Great food and friendly service. If you are in the area, try it out. I had the wings, and my wife had a harvest soup. We enjoyed them both along with hand rolled tater tots.However, the berry cream hand pie was Amazing!! Check this place out. Its very good food.

Had to do something in Redding and saw this brewery rated really high so tried it out.They have several beers on tap, and price was reasonable.Had the tator tots that was tasty.I had the short rib that was amazing. So tender, so good. Wife had the burger which was also tasty and juicy.Fantastic place, try it out!

Returned to Woodys after long absence. Steve Miller was playing nearby so we decided to return to Woodys. The beer is very good. I had a nut brown ale which Ive had in the past and it was nice. We had fried pickles for appetizer. Wonderfully decadent! I had shrimp poboy sandwich and my wife had the bacon blue cheese burger and Woodys beer Mac and cheese. Both sandwiches were excellent. Our server, Nikki, was fantastic. Cost was reasonable. We will return again.

I used to not like their beer but it has gotten much better in my opinion. The food is pretty good for a Redding restaurant, I got the fish and chips and it was better than Final Drafts Fish and chips. The service is always great here but it can get pretty busy sometimes.

Cant say the beers were excellent, but they sure hit the spot. The food looks great and smells even better. Im excited to return here to try everything on their menu at least once! The staff is great and the interior is super spacious and clean. Youll easily enjoy your time here as it makes for a great hang out spot.

I went there yesterday. It was good. My mom got the fish and chips but not a lot of fish. I ordered the barbecue burger and a game with an onion ring on top and I ordered some Oktoberfest and my mom ordered a Pacific pineapple cider. Yeah, the beer is better than the food, but the beer is so good hands-down

This place is a hidden gem with delicious craft beers and ciders as well as food that is delicious, well seasoned, and made with love. Our server was super nice and easygoing, and the restaurant went above and beyond to create a great dining experience. We are visiting from out of town, but we will definitely eat here again when we are in the area. We HIGHLY recommend this place! We were from out of town and stopping for the night and decided to check this place out. Definitely worth it! The food was really good and our server was awesome. We got a smokehouse burger and the Cajun chicken pasta and shared both dishes. Everything was seasoned really well and the food was exceptional. I personally preferred the burger but they were both awesome. Also had the Tiki Time Hazy IPA which was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.

Tried several different beers,all were very well done. Good flavor and true to their style. Had the fish and chips, one of the best Ive ever had. Server/bartender Paul suggested I try their signature tater tots, he was spot on right,the tots are hand made every day and were amazing. My wife had their Korean wings, they were also very good. This place is a must try if you are in the Redding area.

The fried pickle spears are REALLY GOOD! They are big, Crunchy and fried perfectly. I also had the Mac attack which has beer cheese and turns out I’m not a big fan of yeasty beer in my Mac n cheese. However, the texture was good and they use the right noodles. You can swap out for regular cheese also and request add ins like chicken, bacon or jalapeño ect… I usually come here for the fish n chips cause it’s the best in town.

My wife and I ate lunch here today and it was great way to end our trip to Redding, California. The food was terrific and the rumors are true, try the tots, they are Amazing. Lets face it though you can get a good burger or a good brew anywhere nowadays, I would come back here because the service was superb, thanks Erik. The atmosphere upbeat and the feel of the restaurant was refreshing. Their willingness to work my diet and my wifes diet was great, we eat differently. Even though my wife and I dont drink, I bought a growler for a Christmas gift. To work up a good appetite go next door to the Antique store, it was wondrous.

Ran into a local while visiting Redding downtown for the first time and were recommended to check out Woodys -- so grateful for that because Woodys is so awesome 😎. Beer selection is cool, we had Shasta haze / apricot wheat - both delicious. Had jalapeno burger with tots which was phenomenal - the pretzel bun was soft and flavorful and all the layers of meat, veggies, jalapeno were nicely balanced. I would say this is top1 or 2 of burgers in California for me! The tater tots were no ordinary tots - flavorful and nice texture. Would definitely come back if we visit Redding again. So thankful for the friendly local recommendations.

SERVED BEEF TO A VEGETARIAN:I understand that mistakes happen but the way they treated the situation was bad. When I got the burger the patty seemed like an impossible patty, but the way it was cooked was like real meat. I asked my server to confirm if the burger patty was vegan or not. She said that the order was vegan so it should be vegan.After getting the confirmation, it did take a bit (my mother who is super religious waited). It did not taste like a vegan patty to me so I asked the server to confirm with the chef. The chef was already on duty so I asked her to get me a new one. The new burger was definitely a different patty.I asked for the manager and she was not there, asked for the head chef and her response was simply we will take the burger off for you and that mistakes happen. I do agree that mistakes happen but then you also need to respond to the situation correctly. She was not at all apologetic.I did not feel like paying for the other burger that we had, wasnt about the money, my world doesnt change in $15 but that was probably the only thing that I could do, I was already in too much shock. At that point she was really rude to us, trying to make us feel as if it was our mistake that we dont eat beef.

Second time ordering food from this restaurant. Went on Mothers Day to get takeout, as the online ordering wasnt working that day. We ordered Thai wings, a bacon bleu burger and a Philly. About 20 minutes after we placed the order, a server informed us that the kitchen had actually ran out of Philly components. My husband was bummed because he was looking forward to that sandwich. My bacon bleu burger was delicious and cooked perfectly to medium. The Thai wings were also incredible. The sauce was bomb and they were crisp in all the right ways. We were stoked to give it another go. This evening we ordered the Philly + O-rings, Thai and Buffalo wings, a pretzel with beer cheese, and a box of tots. Onion rings were great, pretzel w/beer cheese was great, wings totally great. But the tots were definitely missed with any form of salt. The texture was good, but they were super bland little balls. My husbands Philly didnt come with the beer cheese sauce as described on the menu. There was some gouda slapped on there and it didnt even try to melt. He couldnt eat it, it had turned into a weird rubbery flap and gave the whole sandwich a strange texture. He peeled off the gouda flap and the flavor was still there. It was an unfortunate buzzkill of a $15 sandwich.

One of the absolute best burgers in the Redding area. I came here because I had heard great things about their beer, all of which are true by the way. However what really got me hooked was the food. The staff was great. Friendly and offer suggestions.If you are vegan, mention it or ask about their secret menu items. I got their housemade vegan burger modified with vegan options.The tots I enjoyed as they are more like a potato pancake consistency (almost mashed texture), but my husband did not like them. If you are expecting the consistency of frozen tots and do not like potato pancakes (like my husband) you will be disappointed by their tots. All 3 beers we tried were good.We got their Berzerker double IPA which was sweeter than I expected with how high of IBUs it was rated. And the Shasta Haze, Hazy IPA which I enjoyed more. We also tried their stout they had because it has a higher IBU (yes I like my beer bitter) than many other stouts (stouts are a hit or miss with me, but when I find one I enjoy I really love them) which I enjoyed, but my husband said it felt too light as far as consistency.

This is an easy 5-star review. The Spicy California Chicken sandwich, is awesome, with great bread (the only way a sandwich gets 4+). The Apricot Wheat beer is outstanding, best of style, for my palate. Homemade tater tots, fresh produce, and Pork Wings all delivered. 4.5 stars. Redding is hardly a vegan mecca, so we’re very grateful for the service we received here. Our server, Heather (or so it said on the bill) was a really great server. She was everywhere all at once, knowledgeable, and was fine with all of our questions. She gleaned that we were vegan and offered us an off-menu vegan sandwich (a house made veggie burger on ciabatta with balsamic). It was tasty!! They’re also a brewery, and I had the apricot wheat while my husband had some kind of lager- those were both great too. Thanks Woody’s! Our stay in Redding would have sucked without you! Googled best burgers in Redding, and Woodys came up. Headed over with our group of 9, six of which were kids ages 4-15. They were able to accommodate us and our server Jes was fantastic. The food was delicious. I had the BLT and the pepper bacon had this lingering sweetness that made it memorable. 15 said her burger was great, shes a bit of a critic. I had the No Worries Wit Belgian white, which was perfect for a hot day and a yummy sammie.

This is the best place in town. We love their food. I used to think of this place as a brewery only and Im not a fan of beer.They have way more than beer. They have amazing food at a great value. Check out the carnitas nachos. This fed my entire fanily and there was still some left over. We also had some hot wings and they are good, good, good. Salads are full of food, not just lettuce. My friend always gets the chicken finger sandwich. Every time. He just loves it.They carry Coke products instead of Pepsi (yay!)I had their Pacific Pineapple Cider and I hope they keep it in rotation.The best thing about Woodys is how involved they are in charity and community. The way they get involved is enough reason alone to come here. But when you get here, youll come back for the food. Enjoy!

We enjoyed our overall experience. High quality food that was prepared fresh. We were surprised at how small the Bavarian Soft Pretzel was (similar in size to a pretzel from a chain pretzel place, not what weve come accustomed to as a giant pretzel from a pub), but it was still delicious. We were also surprised by the fried pickles - the description says beer battered pickle spears, we received 6 spears and they were quite large, and fried spears (still delicious) are definitely different than the usual fried pickle chips. Overall an excellent food choice.Side note - we went on a Tuesday evening and our food took a little longer to receive than we expected, but that didnt detract from the overall enjoyment of the food or the venue.

We were just passing through Redding and stumbled upon Woodys. What a find! The food was awesome! We had Thai wings, soft pretzel, house tater tots (wow!), mac n cheese, smokehouse burger, veggie burger. Every item was surprisingly delicious. Classic pub food at a higher culinary quality and with a modern twist. I usually skip house made veggie burgers because they are rarely worth eating, but this one was hands down the best I have had. Only drawback is that the parking lot was packed with cars for the bar next door (at lunchtime). This meant we had to run across a busy street with newborn and toddler in tow.

Unfortunately, I did not have a positive experience with this place at all. My family and I are receiving family before my sisters wedding, and my parents were hyping up the experience because they had a great time the last they were there. We arrived a little after 1:00 and we ordered and did not receive our food until almost 40 minutes (not a huge deal to me but it is definitely a note worth making). Regrettably, I ordered a salad that was positively drenched in dressing with very unappealing presentation (it was $16.95 I believe). In addition to the mediocrity of the salad, there was a black tailed expired shrimp, and I should have taken a picture for evidence. My mom who was excited to have steak cut fries as she remembered last time were this time cold and stale as well as my uncles. Her burger which she asked to be medium rare was rare and my dads was supposed medium rare but well done (also they were extremely greasy). Onto the nit-picks, my dads glass of beer was not all the way full in addition to the inch of foam ($8), my rotting shrimp corpse salad was becoming a soup because of the dressing ($16.95), there was an ominous pubic hair on the toilet seat ($0), and as I realized later the back of my skirt had a sticky stain on the back of it because of the chair I sat in ($ for stain remover). Quite a disappointing experience, hopefully my family and I can remedy for better experience tommorow.Tldr; long wait, mediocre food for high price, I almost got poisoned by a rotten (malicious) shrimp, and surfaces are bit unclean. It seems like they are short staffed.But for a positive, it seems like other people were having a good time so good for them. But we will likely never come back.

So my hubby and I decided to check out a few of the breweries around town. I ordered the Falkor buzz tap beer and it was delightful. My husband enjoyed the brown ale. Then we ordered the recommended tator tots and mac and cheese. We waited awhile for the food to arrive and when it did, it was all barely room temp! Plus the macaroni in the dish was way under cooked, served in a tin pan and much like something youd feed a child. It all went back. They brought out a new basket of tots and they were at least hot this time but as far as flavor...nothing special. And the cajun sauce smelled and tasted like body order. Nothing cajun about it. Maybe more like Indian curry. Maybe it was a bad night for the cook. Whatever the case, well go back for the beer, the food...not so much.

Woodys is really good but Woodys is not cheap. A family of 4 and a couple beers is walking out of here over $100. The beer is good and the selection is large. Staff are knowledgeable about all the taps and they will direct you to what youll like. They are pros on the deep fryer so take advantage of that. The burgers are some of the best around. The specials are always worth a shot. Overall a very nice occasional treat for the family.

So we came to check out Woodys on a recommendation and it was pretty good. The tater tots were pretty good. I ordered the Woody, an angus burger with their thousand island dressing and your choice of cheese. I went with Swiss. It has what looks to be a pretzel bun. I then washed it down with their Irish Red which was pretty amazing. My wife had their BLT which was epic!! She ordered a raspberry Ale which was really tasty and fruity. I rated it a 4 star not because the service was bad. Everyone was friendly and accommodating but my tots were a bit cold. They are short staffed and takes them a bit to get you squared away so be warned in that regard. If you don’t wanna wait to long then don’t come here. If you wanna be patient and have some great beer and a cool vibe and good food then go get you some!! Happy eating!

The beer was excellent across the board. Only one hazy disappointed me. Surprisingly, the apricot ale was a favorite.The food was good but not great. The tater tots are unbelievably good. This would have been a five-star if they didnt treat outdoor seating customers as takeout and refused to assist.We walked in and expressed the interest in dining outdoor and a rude waitress told us to order, take out and eat outside with a really bad attitude. Appetizer and beer as always was delicious, however service was awful. Got there at 5:50 and ordered beer and appetizers. Beers were dry a loooong time and finally had to go to the bar to get a refill and order our dinner. 50 minutes in my 2nd beer and appetizers finally showed up. Tables around us had to go to the bar to get their checks. The reason given was a new cook and a large table in back. After 90 minutes I went to the bar to check on our dinner order after seeing two tables and a few bar patrons that were seated 30-40 minutes after us receiving their dinners. I was greeted by a tall blonde waitress who claimed her name was Jessica, I asked if our orders had been lost. She said no that the kitchen was backed up. I pointed out the the tables that came in after us that had gotten their food and she claimed they ordered before us. I told her no they didnt that I watched them get seated well after wed arrived and ordered. At this point Jessica became very rude and asked if Id like to do her job. Having worked in food service in college from kitchen to floor I understand a busy restaurant and a new cook but not the level of rudeness and outright lying I received from Jessica. I have been going to Woodys relatively regularly since they opened and always enjoyed myself and most likely wouldve returned had it not been for the rude unprofessional treatment from Jessica. I canceled our order and left. Youve lost a customer.In response to the owner, I fully understand staffing issues. I worked food service through college as did my sister and a daughter. I generally am very understanding and tip very well as I understand how difficult the job can be. However as I stated that does not excuse the rudeness I experienced. A well trained server that is suited for the vocation would never treat a customer that way. We had a toddler with us that didn’t understand why it took almost an hour to get her food(I had to flag down a server and ask for crackers or anything for her to nibble on until her food came) when another 45 minutes passed after her food came she was again miserable from being strapped in a seat for an hour and a half. When I approached Jessica and pointed out that 5 groups (2tables and 3 at the bar) that came in well after us had received food (I was sitting at the windows right next to the door) the proper answer would’ve been “I’m sorry let me check on that”. Instead she incorrectly tried to say they ordered first and when I told her she was incorrect she became hateful. Like I said, I’ve been a customer since you opened but if you don’t train your staff to handle the stress any better than that I wish you luck keeping your doors open.

This place definitely has potential! The service started out great. Unfortunately, the night I came in, I was a party of one. The server acknowledged me almost immediately. She offered water and beer and delivered them promptly. I ordered an appetizer, ( tots with blue cheese and bacon bits), it was fantastic. When I ordered the appetizer I told the server I am going to order a burger later. Other than a couple of minutes after I got the appetizer she never checked back with me. I felt as if I was being ignored. I had to flag down a different server. I was prepared to tip quite generously as I was buying food for three. The burgers were awesome. Husband ordered his burger with no tomato, but forgot to ask for no tomato on the side salad - they left it off his salad anyway and clearly marked his container.The food was awesome! Woodys has a very creative menu that pushes flavors to the limits without going overboard. I ordered the Woodys BLT and it was very good. It had a lot of flavors going on compared to an average BLT but it worked. The tomato was breaded and fried which changed the consistency of the sandwich, the bacon was thick and very peppered. My wife had a burger that she loved as well. We had the Xango for dessert which is a piece off cheese cake deep fried in a tortilla with cinnamon and a caramel rum sauce, also delicious and very creative. My wife and I are locals and had never been to Woodys. All we heard about were the Tater Tots and how great they were. Last time I went in I sat right smack in the middle of the dining room. It wasnt very busy only a few other tables were occupied, but that could mean half the dining room. My waiter or waitress (still not sure who was the right one) passed me by 3-4 times before I stopped one of them and asked for a menu. First time at Woodys Brewing Co. and the reviews prior to when I stepped in definitely held up. For those that are scared off by the fact that this is a brewing company, I have to point out first and foremost that the food was fantastic! The tots are not to be missed even if you are not a traditional tater-tot lover. These are more a pretzel-puff of garlic buttery-ness. I ordered the jalapeno burger which was everything you would want it to be. Not runny, generously stacked, but not unmanageable, jalapenos fresh enough to kick you in the face a bit :) Then theres the beer... Woodys brewing Co has somehow successfully pulled off a heist of flavor. They perfectly mimic the mainstream Belgian white your friend loves with an orange slices (which shant be named, but Woodys does it better). They put their own spin on what already existed in in the marketplace and killed it. For those taking dates or business interests, this place is also probably one of the more classy breweries you can find south of Bend, OR and definitely does not lack ambience/quality vibe.
