Our family has been coming here for 40 years. Wings has consistently excellent food and a friendly staff.
I was thrilled when we called and they said it was open for take out only. We picked up a lunch that was absolutely delicious . Egg foo young, shrimp, Vegetable chop suey, lightly fried rice, & crispy noodles
Great food always. Cashew chicken my favorite. Wife likes chicken chop suey. Very clean establishment. Dining indoors now available as well as takeout. Great downtown location.
The food was very good needed a little more salt but very good, I ordered the egg foo young, I hadn’t found a place that made it like this in over 30 years, I use to go to a place in riverside that made egg foo young like this….Good place to eat, very content ☺️☺️ I will be going there again.
I moved to Banning, CA recently and was looking for good authentic Chinese food. I found it here and my family enjoyed the food. It had the right seasonings, the food was piping hot and the service was as great. I highly recommend. Vast menu to choose from too. I would give 10 stars if possible. A+

After driving past this place several times I decided to try it out with a friend. The menu is quite large, offering your standard Chinese dishes as well as American diner fare. Thats great, unfortunately the food itself left a lot to be desired. Portions were decent but definitely not in line with the price we paid. I know food costs have gone up, so I dont mind paying more for something good. But $40 for two people for marginal food is a waste. Not the worst meal Ive ever had but certainly not the best. Doubt I will ever go back.
Ive only had the egg foo young here even though ive bee here more times then i can count on my fingers and its omg good. Never had a thing for egg foo young before this and i dont order it anywhere else so idk how authentic it is I just know its super yummy
The food is amazing! The family meal deals are great it’s so much food we almost ran out of table space. The owner is very nice and funny chatting with my family and I as well as all the other diners. Our server Angel was also super friendly! Great food and great service!

Service was excellent Dory is amazing and is such a hard worker!!! The food on the other hand was honestly gross. I had the orange chicken and I have to agree with another post it taste like tang and my steamed rice was luke-warm but the only thing I finished. My husband ordered some sort of pork dish and could only eat the breading cause the meat itself was hard as a rock and everything else was just nasty. Presentation of the food though was amazing. Now, we did order the sweet and sour wontons and loved them but wish there was more in it. This was our first visit and we did put a rush on our order due to us having to be somewhere at a certain time but still from both of us having experience working in restaurants this was bad. I hate leaving negative reviews. Im sorry.... 2 stars for y all and That is because of Dory. But we pretty much wasted 26 dollars on food we couldnt eat. I had such a belly ache from the 3 orange chicken pieces I forced down. We will not be coming back to this restaurant is rather have Panda Express and have a belly ache cause I ate too much then have a belly ache for hours on food I forced down cause the cooks were watching us.
Having visited US for a while we were suggested by a local friend to try this place out as I was nostalgic to Chinese food. This is a family run business. The waiters here are nice and welcoming. Some of them can even chat with us in Cantonese/Mandarin, making me feel like being in home.Food-wise, Shrimp in Lobster sauce, Hawaiian Beef, and Egg Foo Young are the most memorable ones. The Lobster sauce, with Douchi, is the perfect companion with a bowl of white rice. The meat in Hawaiian Beef is tender, smooth, with good balance of sourness and sweetness. For Egg Foo Young, the creamy gravy matches nicely with the crispy and fresh bean sprouts within the omelette.Id definitely recommend this place and visit again!
Wings has been our family restaurant since i was young. We used to come every Saturday with my grama after our sports games. Now i bring my boys every Friday for clam chowder, ITS THE BEST! We even come Saturdays too, after the kids games. It is usually my youngest first choice. The food is great. Orange chicken is awesome and there is NOTHING like their gravy fries!
Excellent food. This restaurant reminds me of the old style Chinese restaurants in Los Angeles. The service is excellent and the dished are not the typical fast food.
Wings is wonderful! Everything is made fresh. My favorites are pretty much any of the Chinese food & their chicken fried steak. The owner & his family are so nice & friendly. Our favorite waitress is Midori.

My family and I have been eating there for years. Absolutely wonderful, fresh Chinese food! The American food is good too but their Chinese really outshines it. We have several places in our surrounding area that have Chinese food and yet none of them can hold a candle to Wings Garden Cafe.
Been coming here since 2002. Everytime I visit my sister in Yucca Valley this is a must. Walnut $hrimp is excellent, and the Chicken Fried Steak is better than anything I ever had in Texas. Service is wonderful and Lily, her Dad and Midori are great.
Honestly, not the best or worst Chinese/Mandarin whatever you want to call it, but also not the worst. If you live in the area and have never been out to places that actually have good Chinese, you will think this place is good or decent. Most of their Family or Dinner specials come with Egg Foo Young, not very good at all and very plain weird looking, Easy way to cheat and add filler food to an order. The orange chicken tastes just like Orange Juice or Tang powder was added. Drinks are extremely over priced and you get 1 Re-Fill, seriously... Thats about all I have to say.
Server was nice. Portions are on the skimpy side. Very small. Normally I cant finish a meal when ordering Chinese. This place I left hungry. Now Im sitting at IHOP getting a stack to fill up on. Dont reccomend for the hungry.

I came in on Monday 2/29/2018 I got the lunch special the. F4 but had to pay to have noodles in my chow main the noodles where really good and hot not much meat in it and the egg roll was horrible the worst I have ever had the fried rice was ok service was good but I dont think Ill be back

This place doesnt accept valid California ids, I ordered a sake and showed them my Id witch they denied me because I dont have my license only my regular Id witch is printed vertical not horizontal because of it being printed vertical it was not accepted even the my birthday is 98 and I turned 21 last December and my Id doenst expire for another year over all the food was mediocre and waitress was ok I am greatly frustrated that even tho Im 21 I was refused my beverage

I was fortunate to know Wing and Ming, and even went to high school with Harvey, their son. I love them all, and Harveys younger sister too! This family is as awesome as their food! Consistent quality, home-like atmosphere, and love from the owners who take such pride in their business....so we can benefit and taste a bit of heaven with every dish. They seem to be the ONLY Chinese restaurant around the area to make chow mein and lo mein in the traditional way. I will be a faithful customer for life. Such a diamond in the rough ....

2022-03-05 22:28:51**First and second time here** I have driven by several times and finally stopped. ***This is one of the last places you will find in the area that serves classic, fresh, & made to order American/Chinese cuisine*** Last night I got chicken chop suey and it was fantastic! Not familiar? Its bean sprouts, onions, bok choy cabbage, water chestnuts etc. And your choice of meat (Same as chow mein but without noodles). Havent had that fresh and simple flavor in over 25 years! And there was PLENTY of chicken! It came with delicious a side of steamed rice and wasnt expensive ($12.88) and leftovers! Today I got Chicken fried steak. It is house made like all of the menu and Ive never had a better texture than Wings version (they use real steak not ground beef). **The serving was large and plenty of gravy** flavor was good although I added a touch of salt to the gravy. The corn and mashed potatoes were good as well as the egg drop soup (the incuded side items). I will absolutely return again to work my way down there huge menu!!! 😋👍💯🙏 Also met the owner (Wing) had a nice conversation about Chinese/American dining and the changes hes experienced in over 36 years of his business. The hostess was friendly and offered a pleasent conversation herself on both of my visits even remembering my name! 😁 explained the menu well and her suggestions were welcomed. 🙂

2023-02-19 06:53:40Ordered take out for the first time here. Amazing food! My personal favorite was the cream cheese wontons! Friendly staff and cooks. They have tons of “regulars” who are treated like family. Next time we’ll bring our friends and will dine in! Love this place!
