My family has been going to Wongs for over thirty years and they have been consistently serving really good Chinese food. Our favorites are spicy eggplant beef and anything salt and pepper fried like pork chops, shrimp or fish. See pictures for their big portion size.

Great chinese food, it may look small outside, inside its a nice atmosphere with friendly staff waiting to serve you also your now able to walk in to sit an dine too. First time coming here. It’s a little hole-in-the-wall place but a gem! Worker was super nice and the place is very clean. The food was really good, got sesameChicken and pork fried rice. Also got the cream cheese wontons. Husband got sweet and sour pork, chow mein and egg roll. Was very happy with how tasty everything was. Will definitely come back, highly recommend!

My family loves Wong Cantons food!! Delicious, nice portion sizes, and best prices. Staff are great as well. If I lived in this area, Id come here more often (Yes, we go out of our way when we want Chinese food), because Wong Canton is the best weve eaten in the Sacramento area.

The food was very tasty and huge portion sizes, we have enough lunch for probably the next three days! The man at the front was also very nice! I wish this place much blessings and success. Looks can be deceiving had it not been for a friend of mine to tell me about the food that they were serving Ill probably would have never went in there its a little hole in the wall you will miss it if your not careful. The food to me was really good it was so many people coming in and out of there picking up and taking out food it wasnt even funny wasnt a lot of people sitting down but it was a lot of people picking up that says a lot. Ive been coming here for over 20 years. Food is always hot and plentiful. When u eat in the service is great. The amount of food given is always way beyond ample. Family owned restaurant with very reasonable prices. When ordering out, you wont be disappointed. The to go boxes will be overly stuffed, hot and ready. Definitely stop by and try. Its easy on the wallet and taste great.

Ordered on line for pick up, and when I got there, they didnt seem to know about my order. They did get i put together very quickly though. The portions were very generous for the price. I think their fryer oil was getting a little old, but other than that, it was very good. The restaurant is a small place, but looked like an ok place to eat. It was fairly late on a Sunday when I arrived for my pick up, so I only saw two customers as they were leaving. Another person showed up for pick up that had called in their order, and it was ready and waiting for them. I would give them 5 stars if it werent for the older fryer oil and not having my order finished when I arrived. There was at least 1/2 hour to prepare it before I arrived. Overall, very good though.

Handling raw pork at the table then passing out plates without gloves or washing hands... Great way to get people sick.Cheese wontons with next to 0 cheese. Left before getting entrees was so disappointed with quality and cross contamination.Waited 15 minutes to get any help at the table just to leave due to poor quality in general, a sad time for all.

I give this place 5 starts, but only for their salt and pepper fish. I ate here once before sometime ago and ordered a combo sweet and sour chicken and it was not good at all!! My wife and I wanted Chinese food one Saturday night and this happened to be the latest one open. We came and it was great service, very helpful and good size plate for a great price. Even when we come in and get a to go order we are not waiting more than 10-15 minutes. The food is awesome as well. We will keep coming back. We did take out, and they had everything ready super fast. Large portions, the sweet and sour soup was very good (usually don’t like that kind of soup), and the wonton soup was not overly salty (unlike other local places), and the potstickers were the best I’ve had. Similar to the Davis dumpling house that burned down last summer. Make sure to get two sauces for the dumplings, you’ll definitely go through it. Staff were very sweet and kind, highly recommend.

Foods good, but depending on how the cook is feeling that day and time, sometimes its seasoned and cooked well, other times its like they brought in the back up cook. The people are friendly and helpful, have to be patient to understand slight language barrier, but, otherwise still take my chances once in a while and get their food because they do give good portions. 😋

The service is very fast, and the portions large. The combination fried rice is loaded with meats, and perfectly cooked. The sesame chicken is crunchy but moist; the only caveat being that the sauce is overpowering. It is almost sweet and sour. I expect that sweet and sour dishes and the lemon chicken are probably well executed.

This place has great food. Its a total hole in the wall. Owned and operated by a Chinese family, which is unexpected for this area of Sacramento. The food portions were large, taste was decent, prices were good. So overall, win-win. Perhaps some dishes were over salted. We had Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Beef Chow Fun (with gravy), Pot Stickers, Hot and Sour soup, Won Ton soup and sweet and sour pork. Wongs is by far my favorite place to sit down and eat with my family. Were all about the portions. We always order the entrees with no vegetables. The garlic chicken, war wonton soup and beef and broccoli are my favorite dishes. I always order iced tea in hot months and hot tea in cold months... Unfortunately, I compare all Chinese Food to Hunan Garden (used to be on Elverta) and Sunsun (used to be on Madison). So Im always hoping for a similar delishious product. Chow Mein was bland.
