World Foods Supermarket in San Diego

I came to buy items for Vietnamese bowls and dipping sauce.Super friendly staff. I’m not used to shopping at an Asian grocery store, and it’s hard to find items at times. I had two employees ask me separately if I needed help finding anything.The cashiers were nice too.

E ha mung. Over the past decade the store has improved to become not just in Asian grocery store but a part of the wider community. Everythings fresh and so clean big aisles, produce lots of stuff

Great selection of imitation meat for vegans and vegetarians. However we did not see some frozen Chinese items like radish cake. Still, pretty good selection of veggies, sauces, dry, and frozen items.

I’ve had good customer service so far . I come here for my seafood especially my mackerel fish.

It has a good amount of stuff, different Asian drinks and snacks, and other food, theres also a mix of Mexican stuff and regular grocery store items in there too

Best fresh fish and seafood very friendly and professional staff, they understand the customers needs and do their best to accommodate it. I got the largest Bufflo fish in the store and cooked it as Maskoof Iraqi fish.

Cashier Amina R.: terrible customer service. It was an awkward exchange and no manners given on her behalf eventhough I was a mannerable customer. It felt unwelcoming.

They tow their own paying customers cars 😂😂 never supporting their store again, they are some greedy people, my family have been shopping with them nearly every day since we moved here and will not keep doing so. plus the store stinks

This is my favorite Asian food store. Ive been to other Asian markets, like SF Market on Linda Vista and 99 Ranch on Clairemont Mesa. But I love going to World Foods. The store is well organized. Products are neatly stocked and displayed. The variety is amazing. Produce is fresh and well taken care of. What impresses me the most is how friendly the people are. And they all speak good English! When I need to find something, they can tell me exactly where it is and sometimes even walk me over. The checkout clerks always have a smile on their faces. In my opinion, World Foods is the best-run Asian market in San Diego!

This is the! Most!! Well! Stocked! Asian market south of Los Angeles, people!!! Love this market! Unbelievable selection! Simply too good to be true! Highly Recommend!
