Yak and Yeti restaurant in Napa

My family has been here twice. The food is really good! The portions are a bit small, but the price reflects that. Please note if you order mild, it means no spicy at all. If you like spicy food, at least go for medium. Since this was the first time we were here, we had no clue. You dont find Nepalese restaurants often so it was nice.

Absolutely delicious Nepalese dishes! Clean bathrooms, great service! The kukuhru chicken and eggplant was to die for! The lamb biriyani rice was aromatic and breathtaking!

One of our favorite restaurants in Napa. Consistently exceptional food! We stop in for lunch & dinner occasionally and get takeout dinner all the time. Some standout dishes: chef’s special chat, chicken + veggie momos, chicken tikka masala, chicken & eggplant, saag paneer, biryani, garlic cilantro naan. But honestly everything I’ve tried has been delicious. If you’ve never tried Nepalese food, give it a shot! My family always requests it when they’re in town.

Such a lovely experience. It was my first time eating Nepalese food and I loved it. Best dish was the lamb with potato and spinach curry. It was cooked and spiced so well. The dish had several layers to it. The staff was so nice and we were very well taken care of. The momo sauce and the momos were great.

Such a lovely place. We walked in and were greeted and sat within no time. We went very close to their closing time. Ordered the momo’s (ofcourse), the sizzling chicken tandoor. The momos were bomb. The sauce was soooooo good. 5+ and defo would come back again for the momos. The tandoori came out sizzling and piping hot. Very juicy, tasty. The sauce on this was soo good too. Would def come back.

Delicious Indian food! I got the tandoori multi plate with 3 meats, and while it could have been spicier (even for my white mouth) it was absolutely delicious mixed with raita and brown rice and naan, truly took me to mouth heaven. It was my first time trying salmon at an Indian restaurant and it did not disappoint! The steak was also cooked to a perfect medium rare and everything was just delicious. The service was great too, will definitely be back next time Im in town.

I am thouroughly impressed by all of the flavors of each dish I tried. I have NEVER found an Indian/Nepalese restaurant that I liked for I am not a fan of spice, but I loved every dish I tried and I kept wanting more. It was all cooked perfectly wasnt spicy to where it burned your tastebuds off. You could taste all the individual ingredients and of every dish. Highly suggest this place. Thank you much!

Yak and Yeti is one of the best restaurants in Napa, hands down. Been coming here for years and every single time I try that lamb Tikka misala, it blows my mind. They have best Himalayan dishes Ive ever had. Pakuras, samosas, momos, curries.. Every dish Ive had is amazing. The owners are so kind and welcoming too. Give this place a try!!

Yak and Yeti is one of those places where you wish there was a higher star rating available to separate it from others. The taste of the curries, samosas, tandooris but more than anything the tikka masalas are heavenly ! The rich buttery taste of the sauce with perfect amount of spiciness leaves its flavorful, delicious mark in your mouth after it finds its way to there at the end of the soft buttery naan, and it is that taste that makes us want to come back and eat here anytime we visit Napa!It is so good, you crave to go back there after a while.The service is friendly, the ambiance is cool, peaceful, the prices are right. If you are around, give it a try and i am sure you will get hooked if you love Asian food.
