Food is good. Great flavors and veggies. My only complaint is my order today, the gyro meat was not shaved thin and not roasted. I was hoping for a true Gyro... Thin sliced and nice caramelization on the meat... It was cooked and had good flavor I just hope they train the staff to let the meat cook more on the flame and slice thinner. Would hate to loose this place.

Great restaruant and great food! customer service is great! i believe the person that took my order was named ali. he offered me great customer service and even served my food to my table. he even checked up once or twice making sure everything was great and to see if i needed anything. the other workers are super friendly as well and this is a place i’ll definitely come back to soon! yafa is the way to go!!!

My husband and I ordered Falafel Wraps and we liked the way they put them together with vegetable layers, Falafel balls, hummus, sauce, etc. they were very well stuffed and large; so they cut them in half and I saved my other half for lunch. Everything in this place looks and its tasty. The place looks clean and organized and they keep busy. I recommend this place if you like Mediterranean food😉😋We came back 2 days ago and then again food was delicious and a guy named Morgan was very very nice with my husband and I and gave us some samples to try their menu and it was delicious 😋 He even posed for some pictures and a video I took😊 Thanks Morgan🤗👋🏻we are coming back again and again if God allows 🙏🏻

Excellent food and service. Right when we walked in we were greeted and offered samples. I was interested both the shawarma and the falafel and so they made a combo for me. The falafel was super fresh. Very impressed all around. Will visit again.

Recently, it looks like the restaurant went through change of ownership or staff. Falafel doesn’t have the quality anymore. If you check the inside of the falafel you will notice it’s yellowish not greenish like it was in the past. This is a sign of low quality ingredients which tells me that the new manager is trying to save money. This specific restaurant was exceptional with inside greenish good falafel. Not anymore.

First time here and will definitely be back. Everything tastes like real food that was made with love. We had bowls with kale salad, falafel, dolmas, tahini, garlic sauce...it was amazing. They offer so many choices that you will find something to please everyone. Lots of baklava and the very best customer service. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. My new favorite place.

My Brother brought me here about 6 months ago and today is my first day back (I came solo this time). I ordered the back home style, a falafel wrap and the lentil soup. For dessert I had the pistachio baklava.I know it sounds like a lot but I fast 20 hours a day and this was me breaking my fast (I eat one large meal a day). By far one of the best meals Ive had in the past year and easily my new favorite restaurant. Great service, nice positive energy in the place. I wish I could give 8 stars.

As you can see 4.9 stars is probably the best rating any restaurant can ever request. You alway get that one or two weirdos who want to complain because they dont know the background or what to order. This place is hands down a must go to place. Fresh and from scratch. The food is as close to home cooking as possible. As a matter of fact severl members of my family refuse to cook and tell me to just go to Yafa. Amazing people and the love that they have is reflected through the flavors and taste of the food. I get so anxious to eat that I remember to take pictures after Im done. Go there!!!!!

*As of April 2020, open for take-out*I called 15 minutes ahead to order food, but ended up waiting for a bit longer for my food inside the store. Staff is super friendly, please tip them.We ordered a Gyro Bowl with baba ganoush, spicy hummus and Greek salad (great value, so much meat!), and a Back Home Style chicken wrap. And of course we always get the falafels because they are the best in town!They offer some creative dessert and fresh Baklava too!Tip: Ask from extra garlic sauce!

We hadnt had a bad experience here until this day, the guy who took our order I dont know his name but he was one of the youngest (he wore a backwards sf giants cap) since we started our order he showed disinterest and arrogance, my husband is very patient but this time he had to ask are you new? because he was looking everywhere except us, he said that he was not new and was even more rude, we even had to remind him if he could enter our number for rewards (usually the first thing they ask us).We have known this place for years, we like their food we drive from another city to eat here and we always recommend it to friends and family, the treatment we received from this person today was very disappointing.

Mixed feelings about this one. I’ll start with the good. The falafels were very tasty, flavorful and crisp. However they were very small. Now the bad, the hummus was GROSS! Tasted super metallic and chemically. Im not sure if it was the batch or if that how it normally taste but it tasted like it went bad. I’ll come back for the falafels, but im never trying that hummus again. YUCK

Came here as a result of a promo they do with Tracy HS Football. Otherwise would never have chosen this place. I thought this was a smart marketing strategy of theirs. I prefer businesses who support our kids. With so much food competition these days a restaurant needs to do all they can to get noticed. The staff is super friendly and attentive and they will walk you through the menu if you have no idea what the items are or what is in it. I was struggling to carry my pick up order and the cashier offered to help me to the car which is such a surprise kind gesture from any restaurant Ive been to in Tracy. The food is so juicy and tasty not like many other places around the Central valley. I usually get my Mediterranean fix by driving to the Bay area but this is hands down my go to place now. Baklava is also sold here its been a hit or miss for me on these though, most specifically with the Walnut ones. They also offer a little baklava Tray of 12 for $20 in the case you just want the dessert. Other than that, this minor miss this place is amazing. For the bigger bang for your buck meal Id suggest their bowls. yall need to try this place out...also if the owner is reading this, Im going to go broke eating at this joint it would be awesome if you offered loyalty cards for returning customers! 😉🤣

The cashier was welcoming, great customer service the entire time I was there. when I told him it was my first time he walked me through the menu, THEY HAVE VEGAN & VEGETARIAN OPTIONS....SO EXCITED!! I got the falafel wrap and came back a second time to order it again because it was THAT delicious. Even my second visit I had a different cashier and his customer service was great as well. I have a severe intolerance to gluten, it is similar to a food allergy. The staff are always accommodating and are extra careful not to cross contaminate my food. My wife loved it. The flavors were the most authentic you can find. I think they have had the chain since 1951 and the original menu is there with classic Palestinian recipes. There were also modern twists to the traditional hummus and falafel. The employees were very courteous and patient despite the crowd!

I stopped by after trying 3 chain restaurants and finding long waits. My food was prepared quickly and was served hot. I had a shawarma wrap served back home style. I asked for spicy and it did not disappoint. The flavors were so good and bold without being too much. There was a gentleman there who was very engaging and was genuinely interested in us having a good experience. My wife had a hummus bowl with chicken and a Greek salad. She had a side of kale slaw and cabbage mixture. We exchanged items to taste and both agreed that everything was extraordinary delicious. We dont live in Tracy but will definitely be back when we go out that way.

I have been to the shopping center where yafa hummus is located at many times but I never stopped here to eat. Today after a long week if hard work I decided to stop here. When I saw their 5 star ratings I knew this place is gonna be my new favorite place to have lunch. Their many is simple and easy to read and order.I ordered their back home style wrap which has chicken shawarm as its meat. The wrap is then cut into bite pieces and is served with a sauce. The bites are a but spicy but they will ask how spicy you want it to be. Food is fresh and very flavorful. You can pretty much taste every ingredient that has been used to make the wrap.I also ordered some baklava which was also fresh and delicious.As for service, it was just as great as their food. Friendly people with smiling faces.All in all I highly recommend this place whether youre in a mood for wrap or a bowl or just want some falafel.

We have been a regular fan of this restaurant, especially my wife but never wrote a review.The restaurant itself is very clean with a friendly atmosphere. As soon as you enter the staff greats you as part of their family.They usually post a special which is written on a chalkboard. I had the falafel wrap and had it prepared with a spicy mayo type sauce. It has a somewhat crunchy, sweet taste with a little bit of kick.Of course the Baklava was very good with a flaky sweet nutty flavor. Overall a very good experience.

Yafa Hummus is the place to go when you want a healthier option for your meal.Ive been here twice already, and Ive ordered tried their chicken plate and their falafel wrap. Both are very good.I got my chicken plate with hummus, rice, and salad along with their tahini and garlic sauces. Its definite filling. The chicken was moist, and I love the kick of the garlic sauce.The falafel wrap was just right to satisfy me. I wasnt very hungry, but needed something in my belly to stop me from getting hangry. I got the wrap with the tahini sauce, but next time Im adding the garlic sauce. I put a little of their hot sauce in it, and whoo! My mouth was on fire (in a good way)! A little of the hot sauce goes a long way. Im not too weak when it comes to spicy food, so maybe their hot sauce is right for those who like things really spicy.And I recommend getting baklava. I prefer it plain, but you could add Nutella to it for an extra cost, if available.Theres not a lot of seating as the place is small. But turnaround time is quick. And service is fast and friendly.The last time I was there, their Fivestars app wasnt working, so I missed out on some major points. Hopefully its up and running again the next time I go.

Im not at all familiar with Mediterranean food, so the cashier gave me a little guidance as to what to choose. And I will admit that the chicken bowl that I ended up with was really good. For me, it seemed to be 2 meals in one. In my bowl, I chose the chicken schwarma with tzaziki sauce, pesto hummus, white rice, and the Mediterranean salad. The salad and hummus went well with the pita bread that was included, and Im saving the chicken and rice for another meal. This is definitely a place I will visit again soon.

A new Mediterranean venture in Tracy leaning on the cool / Hip side with some traditional shawarma swirling around. The decor is nice & service is commendable.The menu is broadly on three criteria side, Sandwich, Bowl with pretty much all the available options intermingling with each other at one stage or other.Now the Food : Shawarma / Gyro is fresh swirling around the heat but other than most of the items are pre-made be it salads, tabouleh, dolma, Baba Ganoush etc. Pita breads are pre-packed ones & baklava are in the front display.You can pretty much combine them with sauces like Tahini, Garlic etc & the owners are good enough to suggest a perfect fit.Though most of the stuffs are pre-made they have a lot of options for both Veg & Non-Veg lovers.BUT most of the stuffs have a very typical & common sour taste be it the salad or the sauce or the hummus. So, your Taste buds turn numb with the same palette. Being a new venture probably they are still working on finding the right mix of different ingredients but sooner they find a distinct taste the better.CONS : FALAFEL I am so used to made to order falafels at other places, that fried golden brown crispy balls with melt in your mouth taste is missing here. Specifically when the name carries hummus on it, expectation are at an all time high.
