Went there for Sunday Night Football and got a table for 6 people. Went there around 5 P.M. and got a table within seconds. Fast service and a friendly host. The food is on point and it was quick to order. A very chill atmosphere with a welcome cast. The patio is big enough for a grand party. A very nice spot for any occasion.

I had the chicken avocado sandwich, it was moist and flavorful with generous amount of avocado. The poke salad was good as well. Our waitress was great, friendly and efficient.

A great place to eat with a nice atmosphere.An informal place to grab a drink with family, friends, or colleagues.Service from our waiter was better than average but nothing perfect or extraordinary.Their tablet is useful for service when you need your waiter for food, payment, or anything else.There was plenty of American classics.

We visited for an early dinner and stuck to ordering items off of the appetizer menu and splitting one dish as well. we individually ordered a carnivore (meat lover) pizza and a margherita pizza along with their chicken nachos. each of these dishes were hot, fresh tasting and a great portion size for what we paid. our server, clinton, was very nice, quick and attentive to our needs. we also asked for beer recommendations and he helped us narrow it down to pick what we wanted to drink as well.

Our favorite happy hour place! Come here from 3pm-6pm and enjoy half off on appetizers and $2 off on cocktails. It gets packed as early as 4pm as everyone has the same idea of doing happy hour but you will get seated quickly.Our servers here are always the nicest and very accommodating. They get our drinks fast and our appetizers even faster. Try their pizzas, nacho, onion ring tower, calamari, chicken tenders.My favorite drink here is their long island iced tea and sunset sangria.

Great place to hang with friends and family. Only complaint is that the vodka and salad I ordered were Incredibly small and waaaayyy too expensive!!!! Ok to come here if you have money to spend and throw around but definitely not for me.

Ive been coming to this place for years and I really enjoy the energy and the vibe. Ive been to a couple other yard house locations but this one is very different. This hands down is one of my favorite spots here in Carlsbad and the employees are terrific. Neier & Adam are so badass, down to earth & attentive, to where even if I hated the food (its awesome) Id come back just because of the employees. Management clearly does a very excellent job of making sure the employee morale is very high because they are very happy employees and even happier customers! Thank you guys!

It was the first time we went during a non-busy period. Drinks were cold and the ones we liked from the flight were tasty. You can ask for a splash if you just want a sip to see if you like it. Or a flight if you want to try a larger variety of drinks. Our service was a little slow and dry so I knocked a star down.

Yard House is always a solid happy hour spot. A year or two ago they killed the late night happy hour entirely and then finally brought it back but it applies to drinks only so thats disappointing. Besides that everything is generally as expected of a Yard House with solid food and beer options. I love the food, yesterday the server was amazing and the back up staff was unbelievable! They cleaned up plates so I don’t have to look at empty plates or dirty dishes, today is so so really busy only at happy hour but everyone is trying hard to keep the peace! I have noticed a change in the food at the Yard House in the last couple of years. The food is just “ok” now, it doesn’t really taste unlike Denny’s . The appearance is that they just through it together and served it to the customer. Today we got 4 Cheese Spinach Dip with crackers and tortilla chips that were broken and the dip barely covered the bottom of the shallow 4” dish, not even enough for one person let alone 2. I also had the Margarita Pizza which was good but also looked like it was thrown together in a rush. The most annoying thing was someone kept turning the channels and the music. The music was pretty loud and they were playing Guns n Roses, Green Day and other heavy metal. I usually sit on the patio because the inside especially around the bar can be loud but today it backfired.

It was just average.Chips and guacamole came with like 7 chips. They had an extra order that nobody claimed so they also gave it to us, which was nice because we really needed extra chips.We asked for an extra piece of chicken for the kale salad and got charged for the extra piece but never got it. When we asked the server, she said “well you got extra chips and guacamole” ok-but not what we asked for.The Korean cheesesteak was ok, not great.The saving grace was they have ace space blood orange cider.

The Yardhouse in Oceanside is meh because... Slow service.First of all, this restaurant received the 3 🌟 rating not because of quality of food or quantity of food, but because of the slow service. When you visit this restaurant during Happy Hour you will be happy to get so much yummy food for such an affordable price. Where things go awry is when you wait 30 mins for a To-Go box, or wait 20 mins for a drink refill, or wait 45 mins to pay for your check. The service here is just slow. With that said, the waitresses were are nice, polite, helpful, and patient, but their overall performance is really slow. I honestly think the slow services is due in part to staffing assignments per section.The food is truly delicious - especially when it is at Happy Hour prices. There is plenty of food to order and the details of the food as per the menu hit the spot for whatver it is you are craving. Each crunch, each bite, each fork full is something to be delighted about.The restaurant is attached to a shopping area/mall. So the parking can be a little difficult as it shares parking with other businesses. The indoor dining area is large and busy, not entirely sure they are abiding by covid-19 guidelines. Fortunately, they have an outdoor dining area where you can watch sports events on the outdoor TVs.Overall, if you are not in a rush and have a lot of time to lounge and hang out, this place is the place for you.

Went opening day at 4 pm. Lots of staff buzzing around, very receptive. Happy hour is from 3 to 6 pm so we got 2 dollars off drinks and half priced appetizers. We got the chicken nachos, Hugeeee portion size but were amazing.The Mac and cheese squared was delicious. Although a smaller portion than I expected. The bacon, truffle tasted so good. I approve.Girlfriend got the four cheese pizza which was cut very awkwardly, definitely not even but she still like the pizza.Great beer list, huge. I will be back

Service was great for our large party. There were a couple of servers looking after our tables, and they were kind, engaging, and attentive.I ordered the Cilantro Lime Chicken. It was moist and extremely flavorful. There was corn, quinoa, tomato, cliantro, and radish mixed on the plate as well. I sqeezed the lime half over it to give it an extra little zing. Delicious!If you are looking for a lower calorie dish, this one was under 600 kcal. Not my reason for ordering it, but I happened to notice it on the lower calorie menu.The atmosphere was fun and lively. We sat outside, and the weather on this October night was perfect.My compliments to the staff for making our gathering after a funeral for a friend very enjoyable.

We ordered take out of 2 orders of Blackened Ahi Tuna and 1 order of Onion Rings.The presentation was absolutely TERRIBLE as it looked like it was just thrown together.The sauces were not even close to what they used to be and tasted absolutely ATROCIOUS.We ended up throwing all of it in the garbage; a total waste of the $53.53 that I spent for this atrocious meal.Yardhouse should be ashamed of themselves!

Fantastic establishment! Everyone from the hostesses to all the servers were so friendly and respectful. The food was amazing and they were very patient with our large party and kids. We had a nice lunch on the patio. Very pleasant atmosphere on a sunny December day - one of the perks of living in So Cal.They had reruns of NHL and NFL games on, and a good selection of classic rock playing at a reasonable volume.We both had the BBQ chicken and salad lunch. I was pleasantly surprised with my ranch salad - it was very generous with some good quality veggies included. The pizza was pretty good too.Our server Candice was great.Overall, a nice place for lunch. $30 out the door after a generous tip. Maybe a tad overpriced for lunch.

I would like to personally give a shout out to Alana! Although I did not eat there tonight. I was truly pleased by Alana’s willingness to accommodate my guests and I.It is a special day for one of my guests. We have been trying to get into multiple restaurants that accommodate a bigger individual. Unfortunately we were unable to find somewhere in a timely matter.Now to why I decided to make this post.Alana went out of her way to ensure she was able to seat us immediately. She showed me multiple into which we can sit. One of the spaces would be too small and another would be too high for them to get into. Finally she suggested to put multiple tables together and get everything rolling. She even reached out to the team to start getting the area ready for us.To some, this may seem small but today this made a difference. We ultimately did not dine at the restaurant but she definitely made me want to return.Thank you Alana.

I had the double BLT. I ate half at the Yard House and took the rest with me for my breakfast on the trip back to SeaTac. I was with my friend and we had ordered the chicken strips and noodles shrimp. I really enjoyed the honey mustard sauce for the chicken strips. My friend liked the noodles shrimp and had the rest to go. It was not too busy and a pretty good group of servers. My friend was a bit obsessed by the amount of beer options there though we did not drink. If I have to be honest I would say well this place is great for the younger crowd. I feel a little bit old going there. I do like the open atmosphere. Its like a huge dinner hall instead of the small restaurant I am used to. Our server could be more attentive.

Grace was my server and she was so sweet and attentive, consistently coming by to check on me and see if I needed anything. I’m very glad I made the decision to visit today. Had to sit at the bar bc there was a 20 min wait, even at the bar had to wait about 40 mins for our order to be taken then about anther 40 mins for our main dish to be brought out. Drink was extremely sweeter than picante. Only thing that was good was the salad, the environment and one of the bartender there with long dark blonde hair up in a very long styled high set ponytail. I thought about ordering fries ½ way into our meal but then thought it was going to take another 40 mins to get that also.

Food and drinks were delicious. I had the poke salad. While I understand food costs have gone up and the prices have followed which is to be expected, the serving was probably half of what I had last time. It wasnt just skipping on the uncooked fish but everything else was drastically smaller as well. My companion had the cobb salad with salmon for about the same price and I was blown away at the significant portion of salmon and other proteins on the plate.The paloma cocktail from the bar was very good! We of course will be back but I dont recommend getting the pokey salad If youre looking for anything more than an appetizer type of portion.

Pretty great place. Wide selection of beers (with a fun glass too), I really enjoyed the cocktails I ordered, and the food was delicious. The place looks really nice which is a plus. My only gripe was that it was extremely busy, but thats just a sign of how much people love it. If you like sweet drinks, try the black orchid.

The Korean sauce was so watered down it added absolutely no flavor to the steak so I just ate a raw steak basically.. And the sarachi fries were so covered in the sauce it was disgusting. Even the fish-and-chips were so bland, my stepfather who I took for an early Fathers Day dinner, decided to take all his fish home to make a fish sandwich because it was all just so blah! I guess good happy hour food and drinks, dont know, but for sure dont eat meals there.

Lots of good stuff here. Food, beer, service, etc. What I am really impressed with, however, is the vibe. This management knows the business regarding vibe- especially when it comes to quality sound/music. There are few establishments that do food and bev this well and understand the importance of excellent acoustics. As an audiophile, I am very comfortable here and I truly appreciate the effort they put into it.The main criticism I have with the YardHouse is that they don’t have the MLB package. IDK if they have the NFL or NBA ones either as I have yet to find out. These sports packages are quite pricey but this, to me, is a “no-brainer.” I will have to go elsewhere when I really need to see my team(s) play.Because of their lack of serious MLB interest, I should only have given 4-stars to the YardHouse. Because of their above average service, however (props to Reese…you do your job really well) I gave them 5.

How can I even begin? The second we walked into Yardhouse, our server Claire, was attentive, kind, and professional. She made sure our 4 hour stay at the Yardhouse nothing but a dream. Never in my life have I had a server treat the table the way she did. At any given time, she was there and ready to give us what we needed. Even when the table may have gotten a rowdy, she kept her composure and delivered the items we requested. More food service establishments need people like Claire. She was the epitome of what an outstanding waitress should be. Thank you for making us feel right at home in your restaurant and treating us like family. 10/10 will be returning and requesting Claire as our waitress.

Do not get the Sesame Seed Ahi Tuna Burger. The tuna is salted beyond reasoning and the tuna is very rubbery. Clearly this was thawed from a LONG time being frozen. The truffle fries were more regular fries with a hint of shredded truffle. Not worth getting over regular fries. Stick to appetizers and drinks if you patron this establishment. The waitress we had was VERY accommodating to our party. Top notch service.

After asking for a wait time, they seemed annoyed that we were willing to wait 15 min for a table inside. We were seated in the back by a server kiosk, though there were a number of open booths throughout the restaurant.There were quite a few waitresses that looked at our table, then went out of their way to walk around us or in a different direction as not to interact with us. We waited about 45 min for our food to come and when it did, it was cold. Like it had been sitting there, waiting to be picked up. Our waitress didnt come back to check on us until after I sent the food back with someone else. :(

Definitely an atmosphere worth visiting once or twice; or several times. With literally a few hundred beers on tap there is a flavor for just about anyone. The staff at this restaurant is and are amazing. They cater to your needs and are always friendly. I love coming to this restaurant!

It was a weird kind of place. Everything was just ok there. Nothing at all stood out about the place. The food was ok not bad but definitely nothing to talk about. The service was ok, took a few tries to get someone to notice i was ready to order but after that not bad service.

A refreshing outing in the midst of this wacky season. They have a large outdoor seating area, and the weather was perfect for it (thank you southern CA). My wife and three kids ate well, and the wait staff treated them all beautifully. I had their jambalaya, and, Im no jambalaya expert, but DANG it was good. Wiped the plate clean. We are lucky to have them open and they are blessed to be working. I encourage you to go there and eat there if you can... Keep them busy!

I dont know the name of our waitress but she was SUPER friendly and made us feel comfortable! She was absolutely the sweetest waitress Ive had. Ended up getting the mango mojito and the passion fruit mojito along with the poke nachos. The poke nachos were better than I had expected them to be and would recommend them!

Thanks to Yard House my family and I ate dairy for the first time in 6 years and my daughter who is extremely sensitive has been sick with stomach pain and rashes for 3 days. We were very clear about our diet restrictions. This restaurant even offers an entire menu of vegan options making me think they cared yet everything we received had cheese hidden under avocado spread. I am very dissapointed to say the least. I highly recommend that if you are plantbased, vegan, or have food allergies that you double and triple check your food and make sure your server understands.

Good Happy Hour food and drink deals; you could make a meal out of that but the regular menu is good, too. Lots of TVs inside and out to watch sports, dogs are allowed in the large outdoor dining area which has heaters to offset the evening cool. Service is friendly and fairly fast. Good place for casual dining.

My first time here and my last. Bland food, hockey puck burgers and zero refills without standing up to hail service. Then theres the price. Mehta food I ordered the Ahi plate raw veggies with no seasoning. How can Ahi be dry? $67.83 for 2 beers and meals. Unfortunately they label their fish and chips as hand battered yup fresh from frozen. Ill save myvtime n money for elsewhere. Oh I almost forgot about the dogs! 15 or more at the tables around us. Ill mannered pet owners barking dogs trays on the floor. Super gross!

Okay!!! Let’s start with the only negative in the building. The rude African American hostess lady right as you walk was the worst. She rolled her eyes at any request made, and spent more time talking about how to pay her and tip her then asking about your day or how you are. Other then her, this place is amazing!!! Paul the server was AMAZING and EXTREMELY friendly. He smiled, laughed, and seem to enjoy working there (unlike some people). The manger came by on many occasions just to check on our table and the tables around. The food was amazing and the taste was top notch. I hope the hostess reads this review and gets an attitude adjustment, but let’s disregard her and focus on The Yardhouse and the well trained staff. Total five star review and would recommend to all.

This place was a lot of fun. I split the poke nachos and jambalaya with a friend and walked away full. The beer selection is extensive and categorized nicely in the menu. Local stuff on tap too! I had a second chance fool me twice. The half a yard beers looked fun to drink. We had a party of 12 and they handled us with ease during a packed house on a Saturday night. Great experience.

Done the Yard House three times as a family get together, dealing with vegans, soy intolerants, gluten-frees, low carbs, you name it.They have an expansive enough food (and alcohol) menu to satisfy just about anybody.The low carb guy gets the jambalaya but has them put it on a bed of spinach instead of on noodles or rice; they do substitutions within reason. The fussy drinker got something where they happily substituted mescal for whatever the primary liquor was.The soy intolerant gets the ahi sandwich with a gluten-free bun and the sauce on the side.I dont care what the vegan gets, haha.

I’m usually a very happy customer of yard house but today I ordered Chicken Nachos to and found a piece of dark black hair in my nachos. It was in between guacamole and beans and just hate hair I’m my food. Had to throw away my whole order and make something at home. They need to be careful with hair covering and all 😞😞

Glad they finally opened one in the area. The layout is nice, but the waiting area is small or awkward. But the bar area and outdoor seating are great for meet ups and the table seating layout is great as well.I recommend the spicy tuna roll and buffalo cauliflower for something light. And the garlic mushroom noodle will get your appetite going.

Had the best experience ever and it was a busy Friday night. While waiting for a table a server came and got drink orders in the lobby so people could get happy hour pricing before it was over (it was 5:30, over at 6). Our server was amazing and friendly. We had at least four other people who came by our table and asked how our day was. Definitely my husband and my new favorite place :) We’ve been here before but were blown away by the amazing service on a busy Friday night.
