The service is very friendly when dining in, the food is mouth watering (we’ve tried beef, chicken, and pork dishes— all are great), and the portion sizes are generous. Our go-to spot for Chinese cuisine.

My wife and I are from Virginia. We enjoyed this place. Wish we could have stayed longer but we were in a hurry to watch a concert at chase center. We ordered the chicken and fish fried rice along with the west lake beef soup. We are definitely coming back.

I saw this place on yelp and noticed its high reviews. I ordered for pick up and immediately noticed how small it was, truly a classic hole in the wall. They were not offering indoor/outdoor dining, but I noticed so many to go orders when I went to pick it up. Since my first order, Ive tried a variety of their things and theyve all been amazing. I would highly recommend the honey walnut shrimp and their salt pepper pork chop.Note: they are cash only!

I was looking for local spots that do catering or large orders and found Wong’s Cafe. Their options were good and pricing is fair so I decided to give them a try. I placed a pick up order for the beef chow fun and salt pepper chicken. The food was good and I would highly recommend. The workers are friendly and it’s a nice hole in the wall spot for a quick meal!

11-14-21:Ordered chow fun, Singapore noodles and salt and pepper calamari to go.The chow fun was very tasty.... As was the Singapore noodles. However, the calamari did not meet expectations. Not sure why they breaded and deep fried the calamari like that.Overall, would definitely come back again for more noodles!

This can easily be shared with 4 people. The Hot & Sour soup isnt quite the traditional style, it has a tomato base, but the flavors and spice is on point+ Tomato + Beef Rice....SOOOOO GOOOOD.+ Get their Hong Kong Style Noodles!! Eating at Wongs Cafe feels like dining in someones basement. The linoleum floor sealant has peeled away leaving patches of the concrete below visible. The dining room is decorated with dusty plants and lace doilies drapes. It reminded me of the small restaurants I visited in Hong Kongs Sham Shui Po district with the foldable chairs without a back. Wongs Cafe is a couple of notches above those places. Tonight I had their tomato beef pan fried crispy noodles $11.75. This dish was delicious. The beef was tenderized without any chewy bits. The crispy pan fried noodles had enough wok hay. The gravy had a wonderful classic tomato taste with a zing from the green bell peppers and onion slices. Service was friendly and quick. Great job staff at Wongs Cafe.

Would like to say that Wongs Cafe is literally the definition of a hidden Gem. Their menu is very extensive and the food is absolutely delicious!!!! The staff there has the upmost respect and courtesy for their customers and greets you like youre family no matter if your a first timer or a regular. Id highly recommend this place to anyone who is seeking authentic Chinese cuisine and it cant be beaten. Great service all around !!!

I went with my husband who liked the dive atmosphere, but I didnt think so and it was freezing inside, despite the heater they provided. Some of the food we ordered wasnt great, like the salt pepper chicken, yuck. I wont be back.

Finally found a delicious spot for Chinese food! We got the half plates special. Chow mein with beef and broccoli which was pretty good. The best part of our order was the fried rice with chicken. Omg it was delicious. We got a side plate of garlic bok choy which I highly recommend. The staff were friendly and we were happy to eat in their restaurant. Homely feel and not fancy. Will definitely return to eat again.

Service: 5/5I did not dine in so I cant speak about that. However, when I called to place an order, the gentleman asked me if I knew where they were located. I thought it was an odd question until I realized he mustve seen my area code and wanted to make sure I had called the right place. I thought it was funny and kind of him. Next, talk about speed. They had my order ready in exactly 20 minutes. Maybe even sooner. They also packed my food well. They couldve crammed everything into one bag but they didnt. They split my order between two bags instead so I could carry it out easily.Food: 4/5The food was pretty good. I ordered the Beef Chow Fun, Salt & Pepper Pork rice plate, and Hot & Sour Soup. The chow fun had nice wok hei flavor and I liked the bean sprout to noodle ratio. Some might not like all the bean sprouts but I like my veggies and it gives the dish some texture. The pork rice plate was good but a little salty for me. The soup was good but different. Its not the traditional hot and sour soup. Theres tomatoes and carrots in it but it tastes good still. And there is properly sour and spicy! Sometimes restaurants give you a watered down version. Not this restaurant! And to top it all off, the price is good at this place too. All their rice plates are a steal deal. If youre a hungry college student, a full plate of rice and lots of meat will cost about $10. Not bad in my opinion.Parking: 2/5This is the only bad part. Parking is terrible in this area. Especially at night. If youre just picking up, you can park right in front for a few minutes. But if you plan to dine in, be prepared to circle the blocks a few or 10 times. Also, for anyone not local, if you plan to pull into someones driveway to turn around, be careful and pull in veeerry slow. The drive ways arent great here and there are a lot of hills. You may scrap your front bumper and your cars underside if you go too fast.Overall, definitely recomend! Affordable and good food!

Very good with their costumer. Very thoughtful. And always eager to please. Over whole It is one of the best Chinese food. Too bad they don’t deliver. And cash only.

Im picky so in the past I preferred the large franchise type establishments when it comes to chinese food.but wongs cafe is different!! I love the family that operates the cafe. Theyre just so very nice, caring and more importantly Clean! I can expect my food will be fresh and fast too! So when the family requests chinese food - its wongs cafe i call!

Definitely (My) New ‘Take-OUT’ BIG TIME…!I ordered 5 different items and “EVERY item was in my opinion (effin) AWESOME….!I asked the gentleman taking my order about the Scramble Egg & Beef and said I’d like it over white rice, he then asked me “witch way, slightly scrambled or “traditional” / gravy style”.? I didn’t know there was a “traditional gray style” and was craving the scrabble but said sure why not?As soon as I tired it (I WILL ALWAYS order my scrabble egg & beef traditional…! Went there for an afternoon lunch with my girlfriend. The food was amazing! The service from the staff was awesome! Staff was always checking on tea levels. I will definitely be coming back. The only thing that did bother me a little bit was that there was very few light from outside. I wish there were more windows. But overall great place to eat and sit down with family!

If you are looking for a greasy spoon Chinese dive, this is it. Prices are very good. Service is friendly and efficient. Food is yummy. A lot of people get their food to go. The place is clean, but obviously a low rent joint. What they dont pay in rent, they save on your bill!

A short walk from my hostel i found this great Chinese take out the man serving was very friendly there was a large seating area inside for eating in. I returned here a couple of times during my stay and would recommend to anyone in the area. EVerything is nice and clean.

A simple and yummy cash only basement cafe. Its a small neighborhood place with a large menu.They use fresh ingredients and nothing takes longer than 15 minutes. The veggies are always bright and colorful. Prices are very reasonable. The Wongs wonton soup is the best Ive ever had!Its a meal in itself. Very friendly folks.
