They just opened the Taste of Thai Fusion a month ago (December 2023). The original restaurant from before Covid was a fan favorite, and this one is well on its way. The chef - Freddy - is also the same one as before.Huge portions (one order is good for 1.5-2 ppl) and yummy food at a very reasonable price. Even if they slowly increase the price or decrease the quantity as the restaurant matures, it will be a good deal.The food is spicy, as Thai restaurants should be, so beware of chili levels 3 and 4. And service was friendly, and far faster than the old establishment 😀 as we got our food within 25 min.Only complaint is that the Pad Thai noodles looked very greasy (as is often the case for Thai street food), though they tasted fine.

Yangtses Taste of Thai was really good!I was greeted by a quirky, cut-to-the-chase waiter who helped get me seated and in preparation to order. Because of the nature of Thai cooking, it can be quite spicy to downright hot; with this, the waiter made sure the level of spice I ordered in my meal was of a good assessment.I was quickly brought all that I ordered, which consisted of Crispy Orange Chicken, a small white rice, and a Dr. Pepper. Everything was great; I got the chicken 3/4 spicy-it was tasty and not overly salty. The rice was clean and sticky, if that makes sense. The soda was refreshing and crisp. The plate was served with a type of dipping sauce which was excellent.In addition to a delicious meal, the staff was courteous enough to ask how I was enjoying it. They also take great pride in their establishment by how the approach the cooking and desire to maintain high fidelity through how the chefs are selected and trained.My first experience here was thoroughly enjoyable. I look so forward to going back!

In loving Memory of Yangtse. I miss the original place but the new Taste of Thai Fusion brought it all back. Absolutely wonderful memories rekindled by delicious dishes with unique flavors. It’s all about the Strawberry Chicken! If you know, you know 😉

WOW!! I was so surprised by this restaurant! The atmosphere was so cozy; you could tell a lot of love went into building this place up. Kind, humble and humorous staff. Their panang was spiced to perfection- creamy sweet with beautiful large cut pieces of vegetables. The Thai noodles came with one of the best peanut sauces Ive ever had. Plus their Thai tea was served in a generously sized goblet-style cup. Everything was delicious, and will be still- those portions were huge! Ive got extra yummy leftovers for days!💕

My coworker and I went to have lunch at this place. It is only couple blocks from our workplace. We got there at 12:10 pm. As soon as we got to the place, I observed only 4 tables of 2 people each having lunch, the rest of the place was empty. We wait for about 5 minutes to get a table and get acknowledge from the waitress. We sat and another 5 minutes till another waitress that we never thought he worked there, took our order. The time was 12:20 pm. The waitress took several minutes to bring our drinks and then our soups and then the condiments. For the amount of people at the place you expected the service to be faster now that all these people were already eating when we got there so how come we got our meals at 12:55 pm. And when we looked at the clock, we asked the waitress that we need the food to go and he said and I quote you place it in a To GO box so this man, brought me the food to the table and then a box to place my meal when we told him to put them to go and belive me he was not nice whatsoever!!!!! I got to my work late. Anyways, food was DISGUSTING! There is no other word to describe it. Its basically eating noodles with lots of oil and flavorless. I got a very orange watery peanut sauce which did not help at all nor the chilli sauce or the soy sauce. It was very very very bad dish (Pad Thai). Just a few minutes ago, my co-worker told me hey I did not like the food. I threw up and it was gross. Never ever will come back to this place. What a disappointment

Fish and seafood soup plate is the best in the world. If you like a Mexican marisquera or a 7 mares, this is what you want to eat.

Food is good and affordable, place is nice and staff are friendly. The pad Thai is delicious and the serving was big.

First time coming to a thai place for quite a while. The food was delicious! I had the coconut soup with tofu and it was on point. It was spicy yet enjoyable. The customer service was great! And we even got a delicious dessert on the house since it was my husbands birthday. 🎊🎉 I am not from Salinas, but if I was, I would definitely make this my to go Thai place.

So good! We went as a party of four and didnt realize dishes were served family style. Portions are huge! We each ordered a dish, and couldve gotten by with half that! The food was delicious. We got the Caribbean chicken, Panang curry shrimp, drunken chicken&shrimp, and what was my favorite, the four seasons pasta. The service by the owner was excellent. Shes very friendly and accommodating. In the end, she treated us to the fried banana dessert. Yum! Cant wait to go again.

Great food and service. The spicy cauliflower and coconut shrimp are favorites.If you order on the website be prepared to wait a long time. I ordered at 6:55pm went to pick up around 7:30 but they said another half hour because they just got my order. Its 8:15 and Im still waiting.Food is great but service is not quick. Make sure you are not hungry or in a hurry.
