If you are ready to step WAY beyond Panda, definitely consider this spot. Bold flavors, vibrant colors, spice that is crisp & clean but SOLID. Xiang-style is also known as Hunan cuisine, but this is a special menu of regional favorites that bears little resemblance to the strip-mall fare that has gone by that name in the past. We ordered the sautéed lamb medium, and, yeah, you could call that medium, but I’m still feelin it. Cubed pork with potato, cabbage, fried rice all excellent.
This upstairs location was tricky to find, but it was worth the effort. Flavorful dishes, very generous portions. Space was very comfortable and waiters gave us plenty of privacy.
Found this restaurant from a list of top restaurants in LA, and it was great experience. Food is very Hunan authentic and great dining environment. 真的很好吃！！
Kuddos to my server, stellar service. Not so impressed with the food though. I got peppery soup with over ripe Diakon and the other dishes can use a little improvement as well.

Never had such bad Hunan food! A skinny fish that’s less than half a pound costs $14.99, and it’s still stinky… I’ve never seen a restaurant more deceptive than this restaurant in Los Angeles! Those online reviews that say the food is delicious are either people who are not trolls from the store, or people who are unwilling to fall into the trap and want more people to taste the unlucky feeling.Im telling you the truth, dont disturb this store anymore. If it closes early, it will be equivalent to eliminating harm to the people.

The food here feels more home-cooked than other Hunan restaurants. They have good portions and reasonable prices. Medium was just the right level of spiciness for us.

Interior is confusing combining sports bar tv, night club ceiling lights and blacked out windows. 2 spot lighted alcoves were empty. On all levels (food, service, ambience), it seemed unfinished.Xiang Cuisine is not visible from North Atlantic Blvd. The entrance is located in the back of Mar Center and on the upper level. Free parking, but many spaces are small.I went with friends who had heard about the 15% off discount. For a group of 8, we paid $14 each, which was really cheap, but if I were to go back paying full price, I would expect better food and service.
