Been craving soup dumplings for awhile.Glad i finally found this place.The people were kind and friendly too.We ordered the regular 7 pieces and another 2 that was special.I was wondering what the difference is with prices and now i get it:The two pieces that were more expensive were freshly made.The other 7 pieces were frozen.They did taste slightly better but both tasted very delicious.I even bought some to cook at home but we ended up overcooking it, the soup spilled. So definitely highly advise to just eat them at the restaurant 😄The soup beef and pork was very delicious.I got the beef and my buddy got the pork.Beef was tender and very delicious but the soup flavor was lacking. It did say no msg?! Haha so it was the healthy kind.Would go back again to try the pork soup. My fren liked them a lot.Definitely go back again!

Mingle’s Mango offers a new take on some traditional favorites. We enjoyed the items we ordered, which included the cucumber salad, Queen Crab XLB, Kurobuta XLB, Green Onion Pancake, Nightmarket Street King (chow mein) and Tenshinhan (fried rice).We’re all big fans of green onion pancake and Mingle’s has one of the best we’ve had. Crispy and tasty without the oily/greasy texture. We thought two orders would be enough for our part of five but we had to get a third order.The rest of the meal were standard fare with a slight variation. We were split on the nightmarket street king which I personally enjoyed but others thought it was on the sweet side. The Tenshinhan fried rice was a winner with its different twist on ingredients for a combination fried rice plate.Service was good and the owner was very friendly and informative as he explained some of the dishes to us. We need to make a return trip to try the wagyu beef noodle soup!

Best dumpling I ever had in U.S., give the fact I lived in various Chinese communities in California for years, authentic taste like those in my hometown, which is the area of soup dumpling originated from. The quantity of ingredients are very good. Strongly recommend!

The XLB here was really good! My favorites were the pork and the newbee (lobster and garlic) ones. I also highly recommend ordering the green onion pancake, it was super light and crispy. The owner is also super nice and friendly! The interior decoration is very fun if you like anime and they played a lot of music from games when we were there.I also accidentally left my bag there but I was able to get it back easily the next day, the owner was very nice about it and kept it safe for me. Id definitely come here more often if it wasnt such a far drive for me.

The wagyu beef noodle tastes awesome! We were told that the noodle is hand made every morning, and it tastes really good and fresh (it might be better if we can choose to add a little more noodle). It is the first time I have tried lobster soup dumplings, and they are tasty with a strong lobster flavor. The pork soup dumplings are also good.

Delicious food, prompt service and friendly staff. The environment is welcoming and I enjoy the vibe of the whole place. The soup with hand pulled noodles is delicious and the dumplings are fantastic. I went twice in less than two weeks when I discovered the new location on mission in Fremont. I will definitely return. Oh... and make sure to try the fungus salad.

XLB tastes awesome and definitely worth a try! Others were just okay and a little salty. The service is also a little slow.The decoration is pretty fun, with many Anime characters painted on the wall. The plate is also interesting, for example, there are bowl like Luffys hat.

I would rate 10 stars if I could! His food is beyond delicious and lingers on! I have been here multiple times and I havent had a single thing on the menu that isnt amazing!If you like anime then you must experience the atmosphere! Be sure to get a t-shirt souvenir! This is now our favourite soup dumpling restaurant in the Bay Area, almost as good as Sang-Ji in Toronto for me. The interior is a super cool comic theme, some of their tableware also have a comic theme, we saw a Ruffy hat bowl once. Their soup dumping and 生煎包 (fried dumpling) are very good and have many creative flavours, the fried dumpling came with a home made sake vinegar. 紅油抄手 (red oil wonton) and wagyu beef noodle were two of my other favourites. Wagyu beef rice was not that good though.

Food was delicious and the servers were friendly enough.Dumplings are very well made and you can see the chef making them. They were full of flavor and soup bursting out when you bite into them. We also ordered two noodle dishes that were good but a little too oily for my taste.Despite using the QR code to order they managed to forget our drinks until we asked for them and one entire dish. The dish we shouldve realized before leaving that we didnt get so thats our fault but considering there was no middle man to mess up our order that was disappointing.If youre in the area definitely worth a try but triple check that you actually get everything you ordered.

TL; DR: Dont go in with hungry stomach, you get all your food at once after every tables around you get their food in order.------Edit: just read some reviews, and just realized the owner/manager seems to be a bit delusional? Not every low-star reviews are aimed to destroy you/your business, nor from any competitors. Also, they seem to be unable to handle criticism.------Soup dumplings are aight, not super good but not bad at all...No wait to go in coz there were only 4 parties including us, but definitely not worth the wait though. We noticed that they got all their food in order, finished and left. It took us probably at least 30 minutes for 6-XLB to come out, and another 5-10 minutes for the Fried Pork Bun to come out.No high-chairs accommodate my toddlers, so its also hard to keep the hungry kids to sit still; no servers to check in with us, and they literally only run the food to tables. Meanwhile, the owner-looking guy checked in twice but mostly chatting with other customers.The vibe is manga, Japanese music/midi blasting. Its special but Im not a fan of it. Just makes me question the authentication of the food quality...

My friend recommended this store to me and Id totally agree that the Xiaolongbao is the best one Ive ever tried in the Bay Area. I would give 5 stars to the food alone. But I also agree with others the service could be better. I am a first time customer here and I was told I have to view the menu online. I didnt see a lot of items on the website (and you need to swipe up and down, and left and right so a bit confusing to me) I asked the server and she also seemed confused at my question and replied everything is there on the menu page and thats the whole conversation. She didnt mention any of the food they serve. I said okay and she left. And I am still not sure whether I am looking at the full menu. I think I am expecting some more words from her maybe she could introduce what food items they serve or make some recommendation. 3 stars for poor communication. I wouldnt have this problem if I have come before or I have the option to see the physical menu. Anyway I think I would order again online instead of dine in.

Definitely one of the best dumplings places I’ve ever ate it. Service was fantastic. The food was just simply incredible. The facility was clean and nicely decorated. The menu was pretty extensive and unique. They even had a little robot that delivered food. Highly recommend!

3 words: Artisan, creative, fun! It was a quick lunch for one, and I got the wagyu beef noodle soup. I wanted it to be less spicy, and this is the first time that my request is granted, and they separate the meal spicy beef soup and the clear broth noodle for me. I was able to adjust the spiciness myself. Lovely melt in your mouth tender beef! Free dessert - dark chocolate with hazelnut inside dumpling. Owner is energized and funny, the whole crew is courteous and kind, the atmosphere is fun! Will bring hubby back to try out the dumplings next time.

Best food and service I’ve ever had so far .. love the environment, Customer, and the restaurants Theme .. it’s amazing!! .. I live about 2-3 hrs away and every time I come here the food never disappoints on top of that the chef always checking up on you to make sure everything is good with the food and service. Food was pretty good but the chicken wings didnt have much meat on them, the flavor of both dishes I had was great. However, the service was non existent. You sit down and they bring you water, you order through a qr code, they bring food and then dissappear. Never checked in on me, and there were 2-3 guys there and only me eating there. They were bumping their house techno music loud and talking and cussing amongst themselves. Paid and left, never told thank you or asked how everything was.

Dont be fooled by the relatively low rating of this restaurant, it deserves much better than that. Just look at the negative reviews and its quite obvious that bad comments are left by a group of dishonest competitors who are trying to harm this business. In all honesty, comparing this restaurant to Din Tai Fung in Santa Clara, it would deserve 4.6 to 4.7. Its tastier, (much) bigger quantity, and cheaper.

Food is not our type. Fried rice is too saltish. Others are average. Many just the food style is not within our original expectation, since the name is similar to the previous Mango Island. This is not Malaysian/South East Asian cuisine if that is what you are looking for. Maybe more like a westernized/japanized (if there is such a word) version of mixed cuisine. Also, we went during a Friday lunch time. Seems lack of staff and nobody is looking/waiting if guests need anything. But if you call them from kitchen the chef/boss will help asap with good attitude.Will go next time to try other food and update but so far it is not favorable. Btw dishes are rather costly, nearly $20 for each plate.

Delicious, flavorful food in a really cool setting, and warm attentive staff. Even a cute robot helping with clean up. My husband and I visited this restaurant for dinner tonight. It was a bit busy but our food arrived quickly. We ordered the black fungus salad, kurobuto pork soup dumplings, Capricorn (lamb) soup dumplings, grandma braised pork noodle soup. Everything was so good! The dumplings were generously filled and some of the most flavorful I’ve had. The ONLY issue was that both the soup and the wood ear had a bit too much Sichuan peppercorn that after awhile it numbed our mouths too much to enjoy the food. Otherwise, it was just so freakin good. We will definitely go back.

I havent been dining in restaurants for long time since the start of the pandemic. Simply one of the best place, one can taste XiaoLongBao in the Bay Area. It was a fun experience visiting here with a couple of friends who know this type of food well. One of my friends noticed that each bun has 18 pleats and they are made by hands! The stuffing of buns is very big too. The owners must have put a lot of thought into it.

A well deserved 5 star rating. It was my 1st time here and it was literally off of a whim, the customer service was grade A from the moment I walked into the restaurant. Not only was he friendly, but also kind and courteous. Once he found out that it was my 1st time here, he suggested that I order the DRAGON BALL. Off rip I was sold on just the name alone even before he explained what it was. He also explained that it was best to eat it hot. Needless to say the dish was WONDERFUL, and the house sauce was amazing. From being to end it was a very fulfilling experience. Needless to say, but I will definitely be heading back to try other dishes.

Place has a very cool environment with anime on the walls and videos playing on a screen.Pot stiickers were okay very thin skin and tastes okay. Dry noodles were a little disappointing sauce was slightly on the sour side maybe they didnt mix it properly. The braised pork noodles though were amazing the pork was WOW! The classic kurobota pork soup dumpling is excellent here. Extra sturdy, paper thin skin, packed with a full spoon of savory broth inside. This is one of the top places for XLB in Fremont, which is saying a lot since the competition for authentic Shanghainese food is very stiff here. I have also tried their beef noodle soup, and that is excellent as well. They really do use quality ingredients. Only thing is that price is a bit high even for bay area standards. Eh whatever. $12 for 7 quality dumplings is worth the splurge. Also, an additional note is that their dragon dumpling is simply pan frying their XLB, which is different than the pan fried dumplings elsewhere with thicker, doughier skin and a crispier bottom.

Fun restaurant playing anime while serving dumplings, appetizers, and noodles. Good prices and nice selection for meat eaters, but only a few dishes for vegetarians. This restaurant is very delicious. The steamed buns are very authentic and have new products with unique flavors. I highly recommend the Neptune steamed buns and the black dolphin shrimp steamed buns. The pan-fried steamed buns are also delicious. The chicken wings are amazing, and the chicken bones are crispy and very fragrant.
