Wow!!I was in town visiting a customer and needed to grab lunch. Saw excellent reviews for Wood’s Deli and decided to give it a shot. Absolutely no regrets. The sandwich choices are many and all look very appealing. We got two… the Tuna Melt and the Turkey Pretzel and, at the owner’s suggestion, sliced them and half so we could sample both. These sandwiches were both over the top! Fresh ingredients, Boar’s Head meats and bread that is apparently straight out of heaven. They are prepped and assembled by the most congenial team you’ll ever encounter!This will be a regular stop whenever I’m back in this neck of the woods.If you live around here, you are lucky to have ready access to this shop. Enjoy.

This is a seriously good sandwich shop. I got the Turkey Pretzel and everything about it was perfect. The arugula and avocado were fresh. The turkey was flavorful and abundant. The pretzel bun was toasted to perfection, and the cheese and sauce brought it all together. Add some pepperoncinis for extra flavor! Super friendly and helpful staff too.

There is a variety of sandwiches and vegan options as well. There are salads if you don’t feel like eating a sandwich, too. They brew different flavored iced tea. It’s a must try if your in the area.

Great sandwiches and even better service.Newest sandwich deli in Southeast LA.Had the chicken pesto and the Italian Stallion. Both are DELICIOUS! If I had to pick one, my choice is the pesto.All sandwiches are made to order, every sauce is made from scratch onsite. Even the ice teas are made from scratch.Great service!If you enjoy a good sandwich, this place is a must!

Woods Deli never ceases to come correct with their sandwiches! Any sandwich on their menu reflects the passion that the owner and staff share for making quality sandwiches. Ingredients are always fresh and the restaurant is always clean and presentable. Easily one of my favorite sandwich spots in any area of Los Angeles!

I absolutely loved these sandwiches. We had the turkey pretzel and pastrami. The service was great! Not sure if it was a really busy day or if it’s always busy, but they managed to still be kind to everyone that entered. I have ordered through uber eats and will likely go back in person.

Ive had the turkey pretzel and Hotel Ciabatta both are fire! They come with a side of salad ask for the green sauce on top its delicious! Oh and the green drink 🔥🔥🔥 Rob the owner is a super nice guy its a must go if youre in the area! Check it out!

Great customer service and the food does not disappoint. Made to order, sandwiches served with a salad as a side.It’s located in a shopping center and cannot be seen from the street.parking is a bit tough where.

Literally the BEST sandwich Ive had in a long long time! I had the turkey pretzel sandwich with the chipotle sauce which was freshly toasted and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! Sandwich came with a fresh mixed greens salad as well and complimented the sandwich nicely. Bread is made daily by a local baker and the deli meat is Boars Head.Also ordered the cucumber and spinach lemonade which was absolutely delicious...never would thought something earthy would be so satisfying. Turns out the owner previously owned a juicing business for 8 years, is extremely knowledgeable and makes all juices by hand in-house. They also offer a hibiscus lemonade too.I highly recommend you try Woods Deli!!!!!

My girlfriend found this place we decided to stop by to grab a small bite the guy is so nice and friendly very helpful and he explain really nice the menu and gave us few recommendations unfortunately didnt get his name. we were surprised how delicious the sandwiches are, the lemon tea is so good we will definitely come back to try more and highly recommend this spot its worth every single penny spent here

I drove out from the south bay try out this new deli. I can say I wasnt not disappointed. I have been to delis all over wine country, Boston, New York, and here in LA. One thing that distinguishes a great deli is they dont cut corners. They use only high quality cuts and the freshest ingredients. The person behind the counter is always knowledgable and ready to provide recommendation if it the persons first time. This place checks off every box. I highly recommend their Woody Special, it enough to feed two people so show up hungry.Also, I would like to add, the owner and I had a good conversation and he was open to any and all suggestions on making his product better. Which tell you he cares about customer satisfaction. I highly recommend this place.

Woods Deli has become my favorite place to have lunch, and Im in almost daily now. They have a variety of sandwiches and soups. Its great healthy food and a fun, friendly place to grab a quick bite. The owner always greets his customers and you can tell he takes a lot of pride in his menu and enthusiastically listens to feedback. Stopping by Woods Deli is a highlight of my workday.

I came to their soft opening this past Friday and wasnt sure what to expect since I am not the biggest sandwhich-eater lol. Upon entering, youre greeted by a huge mural that sets the ambiance nicely. Its a small, but well furnished hole in the wall with comfortable seating if you choose to sit and eat. I ended up ordering 4 different sandwiches to share with friends, which all turned out to be very tasty and unique for the area. The ingredients are all far better quality than your average subway, while still being familiar and flavorful. the pretzel bun turkey and cheese sandwich was my favorite since it included avocado and arugula to balance all of the rich flavors. All of the sandwiches were absolutley PACKED with the selected deli meats, which was nice. I am for sure going to be a regular here, since I found out its owned by a community member who previously introduced Huntington Park to healthy juice options and is now bringing that same spark in the form of a deli.
