I came into World 1-1 Games looking to trade some games in. They gave me more than what I was expecting. A lot more actually. They had killer N64 games so I bought I console with Mario kart 64 and a couple of controllers. This place is pretty awesome and you should check it out.

Amazing store, great staff. Everyone is super friendly and helpful, I was able to relive my childhood with this spot. Very fair prices and gave me a way better offer for my games than I expected. With the edition of the arcade it just made this spot all the more better. If you’re ever in town and are considering a good spot to enjoy yourself, this is the place.

I wish I could say I’ve had good experiences here but the owner, or whoever the guy is at the front is very rude and unprofessional. Every time I have went in he has been unprofessional, and rude about trade ins. He’ll make you wait while he does absolutely nothing and then tries to rip you off. I used to love this store when it was in its first location. The staff WERE always great and very professional. I will no longer support this place and it’s sad because they have a great selection but not with their major lack of customer service I’d rather not deal with it.

Both the shop and the arcade are a dream to visit! They’ve got your classic pinball machines and all sorts of new games too! They’ve got games for the little ones, teens and even for the parents. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and very helpful if you should run into any issues. Both shops hit the nostalgia criteria very hard and it’s comforting to have such an amazing arcade here in our small town of Santa Maria. It gives the old and young something fun to do to unwind in this tense world we live in. I can’t wait to stop in again!

(Review of Arcade) This place is pritty large, almost like a Dave and Busters but without the restaurant. Large selection of arcade games with classics all the way up to new release machines. About a dozen pinball games also if you like those. Prices are ok for most games. its alright.

Wow what an awesome arcade! The best in the area. As a pinball enthusiast I was stoked to see 26 pinball machines! Only one of the machines was down and they kindly gave me a refund. The Simpsons and Mario Bros pinball were my favorite. Theyve also got a great selection of driving, fighting, and shooting games. I was suprised to see Street Fighter 3. The prices are fair and the employees are friendly as well.

Very well stocked game store with plenty of video game adjacent merchandise. Current Gen all the way back to the beginning. Amazing selection of retro game consoles, peripherals, discs, and cartridges. The older games and most consoles are overpriced. But if youre a collector, thats just the price you pay to get what you want, when you want it. Ive been to a LOT of retro game stores, and I would be hard pressed to claim Ive seen anyone match this broad and well maintained collection. Well worth your time for serious collectors.

Almost $50.00 for a 5 cent piece of cardboard anointed by Pokemon or $75.00 for a childs zipper tote anointed by Disney is not supply and demand or the result of market forces. Its pure manipulation and blatant greed.The game store and arcade pay license fees to cartoon copyright holders, a normal business practice, but then raise prices beyond belief.The arcade is essentially a permanent traveling carnival midway of games. Many are fun to play but those that promise to reward skill are designed so that collecting enough points for a big prize is a fools errand. The more someone tries to win a prize, the worse the bargain.The most pathetic game of skill is the cubicle with a metal claw controlled from outside to grasp a stuffed animal, the most popular game for small children. The claw is too weak to hold anything heavier than dust and little kids leave disappointed after an early lesson in graft.Although the arcade has large fans for ventilation, they dont remove the smell of traveling carnival.

I have been shopping with world 1-1 games for a little bit more than 7 years, and I have to say, this is probably my favorite store to shop at. I have known the staff for the majority of this time and they are some of the nicest people I know. The quality of service, and of their stock has ALWAYS been great. Every single game and console Ive bought from them has worked perfectly. Their prices are a bit more expensive than on ebay, but the quality of every item rivals in comparison. My previous review is below and I have always liked the store and the owner. After response I was offered I feel that is totally fair and a great solution and I look forward to shopping with world 1-1 in the future. So def making 5 stars. My complaint was more with the shopping experience in the new store, everything else is great. I can totally understand rearranging to prevent theft however.The new store is a bit of a let down. Can’t really browse or see prices. Stopped me from spending alot of money hopefully they will be more willing to go through and show every little game and price now that it will have to be the norm to find out any information

Awesome place! Packed full of nerd goodies! Bags, Funko pop, pins, games, models, shirts, and so much more. And of course, games! They have games for all consoles and a lot still in the boxes! They also have a mini arcade in there was Mario Cart, Mine Craft and several others! I had to circle the store about 3 times just to feel like I saw even half of what is packed into this store. And they are reasonably priced! Cool, eclectic shop full of so much pop culture and video game stuff.

It breaks my heart that things didnt work out for me as a customer because I do love the shop. There is a lot to look through that is really cool and I love the selection- unfortunately there was almost no communication with me when I put in an order for a new game. I badly wanted to support this local business instead of big retailers but after three+ weeks of waiting for a game and no calls from anyone working there even after being promised twice I would get a call I had to cancel my order. If I had felt more like I mattered at any step during this process I would have kept coming back, no doubts about it.

My family and I went to this amazing store today! We brought in a PS3 for repairs that I was quoted would be $180 dollars to fix at another store, but World 1-1 was like we can do it for $45. We then got to see what this store had to offer and it truly was incredible! They got anime figures, funko pops, marvel figures and then we went to the back and witnessed all of the retro consoles! This place is like a museum. I got to show my son what an actual Sega Saturn looks like and they got every game that you can imagine in stock! Plus they got a bunch of actual arcade cabinets and I may have given the Mortal Kombat 3 machine a big hug! My youngest boy bought a Jo Jo’s Bizarre Adventure figure and the clerk chatted with us about anime and was just so friendly with my kids. As we left I told my boys “ I think we just found our second home!” Can’t recommend this store enough! If you want to come and just let your inner geek explode??? This is the place to do so!

I freaking heart this place World 1-1. Since the first time I went (back when the store was a little hole in the wall) I was amazed how it felt like a game museum and less of a game shop. Rudy along with his wife are super nice, very humble, and treat you as if you known them for years. I also taken my PS3 to have it fixed and havent been disappointing since, and I will always point people to go check out World 1-1 from buying games to just being taken back to a distance memory from growing up as a gamer.

There prices used to be cheap like 2 years ago then last year they were all right but now they have there games at prices that arent even worth it. They wont tell you prices over the phone. They dont take games if they too much of it. They dont even give you 1/4 of what you paid for the games you trade in. They also sell pre-owned systems for double the price it was when originally released. I honestly hated shopping here because its like an arm and a leg for 3DS games. They even sell pre-owned switch games for brand new prices or like a few dollars under the brand new price. I would never recommend my friends to shop here.

Overpriced D&D books at double the cost from any other retailer and out of stock dice. They only have the core rule books in stock. No extras no modules. And a no return policy. Once you buy it, you can only get store credit for a return, even same day.
