Yang Kee Dumpling in Davis

This place is ABSOLUTELY delicious! The soup dumplings are the bomb! Everything we ordered are very flavorful and fresh. They even have Hong Kong lemon tea凍檸茶! My dad LOVES their濕炒河粉and 蝦餃！Ordering Egg tart for dessert is a must!!

Probably the most authentic Chinese food Ive had. Every dish was perfectly made and it was very clean inside. The menu was simple and straightforward and youll definitely want to order the pork soup dumplings in addition to the salt and pepper spare ribs!

Really love this place! The food was perfectly seasoned and warm. The sautéed green beans were super flavorful, the best I’ve had. Their soup dumplings and mapo tofu were also really well seasoned. I would only suggest more rice with the tofu dish to balance it out. The service was super fast and the waiters were really kind and attentive. Didn’t need to wait at all on a Saturday afternoon. Can get crowded for dinner on weekends. Highly recommend!

Didn’t expect to find such authentic Chinese cuisine around here, but this place was a pleasant surprise. The Xiaolongbao was a standout, super juicy and just packed with flavor. The pork ribs were nothing short of amazing - they had this perfect crispiness on the outside and were tender on the inside. Definitely coming back next time the craving for good Chinese food hits.

My husband and I were headed to the Bay Area, but we were hungry, and I didnt want fast food. My husband found this restaurant while at the charging station in the same parking lot a few weeks ago, and Im glad he did. We ordered sautéed green beans, salt and pepper spareribs, and the wonton chili oil. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. If youre in Davis, you have to stop and try this restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive. Ill definitely go back to Yang Kee Dumpling!

The food came out piping hot. The soup dumpling was super juicy and both the skin on the soup dumpling and chili wontons were thin. I also ordered the sauteed green beans and I did not like the garlic slur that was used, but that could be a personal preference. The waitress was on top of it! Knew when to come by to take our order, and was super attentive to refilling our tea pot. Not even half an hour after opening on a Friday afternoon and the restaurant was filled already.

Its a hit every time! Delicious dumplings- a true gem in Davis. Its not every day you find an authentic dumpling house with sleek modern ambiance. Love the big glass windows looking into the kitchen where the chefs are always making the next batch of fresh steamed dumplings. The food is amazing and really hits the spot.

They make their dumplings on site. My only issue is they could make the dough thinner. But everything was delicious, and I especially was impressed with the salt and pepper fish.

Best dumpling place in the area. Got HK shumai, pork soup dumplings, har gow and house special fish fillet. All of them tasted really fresh and flavorful. The place had good ambience and we liked the interior decor.Just that it was a really hot day and not sure if the AC was working properly.

My family and I really enjoyed our dinner at Yang Kee Dumpling. What set this place apart was the clear view of the prep area where everyone in the restaurant can watch the staff prepare fresh dumplings!!!Dumplings!!!!
