wonderful in Millbrae

The restaurant is quaint. Outside seating available. Staff is attentive and friendly. Food is good. Normally would take off 2 stars for mandatory service charges, city fees or taxes, restaurant charges etc... however only taking off 1 star as the included service charge is in lieu of tip (ie no need to tip). And service level is deserving of that or more anyway.

Small restaurant with very friendly staff. No wait. You can seat yourself. Went for an early dinner. They do have a variety of vegetarian & vegan options which was nice. 18% gratuity automatically added into the bill so you don’t need to tip. Food came out fast and it was plentiful. If you’re staying close to the airport, it’s about a 20 min walk and definitely worth it.

One of my favorite restaurants in Millbrae. We got the iron skillet with beef and onions and Godfather noodles. Delicious! This is a Hunanese restaurant with a lot of smoked meat options. Looking forward to trying their smoked options the next time we visit!

Service was fast but could have been better. There seemed to be only 1 or 2 waiters on a weekend lunch service, so she did not take time to provide any info on menu or items we ordered. She seemed to be in a rush all the time.Food was okay and the rating is for food. Kung Pao chicken was too sweet, fried rice was dull and boiled fish was okay. I had better version of these dishes at other restaurants. Note that boiled fish portion size was for 4 people. For 2 people’s order, the waitress could have informed us.

Service was fast and friendly. Food came out quickly and was tasty! The eggplant in garlic sauce was our favorite along with the chicken corn soup.

Walking in this place I expected pretty good Chinese food. Please don’t get fooled by there food reviews. This place is over priced, not real Chinese food and service is a horrible . Please save your money and don’t get ripped off for such a over hyped spot that doesn’t even serve average food.

If you have at least 4 people, Get the giant fish dish! Super home style kind of cooking.Rice needs to be ordered separately…Why does rice have to be so pricey?

First time dine in. Friendly service. Thin noodle texture is great in the beef noodle soup, but the beef cubes were to hard for our tastes.

Service was very fast. The food was slightly different than expected and a bit pricey. The lamb and cilantro was the best item that I had. Green onion pancake was way thicker than expected and degraded to harder to chew when it cooled down. Sauce that came with it was served cold which not sure was intended.

We were initially deterred from this place from its high prices, but saw photos of the onion pancake and decided to try it at least once. The photos of the food really impressed us. We came to dine in before shelter in place started. It was empty when we came in so we were seated immediately. Inside is really nice and clean. They also have tons of pork hanging in the kitchen.The waiter was really nice and was helpful as this was our first time here. We ordered the onion pancake, eggplant and string bean, lamb and onion, and chili chicken. The waiter actually recommended we try something else other than the chili chicken, but the photos looked good so we still got it. (I thought this was kinda weird and the other waitress even laughed that he said something like that.) The food came out pretty fast and they honestly lived up to the expectations. The chicken was really dry though, as the waiter said. It tasted good with the sauce the onion pancake came with though! We were thoroughly impressed with the food!Even though the price is a bit high, the quality of food is really high, and the decor is really nice as well. The first time we ate, the waiter noticed we were impressed with the hanging pork and actually gave us some to try to go. Weve ordered to go once while shelter in place. I would highly recommend going here and supporting a local business!
