Had the short ribs with fries and broccoli. Ribs had good flavor, but texture was chewy and the sauce was dried on the top. I understand cooking a batch and warming as needed, but if the sauce is dried on top, provide more sauce on the side. The fries were delicious, but there were 32 fries in the $7.00 side. Very steep for an inexpensive item.The floor was dirty with food visible in several locations.Super happy with the menu and the gluten free and vegan options. Thank you for that.

I expected a lot more from this location.Was served a warm garlic bread bowl. It was okay.I ordered baby back ribs. Tasted okay, nothing special with roasted broccoli and Mac and cheese, which was a total disappointment it looked like it was just a box brand.Another dish that was ordered was a BBQ combo, brisket, and chicken - brisket was good, chicken was two small breasts just lathered in bbq sauce with corn on the cob and mashed sweet potatoes as the sides.I also ordered the hand-made fresh lemonade. It was not fresh. Maybe they added sugar, but it was powered based.As a whole, this place was a bit of a letdown I expected better.

Wood Ranch has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants! Their food is always impeccable. We love to barbecue at home, so it’s hard to find a place that is better than homemade food but Wood Ranch never fails. We recommend the beef barbecue ribs, tri tip, Caesar salad and Cosmo for those 21+!

10 oz tri-tip was good. I dont normally like barbecue sauce but I did like theirs. I had it on the side just in case. The beef was cooked medium and it was done correctly. The grilled asparagus was good but the grilled brussel sprouts were a little tough and seemed like they had sat around for awhile. Normally you have to blame the server and not the kitchen for that

We had that absolute most best attentive waitress. The Natalie salad was very flavorful, and I added the chicken to it, which made it nice and filling. My husband had to be frozen they were huge and very flavorful as well, along with the mac and cheese and peanut coleslaw.

Great food. Great area. Good service. Nice ambiance. Its expensive, but you get the quality food you pay for, mostly. Delicious BBQ, sweet potato fries, rolls, and appetizers. The location is near a beautiful lake. The only thing that wasnt ideal was the charred asparagus and the flavor and texture of the fish. Otherwise, no complaints, and I would definitely go back.

Wood ranch has the best bbq in corona. They will seat guest till closing. The cocktails are amazing. Woodford old fashion is my favorite. Try the beef ribs. Today I gad the ribeye it was prepared perfectly juicy and tender. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive. I recommend wood ranch to everyone. Chloe was the best server.

First time dining here was overall fine but just a combo of small things added up throughout the night to a somewhat disappointing experience . Drink order was wrong which wouldn’t have been a big deal if we weren’t double charged for their mistake. Two steaks at our table were over cooked well done instead of Medium rare. Great rolls! I enjoyed my meal but I feel like the food and portions weren’t worth the price tag. Nice lively ambience. The waiter was nice and helpful I just think he might’ve been stretched a bit thin. If you go on a busy night just be on your toes to make sure your order comes out right.

I was told they were known for the TriTip and they did not disappoint! It was excellent. The beef ribs had good flavor but not enough meat for the price (lunch portion.) Their clam chowder is excellent though a little gritty at the bottom.

Four stars not because anything was wrong with it but I don’t believe there’s anything THAT special about this place. I ordered the barbecue chicken and it was pretty good. I will say their bread is amazing as well as their barbecue sauce which helps it get a four star rating. Atmosphere is nice as well as the servers which was a huge plus.Would recommend this to anyone looking for something on the simpler side.

Super delicious and tasty food here at the Wood Ranch Grill! Very nice sitting inside which made a comfortable environment for us to sit down and enjoy dinner on this nice Sunday with our family. Customer service was exceptional and our waitress was more than polite and very knowledgeable of the entire menu and was able to answer every question we had! I did order the beef ribs with roasted chicken and a roasted jalapeño along side the most amazing coleslaw I’ve ever had. The mac & cheese was also delicious nice and creamy not dry at all. I took a bite of my sons burger which was absolutely marvelous. And it was overall a very satisfying dinner we enjoyed this evening here. I do recommend you to bring your family friends or whoever has an appetite. This was definitely a great experience and we will be back thank you all!!

The food was fantastic! I would give more stars for the steak, broccoli, chicken, etc... every meal we had was great and the wine was perfect! Someone needs to tell Keith Honea (Managing Partner) that the restaurant gets super busy at night and there may be a need for additional servers. Arrived about 7PM and the restaurant was packed. Got seated out on the terrace as requested and the service was a bit slow - not terrible - just that the servers were very busy. NOTE: the servers were NOT standing around!!! I would return and often - this is a MUST-VISIT place for great food! Excellent atmosphere with a view of the lakes.

Despite being a party of nearly 30, it was the BEST service Ive ever had (and the food was DELICIOUS). We made the reservation about one month in advance and it was simple and easy. It was a Wedding Rehearsal Dinner, so the pressure was on. But the tables were ready on time, they were able to easily (and kindly) split checks, they brought us two candles in our complimentary ice cream, and best of all - they were on top of refills and brought everyones food out at once. Never hovering, but always there somehow. I never review places, but my goodness... this truly was such an amazing experience. Ive had plenty of good restaurant experiences - but nothing like this. Thank you, Wood Ranch servers, for starting off my wedding weekend [Monday & Tuesday] in such a positive way.

Yang Chow’s Restaurant in Chinatown in LA, is the most Authentic Chinese Cuisine you will ever taste. It’s the very best in Chinese Food. Once you try there delicious flavors in all there foods, you definitely will come back continually. Try the Slippery Shrimp and the 3 different meats in the fried rice, but honestly everything is delicious. Celebrities even think so. It’s a hidden gem, for sure. Thus restaurant has fantastic service and very fast to serve. Excellent service guaranteed.

During my visit to this shopping center I decided to eat here at Wood Ranch. My server was very professional. He was working very hard. I wish I remembered his name. Place is clean. Very comfortable seating. The trip tip soup was salty and my cheeseburger slider was pink. Drinks are good.

Some of the best ribs I have had. Ever. Hip atmosphere, incredible food (even the basic sides were fantastic) and the service was out of this world. Food came extremely fast, and our server Chloe was the sweetest. She checked in every few minutes and made sure everything was perfect. I have previously been at this restaurant several times & overall had been happy withtheir food & service, until today when I encountered one of their extremely unprofessional, inexperienced & unqualified so called young punk Assistant Manager named “Ashley”!I had ordered ribs, peanut coleslaw & a loaded baked potatoes. All was well with my meal until I added cheese & sour cream/chives ( I had ordered them on the side) to my baked potatoes & began to take a forkful of it when I noticed a hair like tiny spec poking out of it. When I grabbed it to remove it, I was shocked that it was actually a long strand of hair! Naturally I lost my appetite ( had to take the rest of my food home) & asked to speak to the Manager of the restaurant.Sadly so, Keith Honea, the Manager Partner of this restaurant was not there & instead I encountered the above referenced extremely unprofessional, inexperienced & unqualified so called assistant mgr young punk named “Ashley”!I was truly dumbstruck & dismayed when this woman saw with her own two eyes this long strand of hair still embedded in my baked potatoes, & only sufficed to say “ I am sorry this is not our hair” while she happened to have long dark hair herself, & yet she was claiming the hair in my food was not theirs?!Needless to say, I was beyond ENRAGED that not only she was not helping the situation, she was actually implying that the hair in question must have been mine by claiming “ this hair is not ours!Even Martin, another Assistant Mgr (totally unlike Ashley, a very docent Asst Mgr) who came to talk to me was just as dismayed by how Ashley had treated me & how ineffectively she had addressed the situation at hand. Had she apologised for my huge inconvenience over this hair found in my food, & had offered to replace my baked potatoes, none of this fiasco would have unfolded!I truly hope that this restaurant has security tapes they can view to learn all of the FACTS about this hair actually found in my food! Once they do, I hope that Mgr Keith Honea would have the sensibility to fire Ashley who is a huge liability to this restaurant!

Ive lived in the area for about 3 years and always planned to visit this place. I wish I wouldve come sooner because the food, advise and service are FANTASTIC! The lemon drop martini was weaker than plain lemonade, but was tolerable.I had the 8-bones of pork ribs, grilled broccoli and mac+cheese.I will absolutely need coming back. Next time Ill ask for an extra shot of vodka on the side though.

I ordered the lunch special sliders with no onion, salad, and coleslaw.Pros:1) Seated quickly and service was pretty good.2) Husbands salmon dish was a good size and cooked perfectly.3) Drinks were kept full and the bread was plentiful.Cons:1) I received onions on my sliders.2) I advised the server, her response was sorry. I removed them myself.3) Good size portion of coleslaw, but was served on the same plate as the sliders. Coleslaw leaked liquid all over plate which made the slider buns soggy. Wouldve preferred coleslaw in a separate dish.4) Salad couldve used more dressing, but didnt see a server near to request more dressing.Overall, we would dine here again, just wouldnt get the lunch special sliders.

We arrived at a high-peak time on an early Sunday afternoon and were seated within 5 minutes. After ordering, our server Nicole was was prompt with our meals, efficient and (thankfully) not chatty.We ordered the slider appetizers and two of the hearty salads. The food was fabulous! The meats were not drowning in seasoning, had wonderful flavor and a nice char, and were oh! so tender. The accompanying sauces complemented the meats without overpowering them. We are pretty picky when it comes to restaurant food, but we found no flaws whatsoever. All the flavors just worked!We left satisfied, feeling full but not stuffed. We will definitely be back!

Our server was Mike and the service was excellect. However, while the food was good, it was superb! The BBQ Baby Back Ribs had a very good flavor, there was as much meat on the ribs compared to other restaurants. The Tri-Tip had a lot of grisly fat on the ends which should have been trimmed before serving. The Garlic buttered rolls were fantastic along with the Mac & Cheese. The Mashed Potatoes lacked flavor and the Cole Slaw was OK. Overall, 4-Stars!

Wood Ranch is the best local spot for tri-tip, beef ribs, baby back ribs, and other barbecue specialties. There is no better tri-tip. It simply cannot be touched by anyone around. So few places even offer beef ribs these days that there is almost nothing else to compare them to. Theirs are excellent every time. And their baby back ribs blow everyone else out of the water. If youre looking for barbecue in the area, this is the best.

I am saddened to be giving this review because this was one of my number one place to always eat while living in town and as I visited town after moving away. I ate here last night and the food was now very mediocre, I asked for the Onion Soup and the waitress kept insisting they never offered that item. Although May have been sometime since they had I felt it was unfortunate she was not working there at a time they did have it because it was one of the best things in the menu.My Salmon was just okay very bland with little to no flavor. We arrived for a dinner for two, were met with a respectable host and escorted to our very meticulous booth shortly after. The waitress was specific and very good at her service. The lighting was incandescent with a intimate yet friendly atmosphere. Various T.V’s line the upper walls with both football and baseball as well as regular programming. I am pregnant and was craving sides without wanting to do the cooking... Wood Ranch taught me a valuable lesson about laziness. This was my first experience with the restaurant and I thought for $7-$9 per side they must be good. I got the Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts. I am so annoyed that I spent $25 on cardboard because thats what the sides tasted like. I even tried doctoring them by adding a little seasoning once I got home and it was just not good. The cheese tasted rubbery and while I saw bits of potato skin in the mash... Im not sure that they werent powdered potatoes. They need to get better ingredients or new recipes or both... it was mediocre at best. If their sides are any indication of their main dishes... its gonna be a hard pass. I ate most of the Brussels because they were at least edible and made some mash out of some extra Yukon golds I had so I could at least eat, which defeated the entire purpose of me going to Wood Ranch.

I eat a very restrictive diet for health reasons, which is often seen as a subset of Vegan or Vegetarian. Today I decided to try their House-Made Veggie Burger. The consistency was like a loose mildly sticky unfinished cookie batter with more weight. The flavor was nothing to write home about, and just picking this burger up to take a bite caused chunks of the patty to break off and fall from the bun.I really had high hopes given the quality of food I tend to get here, but this was a real disappointment. If you prefer to eat Whole Food Plant Based like me, this is simply not something worth trying. A black bean burger patty would have been far better and could have provided the starches needed for calories to fuel my body. I cant really figure out what was intended with this menu option, but the creator is clearly not someone who eats vegan or vegetarian on a regular basis.Maybe it would make sense to consult with someone who actually eats this way? I would love to be able to eat here more frequently (this was a family dinner) but with no reasonable dishes to chose from other than salads and a small number of side dishes, there arent really any options that provide reasonable fuel for daily requirements.

We are currently living in a hotel nearby and this has become our favorite local restaurant. I dont eat a lot of red meat but my husband loves the brisket. Says it is great every time. We tend to go on the earlier side around 5:30 and usually have no problem getting a table in the bar. There has only been one time in the past 3 months the service wasnt good and I think it was a fluke.

10/14/2022Update, I just upped up rating. Ate there last month, food was pretty good, service great.First ReviewThis was the third visit. If your not a foodie then this is the place for you. The quality and flavor equates to Chilis with a nice decore.The bar looks fine the deserts are good, but the BBQ sauce made from what equates to Tang© no thanks.If your looking for a deep rich Texas style BBQ, its just not happening at Wood Ranch. The baked beans and mashed potatoes blah.However they do a lot of business! But then so does McDonalds.

I really want to like this place more. The staff is amazing and the ambiance is perfect. As for the food, I have attended 3 different dinners here with friends and family and every time there is a slight complaint about the food. Either dry or over cooked but never cold. The drinks are spot on so that helps.

This was my first time trying out this spot! My brother andnI took my mother here for a before the rush Mothers day dinner. They must be super popular because there was a wait but it wasnt long. It actually helped so that we had time to take a look at the menu. The food was great, service was amazing and even the margaritas we ordered were just right. Two of them were all we needed!

Love this place. Been enjoying their food for years. Amazing how consistent they are with their foods quality. Their restaurants are all inviting, well kept, and comfortable. Their staff are well trained and always gracious. Bottom line, Its about their food. Everything we ordered has been terrific.

We received excellent customer service from our waitress. Crowded, (even on weekdays!) but once we got our plates it was understandable why it was so popular! The wait for the food arrival was not very long, only about 4-9 minutes. Once the food arrived, amazing aromas filled the air. My Baby Back Ribs were so scrumptious, I loved their handmade BBQ sauce, as well as my side I chose. Our meal was great overall! I would recommend this establishment to my friends. :)-10/18/17

I visited around 1:30-2 pm, their daily rush was gone, yet they still had a semi full house. The food is good, the portions are okay, but the prices are on the steep side. Therefore, it takes from being able to tip the waiters generously.Our waitress was on her toes, not only with our table, but throughout the restaurant. Thanks

Not sure what happened the quality of the menu. Wood Ranch used to have mouth watering bbq about three years ago but it seems the flavor has since dropped. The tri-tip sandwich I got was rather thin compared to the roll and the sides were just overall meager. The place still offers good quality service. Still a must to try if youre in the Dos Lagos or Corona area.

There was a hair in my sweet potato mash and the appetizer plates werent dried properly.The food was good but this left me feeling iffy about the quality, what else is sliding by unnoticed?I know its the holidays and people are overworked and underpaid, but this is something you would expect from a Dennys, not a place that presents itself as a nice restaurant.

Great food and service.We were a bit put off by how full the parking lot was, but ended up going right to our table. Our server was there every time we needed her and she made sure our drinks and water were always topped off.BBQ sauce is perfect. Not too sweet. Ribs fell off the bone. Asparagus cooked to perfection. Everything was tasty.Lots of craft beer on tap.Well be back!

I convinced my wife for us to go to the Wood Ranch for our anniversary dinner because I enjoy cowboy style bbq. She admittedly said she didnt like their bbq sauce, but I managed to convince her to go anyway. She ordered the James Crispy Chicken sandwich with no jalapeños. I ordered the 7oz. brisket because the description sounded so mouth watering. My sides were baked potato and grilled broccoli. Well, the wifes sandwich had jalapeños, strike one. The broccoli was burnt. And I dont mean slightly, it was coal, strike two. The brisket was old, super salty, and so dry, I had to put sour cream on it from my baked potato to be able to swallow it. My wife wins and she said, I told you so, Im out $87 (thats with a very poor tip, BTW), and we will never go back.

The food at this place is amazing! Was visiting the area, and could smell the wood burning! Everything was wonderful! They have a full bar, great salads, and great food! The service is great too!
