Jerk Chicken Chow Mein, jerk chicken fried rice made with brown rice, barely, flaxseed, and quinoa. FIRE!!!! So damn good!!! The shopping center gets crowded so parking can be tricky. Nothing fancy here just 100% flavor.
It was my first time there and I started with the vegetable fried rice and vegetable spring rolls...Yummy! Next time I plan to try the smoked salmon fried rice. 😉
I ordered the chicken fried rice. I asked for no onions. Didnt know they also dont have peas or carrots in the rice. So, I basically paid $17 for rice and chicken. Overpriced for sure. I also ordered the Thai iced tea, it was good and refreshing.
My cousin raved about their salmon fried rice and I must say it was very good. But I was dissapointed that they didnt have Lo Mein. Instead I tried the veggie Chow Mein. Veggies were fresh & crisp but I needed just a little more flavor for my taste. Not a Chow Mein fan but wanted noodles. Overall great lunch on my first day in town. Will try something else next time atound.

Wok on the Wild Side is THE best!!! I’ve been going for a year or two now, and I legitimately crave it weekly. The food is superb, the portions are awesome, and the owners could not be more wonderful!! If you haven’t tried it, you must! Some of my favorites: hot and sour soup (YUM!), shrimp egg rolls (perfectly crispy and delicious), jerk chicken fried rice (A must get, unlike anything I’ve ever tried before!), also love their orange chicken, Mongolian beef, wonton soup, and garlic broccoli. It will not disappoint! Whenever my family is in town to visit, they always ask for it to be our first stop! Check them out, the food and the wonderful people will have you returning in no time!
The best thing about this place to me other than the freshest of the food, is how tasty each dish is. They have more types of fried rice than any other place I have eaten. I love the friendly customer service, they seem to be happy to see you.They have great veggie option as well as vegan options.I have ordered the crab fried rice service times, my hubby loves the salmon fried rice as well as their special combo rice.Located in an extremely busy shopping center, parking may be a Challenge during certain times of the day and weekends.There are many popular merchants in this center including a very busy Starbucks.They accept all major credit cards and may be seen from the street. There is limited seating on the inside, no setting on the outside. Take out is quick.

Food is good but the lady can be very rude, rush people while ordering over the phone. She told me to come in instead because she didnt have enough patience to take my order due to us trying to figure out how the specials lunch are prepared. Meade it seem and feel like i was bothering her, not good customer service at all.
A small family-run restaurant, this couple are the most welcoming and open owners Ive ever encountered. Chicken curry had a delicious subtle flavor. Bacon fried rice--yes, bacon--was great. Seasonal vegetables amazing--kale, carrots, cabbage, collards, swiss chard, garlic-- all fresh and just wonderful. Portions are large so we ordered small sizes. I found this restaurant on Yelp, and some reviewers said its in a bad area. Its not. Maybe there are some routes that go through bad areas, but the restaurant is in a strip mall with a Starbucks, there are a number of local well-kept businesses and supermarkets around.
My daughters and I got food poisoning from two different chicken entrees 3 days ago I stopped by got chicken curry rolls and chicken fried rice, worst decision Ive ever made was to try out this place .
This place is great when you want to eat healthy and on the run I love the the curry chicken noodle soup and if you like spicy try the chicken with green dragon sauce it is soooo good and they have lots of different rice dishes like sausage link rice, I have not tried this one However the BBq chicken rice with fried eggs sounds yummy as well they have so many good fleshly made dishes give the a try when you are in Inglewood! The restaurant is clean and you can sit down and eat there as well the wife will take your order and the husband is the chef they are very nice it a busy place.
My coworker got me into this place three years ago, made to order restaurant. This time we made sure to buy their Sriracha sauce. You can dine in till 830pm. Order over the phone. Generous serving size, Great service.
The owner is incredibly rude, and the food is not that tasty. Ordered the House Special Chow Mein (shrimp, chicken, beef). There were 3 shrimp, 3 pieces of beef, and 2 small strips of chicken. the noodles were gooey, spaghetti like things. Not worth it, especially along with his bad attitude!
On my way home, back to San Diego, I Googled, best Chinese food near me, and heres what came up. So I decided to take a Wok On the Wild Side & I am thrilled to have taken that stroll! Turns out the food was super fresh and piping hot! The veggies were perfect and the meats were tender & juicy. Thanks for a great mid-day meal. Ill be back! Ill take pix next time. I was too hungry today, to pause for the cause. :)
Always great service and the food is fresh. I got hooked on the crab fried rice with shrimp 🙌😋🙌 and have not once been disappointed over the years I have been coming. It does get busy around lunch so I recommend calling in to place your order.
Seems as if all they make right is the American stuff like fried rices. My husband ordered Kung Pao and it wasnt good it just had onions bell peppers peanuts and no flavor.. Also they charge taxes on EBT purchases which they arent supposed to do and the cashier knows it too . People shouldnt have to add up their own order for a correction. I guess Im the only one that notices the greed🤷🏽♀️

I got the Thai Fried rice with shrimp no imitation crab but extra shrimp. Very good flavor, just be careful not to eat any shrimp with the poop still in it. The smoked salmon fried rice is very good also.
At 2:30 pm on a Monday, still waiting and never opened. Sign says opens at 11am. Its for the best, last time I went there her machine seemed to not work correctly, and she said it was my card, then I proceeded to eat somewhere else using my card with no problem. She never ever smiles back, acts very cold and mean, with zero manners, and seems to hate it when I bring my kids there to eat, acting like they are too much commotion for her customers. Being very demeaning about it. The only reason why we went there is because they take ebt food stamps. She also didnt give me my tea I waited for my whole meal, then said she forgot when asked, and put some in a to go cup, because I was finished eating by then.
Food is terrible and the service is bad. We came by 7:45 and they said they r closing and we have to take away the food. The cashier is rude. We ordered orange chicken from their menu and they laughed at us why you Chinese people order this. This is a Chinese restaurant. We just ordered Chinese food appearing in their menu, and they started to judge our order. Are they racists? They also speak Chinese. Dont understand why they discriminate their own people.
A friend brought me here and the food was very good. They actually have healthier choices and use better ingredients than most other Chinese restaurants. It is a family-owned-and-operated restaurant and they get to know their customers such as my friend who is a frequent visit her there.

Horrible experience. Owner lady is rude and disrespectful. I moved back to Inglewood and couldnt wait to get here, because what my family had tried was tasty. Went there this week for food and it is now extremely over priced and quality lacking considerably. My chow mein and Thai rice was DRY, wontons rubbery and old!!! I went back for more soup for my Nana today and expressed how disappointed I was with the rest of the food the other day, especially in relation to the cost and the owner lady got rude, defensive and disrespectful!!! Go figure...
It’s hard finding a good food place that takes ebt but I’m finally here and the food was delicious ! I mean I been here before years ago but it seems like it has gotten better, the lady is still sweet with a sense of humor and the place was packed I mean I recommend calling in but if you don’t just be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes but you won’t be disappointed
On impulse i rushed over at closing time. I was nearly too late but the owner was very nice and let me come in to make a to-go order. I got the house special chow mein and it is incredible, and plenty of food, too. Im very glad to know about this place.
I did a call in order in the uber coming from hospital and the service n food was great. Got my uber driver lunch of chowmein n got myself shrimp fried rice w/xtra shrimp, great food! The owners are fabulous people.

That the lunch menu was not as a difference to a regular sized dish only off by a dollar and $0.25. There is no restroom the location was a little hard to find even with Google Map and MapQuest giving us two different directions. In the end I did not order anything from here there was a none patient cashier. An a price was a lot for 4 different dishes came out to $120.
Pricey but good. They had some creative dishes like Jerk Chicken Fried Rice. They got our take-out order wrong, hence the 4 out of 5. The food was tasty.

OMG! Ive lived all over the world, and consider myself a foodie. I rarely write reviews, but after eating here I felt the people need to know. Wok on the wildside is a small friendly chinese restaurant with amazing food. At first glance the menu seems very traditional but if theres a few dishes that stray, which were pointed out to me by Li the owner. Li makes a Green hot sauce Which she has dubbedGreen Dragon which tastes good on everything. I find myself craving it. I initially had it over Shrimp, but now I request a side of it for anything I eat there. Im no vegetarian by any means but the have a short grain brown fried vegetable rice thats outta this world. Thank you Li, and Wok on the wildside for satisfying my stomach weekly!

Expensive for a lunch special and nothing SPECIAL included - meaning no wonton, egg role or anything else. I ordered Broc. Beef which I judge all Chinese restaurants by - No choices just LOTS OF WHITE RICE and I mean LOTS - broccoli was very fresh and crisp - very little beef and a teaspoon of SAUCE - I mean it is the SAUCE that makes it - what else is all that rice for??? Not going back but it was VERY CLEAN and it has a cool name.
The food is made to order.....which may take a bit longer to get your food, but the wait is definitely worth it! Food is delicious and authentic. Good portions.....Ill be back!

Lastime i was here food was salty, but they have improved. I got the broccoli chicken....yummy, sooooo fresh and crunchy and healthy and flavorful.
They cook to order only. No steam tables. They also use mixed grains with seasonal greens tossed making a special experience in Chinese cuisine.
Prices varyIf youre eating for one it can be quite expensive. Better to buy for2. I recommend the BBQ chicken fried rice.

We stopped by right as they were closing and they made sure to be welcoming and still prepare our order with love.I ordered the thai fried rice and the smoked salmon fried rice. The greeting wasnt friendly however when I returned to pickup the food the cashiers greeting was much friendlier.The food taste good however its a lot more than I wanted. The smoked Salmon fried rice was good but very little Salmon and if that was their plan, then the rice is overpriced. The egg flower drop soup is good but double what I could possibly consume in one meal. The cost if for two perfect however for one overpriced $29.

I then inspected the food and the chicken was past due it stank very bad. I threw up and got food poisoning here so please be careful especially if you take your kids here.

2023-04-21 01:43:20I couldn’t believe that they have went up on prices again instead of making different portions sizes large or small medium or something just went up from 15 a plate to twenty a plate quality has gone down now it’s way too much there to eat even if you enjoy it! There’s no doubt now you need to split the plate with a friend or not order unless you plan on it being for two meals lately my plates have been having too much soy sauce also just disappointed with them now hate to say but I think this end our relationship
