Ordered takeout from here and the food was great! Delicious Chinese food. Will definitely be coming back. We ordered the general chicken, spicy popcorn chicken, hunan beef, Mongolian lamb and salt and pepper fish. All great choices. Staff members over the phone and during pick up were also very pleasant to interact with.

Delicious Chinese food in downtown San Carlos! There arent too many Chinese food options around in San Carlos, so we were glad to find one that tasted pretty authentic. Their braised tofu sizzling plate and fish filet dry pot were tasty and filling. The interior was modern and clean, and service was good. Overall, a great spot to grab a bite.

Came here a long time ago on vacation, and had to come back! I ordered the dan dan noodles both times, really like them. The smoked duck is super tender, crispy skin. Love the vibes and service is fast and friendly.

We found this cute Chinese restaurant in San Carlos with very sweet amiable servers. Food is really good!!! I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the beef chow mein, the noodles cooked perfectly. The Squirrel Crispy Fish is excellent! The Prawns with snow peas is great! The peas were nice and crispy. Also ordered the pot stickers. We will definitely be back and thats coming from a restaurant snob 😂. I definitely call myself a foodie and this is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Bay Area!!!

Service was absolutely amazing. Such sweet servers. Delicious food. It wasn’t too hot or Cold AT ALL. The boba was scrumptious. We were impressed. I came with my daughter and she loved the heart shaped jellies she ordered her with the boba. Truly recommend this place for a dinner or lunch! It’s soooo good 👏🥰. And prices are VERY reasonable!! Again, food was so delicious

Nice place for a Chinese meal. The food is good and the portions are good sized. The staff is friendly and helpful. They offer carryout service and do quite a business. No liquor but beer and wine appeared to be available.

I had a delivery, they were fast, but I couldnt eat the lobster roll. Its a piece of grease covered with something over the role, which is disgusting. The roll was large and hollow without anything in it except for a few crumbs of something. Unfortunately, the general tsos chicken had absolutely no juice to put on the rice. What a total waste of money.

The San Francisco Bay Area is known for great Chinese Food. I myself have indulged on a regular basis at a variety of seemingly authentic Chinese Cuisine. Quality is not strong enough of a word to describe how excellent Yans Garden is at satisfying the craving for great Chow Mein Noodles, Mongolian Lamb, Spicy Tofu and beyond. There is just not enough days in the year to enjoy every ounce of perfection that the Yans Garden Menu has to offer. I kindly invite Yans Garden to open a sister restaurant under any name anywhere off the strip in Las Vegas. I recommend somewhere near the Red Rock Casino Hotel in the business district! We need real Chinese Food In Las Vegas for the locals and regular visitors.

Did a quick search after a long day, and had a stop in for dinner.we were the only guests in house, but took the steady Togo traffic as an indicator. It was a good call. Appetizer, soup, and a shrimp and chicken dish to share at the table, all was on point. Staff was very friendly. Would eat here again.

Overall the quality and authenticity of the food was quite good. It was not a great idea to eat the sizzling eggplant while sitting outside under the sun. Seems like they were quite occupied with making boba tea during the 3-4pm time frame. Will give them the benefit of the doubt because of the food. Will update when I visit again. 5 stars for now.

I love this place. Nice people and great food. I especially love their won ton soup! Beef book choy chow fun has been a favorite of mine for decades and they do a good job making it for me! We usually get it to go, but eating in is fine too!

The food is disgusting. I think it need to be investigated cause when i was there to pick-up an food order i cleared heard a cat crying loud coming from some area inside the restaurant. I hope they are not killing cats to eat them.

I wish i can choose 0 stars. I ordered Kun Pao Chicken because my kids love it, everywhere we go we order Kun Pao, but this one from Yan’s was very very salty you can’t even eat it. So disappointed.

Ive been going here for years, both take away and eat in. Hong Kong crispy noodles, and dry braised green beans with shredded pork are my favourites. But when I have hot and sour soup, or really almost any other dish I order less frequently, Ive been very pleased. There are closer places, and definitely more trendy places, but this is where I go.

Bright and clean dining area. Friendly staff are very welcoming. The service is very prompt. The food is great! Take out is packaged in sturdy containers-no leaking! It is a good value for the price and enjoyable eating in or taking away.

I came here for an uber order and kitchen is really slow actually I ask few times about my order in 20 minutes everytime he told me we are packing rn and everytime he said 5 minutes rn 30 minutes and I get my order this is unprofessional kitchen and unprofessional cashier he even didnt check the kitchen he didnt ask just he is saying 5 minutes 5 minutes do u think 5 minutes is 30 minutes in your time ? Even I will tell my each friends to about bad reviews to your restaurant bc Im trying to make money and youre lying me in the busy time in the food time Im trying to make money but Im losing money bc of your store if u was telling me you have to wait 30 minutes I was canceled but you guys just told me 5 minutessss !!!

Have been going to Yans for about 11 years now, even though we moved away from San Carlos years ago. Parking on Laurel can be challenging, but were willing to put up with it for their friendly service and well-prepared, fresh food. Love the Wor Wonton soup!
