2023-01-06 15:39:26Delicious beef noodle soup. You can taste the rich flavors and the time preparing the soup base. The noodle is not the common wide noodles used in other beef noodles. The side dishes are decent and served warm, though I personally prefer serve cold.We tried the stinky tofu which comes in its soup base. It is not deep fried which makes the fermentation flavor stronger and actually more effort to enjoy.

2022-10-19 21:01:12Authentic Taiwanese beef noodle spot. Perfectly balanced soup with tender beef. It’s right next to the famous Lan Zhou noodle house so it was honestly a little hard to find at first. But it’s literally right next to it so it’s easy to miss.We ordered the braised seaweed, egg, bean curd and garlic cucumber as a starter. We got the premium beef noodle and just a regular beef noodle. I would recommend the premium more just because it has some tendon on it so it makes it even chewier and for some reason the meat with tendon so much juicer and softer.I thought the soup base was very well balanced. Often times you can taste either the grossed pack more or the soy sauce but this one was right in the middle and hit the sweet spot. They also have the clear broth beef noodle so I will def try to get that next time as that is a little more difficult to perfect in flavor. We also go a side of stinky tofu which was also super good. For those risk takers out there this is Taiwans fermented tofu and it’s def acquired taste. But for those who like stink tofu I would highly recommend it!

2023-11-06 02:45:34This is the most authentic Taiwanese restaurant I have tried in LA. Beef noodles, dumplings, veggie and the sides are all pretty good. I have recommended to other Taiwanese friends and they all love it! The must go restaurant if you are craving for authentic Taiwanese food.

2021-08-19 03:14:30Awful experience. First time here and decided to try it because of the high reviews. Ordered their house special beef noodle and THERE WAS SO MUCH HAIR!!! first piece of hair was stuck to the tendon, second was on a piece of beef that seems to be marinated in. Third one was on my spoon when i was enjoying the soup. I continued eating because i did not expect to find ANYMORE hair however I was wrong and kept on scooping up more hair. Finally, decided to throw it away….Food is delicious however the level of hygiene here could be improved immensely. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND GROSS.

2023-06-02 19:30:51Good Taiwanese beef noodle. Its different from the one youll the Chinese noodle shop next door, but it has more herb flavor, milder, and less spicy. The soup can be a little hotter but not a big problem. Due to the enormous fridge and stock in the dining place, the atmosphere isnt the best but its not unusual to see that in a Asian restaurant.

2022-12-04 22:57:33Originally I was taking my family to dim sum nearby but discouraged with the waiting crowds outside. While heading towards the pho place and my daughter wanted to try Xiang Ji noodle restaurant. I’ve heard about its predecessor but not familiar with the name change. I ordered the braised platter, clear beef stew noodles and braised beef noodles. The platter is beautifully presented and the sauce is very good. The beef noodles are cooked perfectly. The meat and tendon melt in my mouth. The soup is delicious. On top of this, the server/hostess/staff are super friendly and quick. I highly recommend.
