have beef pho and other traditional Vietnamese noodle dishes. The food is good, though we saw the small bowls looked small, we went with the large which had more noodles and broth. None of us could finish the large.

Chicken gizzards had a nice texture. Beef Pho included some thicker cuts that seemed tougher to chew (Maybe brisket). The blanched been sprouts and ginger sauce were a nice touch. The service was excellent.

First time here. Completely blown away by the food.The grilled pork chop on the rice plate was super juicy and tasty. The chicken gizzards used the chicken soup as the base and elevated the flavor a lot. I also enjoyed the rice roll.The price is very reasonable, especially considering the recent inflation (thank you Joe).Will definitely come again.

Not *bad* but not great: I went to Wing Wah because I wanted to get banh cuon (rice rolls) and meatball pho, and this is one of the few pho places that has banh cuon. The banh cuon was good, but the pho was disappointing (at least it is when taken to go). The noodle was not cooked right (in my opinion, it should be pretty elastic and only just done so that it continues cooking in the broth). They did separate the soup and noodles, but the soup was not hot enough. I only waited 10 minutes for my food and then the 10 minute drive home should not have cooled the soup too much. There was also no basil included with my pho veggies, which I found unusual. What was included was lettuce, which didnt work well. (Maybe it works better with pho ga, which I dont usually get. Pho ga does seem to be their specialty since its mentioned in the name.) The beef balls were also dry. (I dont know why though. Ive never had dry beef balls at any other pho place.) I wanted to like this place, and it had good reviews, but I think Ill come back for the pho at least. Id rather get pho from Pho Hoa Lao, Pho Anh Dao, and Pho King instead.

The staff overheard my wife telling me the spicy beef soup was too hot for her taste. The waitress automatically brought out another bowl of soup that was more mildly spiced. They really care that guests enjoy their meal.

Great food. Chicken Pho is a must try, very tasty. We usually ordered the whole chicken and Pho alone to enjoy. The size of Pho is good!Ginger and onion sauce is so so, but this is true to every restaurant that I visited.Appetizer (rice roll) with fish sauce was good too.Its just usually too many customers and had to wait, so I dont recommend this restaurant to you. 😁

Grandpa ApprovalThe chicken served has thin skin and no underlined fat and tender meat at very reasonable price.Very clean table settings, spotless plates, bowls, even sauces bottles.Sprouts served after roots are removed.The steam rice rolls or banh cuon is excellent.The rice sheet is soft but not braking into paste, sign of quality.The fish sauce is little more on the sweet side and light in salt side.One can adjust to own taste.Parking is a challenge but worthy the Parking effort.Food at this price they deserve five stars in terms of value and quality.

The banh cuon is very good. Huge size with soft rice noodle wrapper, good dipping sauce, and lots veggies to go with it. The portion is big. Too bad it does not come with sliced cucumber or bean sprouts. But its still delicious.The chicken rice portion is also generous, plenty of rice and the chicken is soft.The restaurant is a bit out of the way from china town but would come back to to try the chicken noodle soup.

It went from a chicken noodle soup and rice wrap place to serving all other kinds of dishes over the years. It is small and will be busy during the weekends. Dont expect to have your rice wraps to-go quickly as they are made in house and when they run out, it will take at least 30mins for the next order of them to be ready so be aware of that!

It tastes good and the vermicelli is very fresh, but this time it makes me sick. Every roll of rice noodles is served with a cabbage. There is lemon in it, but it is not cleaned. There is still a lemon label on it. I no longer have any interest in this restaurant.

This is a small family owned restaurant with out of this world food. A lot of pho places use only one or two types of broth and seasoning, but my family and I all received pho with distinct savory flavors. My sister ordered in bone chicken soup and the broth was clear and savory, where whereas mine was fish cake and egg and had a thick, tomato based broth, and my mother had a seafood pho that had almost a miso flavor. The egg in my soup was absolutely delicious. The texture was just right, with seasoning that must have been added to the egg before they poached it. I highly recommend. Please note that there is only street parking. Five stars!

MMMMMM... This place has dethroned my favorite Pho Ga in the bay, Turtle Tower. I dont claim to be an expert but this spot has to be good when you see a line out the door of this small restaurant while Pho Ao Sen is right down the street. I ordered #7, the chicken with ho fun(wide noodles). The broth was nice and thick, with generous amounts of chicken. There was also this amazing ginger sauce that made the chicken more enjoyable. It was like a rollercoaster ride, and then it ended, and I was full, but wanted to go again. I will, very soon.

Sad. They must have thought I was a thug. I was in my workout clothes just wanting some pho before i hit the start of the week. Waited and waited. They saw me from their kitchen. I saw them. We exchanged awkward glances from time to time. I was the only customer in there. Never got served until it was too late for me to grab a bite and be on schedule. Better luck next time.

Best Pho Ga in Oakland (Chicken Pho). There are places that do others better - like Pho Ao Sen, Pho King, but their Pho Ga rules supreme. And its my favourite of them all.

Really good place to get chicken pho. The chicken didnt taste gamey which is a huge plus. Recommend going there at 11 AM on the weekends to avoid waiting in line.

This chicken noodle shop in Auckland is delicious and the waiters are very friendly. Every time I take my friends there, they always rave about it!Shredded chicken transparent powder is my favorite, it is fragrant and refreshing, and the portion is full.Their chicken is fresh and sweet, the gizzards are soft and tender, and paired with the classic red and black sauce, it is so satisfying!
