Usually I liked the food they serve at Wongs Wok in Reseda, but I was so disappointed this time. I ordered the wonton soup and I have to throw them away because they were sooo salty and the wonton looks old.I will never ever again order that soup or even recommend it to my friends.Worse thing, I called to complain about it and they just hang up on me.What kind of business ethics is that???

First time customer and I will be returning.Clean and welcoming atmosphere. Staff/ counter person (s) are very friendly, patient and informative. I got the teriyaki chicken/orange chicken 2meat combo w/fried rice (Im just not really a noodle kinda person). Portions are good sized! The meat was tender, moist and delicious. In my opinion, both meats could have used a lil more flavor (teriyaki/orange) but I would not let that stop me from coming back or recommending Wongs Wok to others. Next time lIl just ask for extra sauce. I decided to round up from 4 1/2 stars to 5 stars because lm sure its a lot easier to add more flavor to the food than it is to find a crew that makes customers feel as welcome and appreciated as I felt today. Great place, they just need to kick the flavor up a notch.

Great food. Fast service and huge portions. The ladies that work there are super friendly and go out of their way to help you. Would be 5 stars except for the fact that they are often out of your favorites. Thats not really their fault, they get a little swamped at peak ours. 3pm to 6pm you can find a line out the door. It moves fast though. The older gentlemen that work there kinda feel like they dont want to be there and arent as friendly.The restaurant is kept clean but there is limited space so its mainly a take out spot. They do catering size orders at great prices. Order ahead for anything thats not on the line. Including dumplings or some soups. The wonton soup is amazing.

Ok this is your usual hot plate Chinese with your A, B & C combo you know the deal… one item, two item.. etc.. yet there is something special about this spot. Definitely not your typical Panda Express type and because of that Im sure theyre not subject to standards that chain restaurants might have to be... for example, good service, free small taste trials, ensuring overall customer satisfaction, explaining the dishes served, and so on. First time eating here and Im not a fan at all. Place looks good and was busy during my visit so Im sure some people do find it tasting. Overall customer service needs work; staff is not friendly and the food, to my taste, wasnt really that good. Giving two stars because it seemed busy and normally that is a sign of a good spot- just not for me.

I was looking for a Chinese food takeout that was near me so I decided to go to this location out of 5 Chinese takeout that was in my area. I read the reviews before going particularly the ones that referenced large portions. Once I arrived there, I noticed the prices were very high for a 2 item combo which was $8.99 which is what I purchased. The menu price for a 3 item was $10.99! I was a little disappointed that the portions I received were small even the noodles and the rice. For almost $10 which included tax I felt it should have been more food. When I arrived home with my 2 item combo, the rice had no flavor, the noodles were very oily and the orange chicken I counted only 5 pieces! The other item-spicy chicken-had chunks of onion and very little chicken! And the food didnt taste all that good! Very disappointed. I should have went to Panda Express! At least I know Im getting small portions and the food has flavor First and last time at this place.

Ive had Chinese food from a lot of little mom and pop style restaurants. Ive got to be honest with you this is probably the best Chinese food Ive had in a while. And I mean in a long while. Try the orange chicken and especially try the pan fried dumplings. Im usually a Panda Express kind of guy. But this place blows Panda Express out of the water. If I want to be realistic it blows out every single fast food Chinese restaurant Ive ever eaten at. And Ive tried a lot of different places out. Its got a nice little indoor seating area if you want to eat your food there. The tables are nice and clean, the food is great, all in all I give this restaurant five stars. It definitely earned it.

Ive been coming to this plaza for many years now and didnt realize that there was a Chinese food restaurant there as I always shop at Albertsons grocery store, and a beauty supply store prior to them moving to Food for Lesss plaza. Recently at work, a co-worker buddy of mines brought food to work from this restaurant and being that Chinese and seafood are my two favs, when she told me that this was where she purchased the food from, I was totally oblivious as all this time, I overlooked it. Thus, subsequent to my buddy at work advising that this is the place she bought food from, I recently came here (i.e., twice to be exact) and got the salt and pepper chicken wings, teriyaki chicken, and salt and pepper shrimp with rice and noodles and I must say its seasoned to perfection! Lastly, the staff are friendly which is another been plus. Hence, I now come here and consider myself a regular.

I can say I come here from time to time and the taste of the food has changed, could be that the cooks are different people now. And I don’t know who the owner is but the employees are rude. We asked if we can sit and they said no but I guess a usual customer asked right after us if he can sit and they said yes. RIGHT IN FRONT OF US. And they rush you to order your food. Quite polite if you dont mistreat them.Do beware though, youll see an older lady at the register who frequently goes back in forth from the kitchen and back charging you more than the normal price of a 4 piece plate(being $8.50) going up to 9 to even 11 dollars.Do call her out on her mistake by pointing at the billboard behind her displaying the prices.Shell either lie saying theyre outdated or nervously accept the mistake and charge you the original price.Deny service if she continues to lie to which she has to discard the food having her lose more profit.The food is decent I wont say its the most flavorful but definitely be CAUTIOUS as they reuse meat that hasnt sold that day(you can taste it being watered down implying its frozen overnight and used days after) I as well as a few family members/ friends have regularly experienced some levels of food poisonings (diarrhea, nausea, mild headaches, throw ups) this is natural accurance if food is re heated and used multiple times.They give a big portion of food which is nice compared to many other chinese places. AlthoughFood is very very greasy as youll find the noodles practically soaked in grease even finding it nauseating with the rice.And to finalize; a rule of thumb. Please check your bag before leaving the restaurant as they will often not provide soy sauce / chili cups. Or even forks and napkins to save money.To conclude the food is below average, the portions are large which I love, and to watch out for nasty restaurant tactics to save money by, serving old food, purposely raising prices, skimping out on natural necessities to eat the product etc.. I give this place a 4/10 on my own personal scale, hope this helps.

I ordered the food which is supposed to be 6.99. They charge me 9.99. No explanation. I noticed the higher price after I paid them. The lady went away from the counter and she ignored me completely. She refused to talked to me, like i didnt exist. After you pay them they become completely stranger to you. Food was not very fresh. The cook brings fresh food from the kitchen, I requested her to give me fresh one but she didnt listen.

There is one lady in particular who is always ya ya ya, she also seems cranky all the time. Would it kill you to put 3 or 4 soy sauce, meal for 4, you give 1. Do the math! No fortune cookie? Well havent been here In a while nothing has changed, they are still cheap with soy sauce, and still no fortune cookie. This they were also cheap with the plastic ware 1 fork for 2 meals. Swift no-nonsense style customer service, and yet friendly in response. The chow mein is cooked in a way that makes it incredibly tasteful on the pallet for those who love that fresh off the cooking process taste. The orange chicken has the perfect crunch and looks quite appetizing, however, while its crunch is spectacular its flavor is painfully lacking..its missing the kick that I personally look for thats associated with Orange chicken. I can say with confidence, that the orange chicken had a lack of flavor I found disappointing that would have complimented its crunchy and juicy texture quite beautifully..Final thoughts: Great customer service and generous porportions of food for the price.
