Seriously... this place never disappoints! Our sushi tonight, even when ordering 30 minutes before closing, was superb! We ordered a Philadelphia Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, and Egg Rolls... all spectacular! Honestly... none of that fall apart sloppy stuff. This is high class, 5 star sushi, even late at night! So good! Its not bitter... like over powering vinegar flavor... Just natural flavor. Very fresh tasting. Im just always pleased by their quality and taste. Thats all... order from here... whenever you want!
***WATCH OUT!! This restaurant is and it’s manager JAY are a bunch of thieves! I placed a order on Uber eats and forgot something to add. I called the restaurant literally within a min and the employee told me to cancel and reorder since the order has not been made. I contacted the restaurant a few days later and Jay said no problem and contact Uber. I did and they reached out to JAY and he told them the food was already made! JAY flat out lied to me saying he was gonna refund and then lied to Uber that food was made! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE WHEN I REORDERED WITHIN 3 MIN of first canceled order? TALK ABOUT MONEY HUNGRY!
Line was a little long, but it moved by pretty fast. The rolls were amazing and the fish tasted fresh. The rolls also came out pretty fast and 30$ was enough to get me full. Overall, it is a great place to go with a date or another friend but not a good place if you wanted to go with a big group of people.
My boyfriend & I come here all the time during the day for our little sushi dates. They’re always so nice to us & the waitress knows us as regulars. Haven’t been able to go recently due to all this quarantine stuff, but once we’re able to go out again this is always my first choice, also since it is in walking distance. Absolutely love it! And the California rolls are the best :•)

Their lunch specials are amazing! Ten dollars gets you not only two items of the lunch special menu but soup and salad. Its more than enough too. The portions are a good size and I was full after eating everything. A friend got the three items and wasnt even able to finish it. The three items is 13 dollars but it really is a good deal. Also we sat at the sushi bar part which was neat to see him making all the sushi. Very nice place, clean and very friendly. We stumbled upon this place by mistake as well. So Im glad we found it, I definitely recommend you to try this place out. Great food options and deals, and great food.
Im new to Cypress & saw their happy hour sign so my husband and I went to check it out. Im a picky eater and mostly stick to the same thing which is baked eel. I ordered the dancing eel roll which had shrimp tempura and let me tell you it was so damn good! I was definitely happy & we will be going again. I didnt get her name but our waitress was on top of things as well.
The only problem is they have lights above the ceiling fans that get very annoying after 2 mins. Other than that the food was great and quick during late lunch early dinner time.
Always very good, and super fresh. So far the best mid priced sushi spot Ive been to. I hit this spot up pretty frequently for lunch and dinner for special events so we can indulge in sake. The unfiltered is my favorite!
Discovered this place while doing Postmates. The names of their rolls sounded interesting! Tried and was not disappointed at all! My new favorite sushi spot! Also they have the best baked green muscles 🔥🔥🔥. Will be coming back to this spot often even though I live about 20 miles away.

My all time favorite Sushi Restaurant....Always fresh ...large menu with basic rolls as well as their own unique rolls .....Before the covid regulations I ate here for lunch 2 plus times a week and dinner once a week .. Sushi chefs are amazing! Love Sean as weve known him years My other favorite chef is late 20s, local graduate from Kennedy high ...ALWAYS smiling and fun energetic personality. Big plus for this place are late hours ..even now for take out only! Cant wait until they open for dine in again!

So normally I would have given a 4 or 5 out of 5. But having spent $60 to have one of my sashimi orders (salmon) partially frozen and found a couple of bones in it. And the bones I can understand, but the partially frozen part gets me, and when I called to inform them of the situation I was met with a bland okay... Not an Im sorry for any inconvenience or we apologize.....seems like courtesy is only applicable to dine in situations.
I am so sad they took away their Candy Roll and Spicy Tuna Tempura; those were our favorite rolls and we bought a TON from them during the lockdown. The staff dont even know why theyre gone. If they bring them back, Ill provide 5 stars. ☹😭💔
I ordered from this place a few times through postmates. The first time my order was completely wrong. Today, I ordered and they cancelled my order!! WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! I called to ask why, she stated that they charge 0.50 for extra eel sauce. I asked why when I have ordered from there before and was NEVER charged. She had an attitude so I just hung up and decided to leave a review here for everyone to see instead since I the customer service at this place is horrible. I love sushi but I will NEVER order from here again!
We ordered about $75 worth of food last night for a family dinner. We got it to go. Ordered two separate orders of California roll. When I got there to pick it up, there was a menu at the front desk. They were not allowing people to dine in, so there was a table right at the entrance where you had to stand. The very young girl told me they were still preparing my sushi and it would be another 5 to 10 minutes. At the bottom of the menu in very bold print it said 2021 SPECIAL. BUY 2 GET ONE FREE SUSHISo of course, I asked if I could get a free order of sushi for the 2021 Special.I swear.. this is how the exchange pretty much went. She said Oh, no you cant do that. I stared at her. I said Why not? She said Oh, well we cant do that because you already ordered. I said, How many orders did I place over the phone? She said two. So I pointed to the printing and said but it says Buy two get one free, so can I get the free one? She said, Oh, no you cant do that now. I said Why not? She said because you already ordered. I said, Yes but thats the special. She said I know but you had to order it all at the same time. I said, why? She said, Because thats the only way you can get the special. I said, what does it matter? Youre still making the sushi. She said I know but you had to order it all at the same time. I said, But why does it matter? She said, Well you just cant do that. I stopped conversing with her because of the frustration of the conversation.I took some stuff out to the car, came back to pick up the rest of it, and then asked her Well, why did you not tell me about the special over the phone when I ordered? You were the person I talked to right? She said Yes. I said Well how come you did not tell me about the special? And she said, Well I thought everybody knew about it already.Im thinking, why the heck would she think that somebody who is ordering dinneri over the phone think that we would already know about the special? There are about a dozen sushi places within a 5-mile radius of Los alamitos, and there is about 100,000 people that live in that area.I was about to explode, so I did not continue the conversation any further.
My boyfriend and I have made it a weekly tradition to come here. The owner is awesome and the employees are friendly and always on top of it. Let’s not forget half off sake when Dodgers play!
This local fave never fails to satisfy my random craving for spicy tuna roll.. Always fresh with the perfect amount of heat.Tried the Garlic Albacore salad and was fantastic, if you like garlic.
I actually really liked this placei reccomend trying their spicy garlic endamame, whos your daddy jalapeno bomb and i cant remember which rolls we tried but it was 4 different ones and none disappointed. The server was super attentive, cute and sweet 👍thank u guys
After being in Hinesville, Ga for 4 years it’s great to be back home and this sushi is the best sushi so far. Open Late, available in GrubHub, just the quality of this shushi is fantastic. Last but definitely not least, to the itamae keep up the great work. I hope Dine In is available soon.
Tasty! Carpaccio was great, had yellowtail, but nice to have a choice. Pink Ranger roll was good, but the Kiss of Fire was excellent and I would definitely consider it one of the best rolls Ive had. Tempura was hot and fresh as well, and we were excited to see the lunch pricing - we were there at a late Sunday dinner, but will be back for lunch!

Only thing it was a little pricey, but we would rather have quality sushi once in a while. Would come back again!Would have appreciated less TVs as there were 3 and I like going to places where my little one would focus more on his meal.Yellowtail sashimi -was melt in your mouth succulent.Albacore carpachio- had jalapeno and another spicy seasoning on it. Pretty tasty if youre ok w spicy.Classic combo- good, nothing special. Ordered it for a kid.Mango salmon- loved the ratio of salmon to mango and appreciated that the mango was ripe.Bamboo roll- we liked that everything stayed together easily without falling apart considering it was in soy paper. 2022-09-15 01:59:24The stinky roller is probably my favorite. They have really good roles there. Ranging from anywhere from 15 to $20 a roll. Anybody will find something that they like here. They also have sashimi some good rice dishes as well

However it is a very small place so we only get takeout and it can be inconsistent depending on what you order otherwise Id give it 5 stars. Go with the Yellow Ranger roll if you like salmon.

When I got it home and opened it, (about 4 or 5 minutes later) it smelled so fishy and gross that I had to throw it out. Sushi should not smell like that! What a waste of $14.00. 😔

2018-12-07 18:39:17This is tuff for me to review.Sushi that is open late in orange county versus a similar offering in Los Angeles is not the same .The quality and price for services in Orange county is difficult to compare because of what is recived in Los Angeles.Let me say it is open lateNot the worst sushi nor the best sushi. I worrie about places that are not crazy busy but maybe it is usually busy I was just there when it was slow.Staff was super cool for us arriving very late in the day.Place was clean and well put together better than what is found in Los AngelesParking is rigth out frontGood for date nigth or a group of friends .Easy to notice from trafficPrices seem ok .Had an ok time here

2017-11-22 05:29:02Im not sure why the ratings are as high as they are, maybe the locals love it.. it just seemed like a typical sushi spot to me, nothing was particularly special or exceptional in any way. We ordered nearly every single thing the server recommended on the menu, and it was all regular. Service was good not exceptional, atmosphere was ok. I cant give more than the three stars because they didnt give me a reason to. Maybe the locals like it or something, I dont get it. Seared ahi tuna salad, was alright.
