We went straight right after my cousin’s graduation and waited for about 35minutes to be seated around 11:00PM ( we were actually a group of 6). I like the ambiance very zen. As soon as we ordered our appetizer, it came so quick like around 10-15minutes which is 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I super enjoyed the nachos and fried calamari totally recommend it. However, most of our entree were too spicy like it overpowers the whole food. nevertheless, they enjoyed the flavor tho and well cooked meat. Luckily I ordered the orange chicken so it was kinda safe with my palate. Definitely we are coming back maybe during lunch time or early dinner

Went here to celebrate a coworkers birthday. The atmosphere was great, The drink selection was vast and the food options were great too. The drinks were great, It was happy hour, so we received a slight discount on drinks. The lobster noodles tasted phenomenal and the cheesecake was delicious. The service was great, the server constantly had a positive attitude, on provided quality customer service. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

I started eating before I took the picture, but my lobster garlic noodles were awesome. The fish and chips came with 3 huge pieces of fish.The steak bowl and sesame shrimp noodles were also very tasty dishes as well.We had a great time!Also wanted to send a shout out to Sharlene. She did a really great job. Im looking forward to going back again.

I got Trujitsu Family here! Shout out to Mr.Josh!!! We had a wonderful experience this Sunday. Everything we had was top-notch. Staff and Management make sure that this place is running smoothly. The chicken nachos were killer, my BBQ bacon burger was excellent, Mac and cheese is phenomenal and had them club sandwiches too. Soo good. We left with the creme Brule cheesecake but not before i snagged a bite. I loved it all. Thank you and we will be back.!

2nd time at yard house we were close fiance said lets try it again its been a few years since we have gone ..so we go and Carter was our waiter and he did great brought me little samples of beers while he explained the flavors and was very impressed and actually had a glass and the burger was so good with the beer..thank you carter now we shall be back and she loved the lavender drop..

Came here on Father’s day, was busy as expected but fast and kind service! Our appetizers came out after the food, but we weren’t mad about it because everything tasted amazing! Large portions, and menu has a great variety of options. If you’re HUNGRY, come here!!

So we went here late (about 11:45 pm) on a Friday night, 11/3/23. We needed something to eat, and taco bell wasnt going to do it. Lol. We walked in and figured it was not going to go well. The hostess did not look happy to see us, and wasnt very friendly. But, then, we met our server, Carter, and he was awesome. He got our order in quickly since the kitchen was closing soon, and was thoughtful enough to ask if we wanted to order dessert before the kitchen closed. He was really friendly and genuine. He was also knowledgeable about the beer selections. He made sure we had everything we needed, and was pleasant to interact with. In times when customer service is a lost art, it was very refreshing to get such great service. We enjoyed the food, too, but the real high point of our visit was Carter, and we hope to see him on our next visit.

The food here never disappoints, I had the vampire tacos and they were delicious.We ordered some appetizers and it took a while to get them because there was some issue with the system and our order did not go through, the manager came to our table to apologize and let us know the appetizers were on their way and free of charge.We were not even making a big deal out of this, we didnt complain, we just asked what happened to the appetizers.Everything was great, the wings are always so tasty here.The atmosphere is nice, good music, dim lights, good beer and I recommend the midnight sangria (I believe thats the name)

Went to this location last Saturday early afternoon with two toddlers. We asked to go sit outside. Didnt catch the hostess name but she was very kind. Gave us kids menus with color crowns and got us booster seats very quickly. Our server was amazing. Nicole G. was patient, kind and fast. The food and atmosphere was amazing. This was my second time here. The first experience was good, but I was at the bar and service was a little slow. It was busy, so I understand. This was the first time sitting at a table and its made me extatic to come back! The waitress was Presleigh and she was more than amazing! It seemed like all I had to do was think of something and she almost magically appeared. She always had a smile on her face and thats so hard to find lately. The forks are HUGE and Im weird and cant eat with them. I asked if there were smaller ones and she offered me a plastic to-go fork which was perfect! The food was awesome and I couldnt stop eating. The real lobster claws in the garlic shrimp and lobster pasta were an amazing surprise, the ahi tacos were phenomenal and the cheese curds were off the chain. 10/10 will recommend and 10/10 will be back! Love the ambiance and modern look of this place. Been wanting to dine here since they open and finally this time we made it. Our server is on point takes good care of what we need. We have no complaints of all the food we order Ahi crunchy tuna salad was fresh and delicious. I ordered a Maui pineapple chicken. It was so good and moist. The chicken tortilla soup was small but its very tasty and chessy we dip the french fries and was yummy. They have wide selection on the menu and long list of beers. We definitely come back again during happy hour with 1/2 off on selected Appetizer and pizzas. Love the idea that you be able to use the NFC mobile payment and it prints the receipt no need to wait for the waiter definitely saves time.

Austin was amazing. The food was delicious and presented and plated gorgeously. The steak was overcooked but out of 5 plates. That was it. Everything else was great. The appatizers were great. The French dip needs to come back but the spinach dip we got in replacement was good. The orange chicken was phenomenal. The hostess was great. The design of this place is beautiful very clean. Multiple great experiences but todays was phenomenal. If you happen to get Nico as your server, hes amazing and so nice and hospitable. Probably the best server Ive had in Bakersfield in ages. This was the first time I had ever eaten at Yard House. Was expecting your typical bar food; wings, burgers, beer, appetizers etc however, it was way more than that. The food menu was actually petty large with many good options. I decided to go with the Korean style rib eye steak. WOW! I am glad that I did. It was a large 16 to 18 oz steak full of flavor! It came with some chili garlic fries that were absolutely fantastic! A nice little kick with just the right amount of garlic to satisfy just about anyone. Now the only reason I gave it 4 starts and not 5 is because the music was WAY TOO LOUD! To the point where I had a very hard time hearing the waitress who was standing right next to me. I love music and have been the lead singer of a band a couple of times so I am used to loud music BUT this was ridiculously loud, especially for a restaurant setting. The staff were all great and very attentive and the prices were good too. If you are looking for a place to hang out with your friends to drink and have a good time, this is definitely the place for you but if you are looking to spend a relaxing quite dinner with the family, probably not the best place for that.

Yard House has a variety a different food. Their pizza has a perfect thin crust and great taste. The chicken breast with pineapple also a great choice. My favorite was the spinach dip!! That was yummy! Friendly staff and laid-back environment.

First Time here and was very impressed! I love pineapple chicken and saw on menu. I hadn’t had it in a restaurant establishment for 40 yrs. Staff was very attentive from host to table and throughout entire experience. Very refreshing! Ariah our waitress made my 65th BD celebration most enjoyable. Recommend Jumbo Bavarian Pretzel, spinach artichoke dip & chips, & Chicken Nachos. They surprised me with a wonderful free dessert for my special occasion. Thanks to all the wonderful staff ! My first time here but it will not be the last. It took about 15 minutes to get a seat but then again there was 13 of us. This eatery does not disappoint. The environment is very lively clean and the friendly servers are on it.They have everything that pairs up with a beer. The Yard House truly has the largest selection of beers on tap 🍺. They had all the games on. You could see a TV from anywhere in the place. We were greeted as soon as walked in the door. We got the menu and oh boy to they have a lot of delicious beers on tap. We went with Weihenstephaner. If you like hefeweizen this beer will teleport you to the Rhineland. We ordered the firecracker shrimp for an appetizer. They were amazing and perfect to share between two people. Then we ordered a pizza that was stacked full of meat cheesier than a dad joke at Thanksgiving. We were checked on several times by the staff. Great experience I cant wait for another reason to stop by.

Birthday at the Yard House.Note: we came during COVID time and Kern County is in the Red Tier so no bar, 25% inside capacity but outdoor seating available.So I knew the wife and friends wanted to go to the Yard House, which is great, I’ve wanted to try it again. Previously I’ve had a small lunch there and wanted to try the dinner.I recommended making reservations. The wife called and they said it was first come, first served. Not what you want to hear when seating is limited, but roll the dice and see what happens.When we got there they have a check in area up front in the doorway where they ask the number in your party and they offered: inside dining, rear patio dining, front outdoor dining (tent in the front) or first available. I opted for rear patio or inside. They take your phone number and you wait. (I actually prefer the text method instead of the old pager. I mean why not? I always have my phone on.)Anyways we didn’t wait long and we got the text and we were seated outside on the patio in a booth. Nice.Appetizers were great! We had Poke Nachos and Wings. Not a huge fish/poke person but they were good! We got a mix of Korean BBQ and Lemon Pepper wings. Also really good!I had the BBQ Bacon Burger. It’s a 1/2 lbs. burger. It tasted pretty good. Won’t lie. It’s no gourmet burger. It’s a solid BBQ Burger but the patty was very out of the packaging and the bun was too small for the meat. The bacon and bbq sauce were excellent. Like I said this was a SOLID burger. Just nothing spectacular.The wife had the Fish and Chips. And good gravy they give a ton of fish! It’s huge. Look at the picture. She barely made a dent in her dinner. But she said it was good. Also she upgraded to the Truffle Fries! Totally worth it!I had the Long Beach Tea. It was a nice drink. But it didn’t pack any punch too it. I’m guessing it’s their version of a Long Island. It was tasty and looked pretty, but didn’t hit me like a good Long Island should. So...make them stronger Yard House.Service: shout out to our server Steph. Her shirt said trainee but she was a pro. Took out orders in a timely fashion, refilled waters, checked on us. Special Note: she over heard my wife and friends talking about my birthday and asked us what kind of birthday dessert I wanted. No one at the table asked her but she picked up on that. A couple of people in my doctors office recommended the Yard House and were so happy they did! My husband and I went here for a late lunch yesterday afternoon. It was our first time going here. My husband and I dined in and we brought home an order of food for our son.We dont drink alcohol, so we just ordered water to drink this time. They offer lots of alcoholic and other beverages. There is something for everyone to choose from. My husband had the Classic Cheese Burger and some sweet potato fries. He absolutely RAVED about how juicy his burger was -- he said it was cooked to perfection. I had the Stacked Turkey Club with sweet potato fries -- delicious! We brought home some food for our son (who works from home as a software engineer). He ordered the Thai Grilled Pork Chop. He said that it was fabulous!The ambience was perfect for the eclectic menu that is offered.We loved the booth that we were sat at. It had a lot of room (which we appreciated since we are bigger people -- hubby is 65 and I am 59), and a lovely lacquered big, dark wooden table with comfy seating. Since I had to use the restroom before we left to drive back to Tehachapi, I observed that the womens bathroom was nice and clean.We will DEFINITELY be coming back here! I couldnt eat my salad, it tasted like preservatives. I took o e little bite and i was done with it. Not once did any one ask me, if there was anything wrong with it or even notice it was bassically untouched. Great spot. Ive eaten there twice now. I ordered the Maui pineapple chicken, a peach iced tea and the spinach dip for an app. The only complaint is with what they are serving with the spinach dip.. the chips felt stale and the cracker/Flatbread stuff was a bit crumbly and kept breaking. Otherwise, everything else was great. The tea wasnt overly sweet and wasnt syrupy. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the sauces we sooo good. Service was friendly and attentive. Our glasses never went empty. Definitely recommend.

My rating is between a 4 & 5. Ive been here several times since they opened and each time has been about the same. The wait has gotten better, depending on the time of day, but service is still slow. Even though it was slow, our waiter was great and friendly. I was a bit annoyed that I had to talk to a manager to get a cocktail. My drivers license shows expired, and they were questioning me about it. They also said they couldnt serve me a drink, but after some annoying conversation, they did. Im almost 50! I dont look near 21 at all. I understand they law, but think being reasonable also should play into customer service.

Terrible custom service. I ordered 2 BBQ chicken salads for lunch. Went to pick them up, checked into curbside pickup, waited 15 min in which nobody brought my order out. Had to go inside to get my order. I then got back to work to find that they did not give me any salad dressing. Called to let them know all they could tell me was that they forgot and do I want to come back and pick it up.

Nice addition to Riverwalk restaurant scene. Our server Miguel was attentive and even introduced us to his replacement when he took his break. Delicious food with something for everyone on their extensive menu. The beer selection is off the hook with two pages on the menu to select from. We are already planning to go again soon. This is a busy place so you might have to wait a little to get a table. Bar has open seating.

I went into yard house with my bf and one of his buddies. I had high expectations because Ive been to the YH in long beach n absolutly loved it. And the YH in Bako exceeded my expectations!! We sat at the bar, and our waitress/bartender Maria was AMAZING!! I was also impressed by how fast this other female bartender was making drinks for the entire restaurant!! Oh yea, and it was 108 outside, and the beers were soooo cold. They hit the spot !!! A +++ YOU LADIES Rocked it!! the ONLY not so good thing I have to say is I didnt see any managers interacting with the customers.I worked in a restaurant as a manager for a lot of years. Service here is great. The best time to get here for dinner on a weekday and NOT have a wait is actually 4pm to 5pm. Dont go any later and expect to get right in. We had a large party of 7 people and were seated right away at 4pm. I ordered the Baja Blackened Shrimp Tacos. Really good, but very spicy on your lips. Our table ordered the Onion Ring Tower and it won high approval by all who ate it. We also ordered the spicy Edamame for an appetizer. Even the kids liked that, but beware, its messy like sloppy joes! Two of the other adults at our table had hot wings, one boneless, one traditional with flats. Both adults said they were spicy but delicious. Kids portions of Mac NCheese were generous. Always love coming here. Appetizers are half price during happy hour! Smart to come during that time and get those appetizers as meals too.

The wait was about 45 min fine its new but theres not a lot of room inside you wait outside and theres no seating or heaters. Its definitely a sports bar the music is too loud. We got a pizza and onion rings for the table and we had to ask for napkins and utensils. This place is incredibly popular many years now since opening. it had been about a year and a half for me. i had the salmon and it was delicious aswell as the garlic mash and the temperature was awesome. my big complaint is the vegetables. i could barely chew on the crown of the broccolini let alone the stem and the mixed carrots the same. i find it hard to believe that they have been open this long and noone has bothered to point this out the vastly undercooked nature of the side vegetables.

We went in with a large party after an event last night the server was rude to my dad about wearing a mask (he has cancer and is immune compromised) technically he shouldnt be out but again it was a special event for us. Server took our drink order but then forgot to put them in so they never came we asked about them he apologized and put them in. We waited over an hour for a table and then waited another 40 minutes for our food. He only asked half the table to order appetizers and never asked or came back to the other half. He told us he would comp our drinks and an appetizer but then that didnt happen when our bill came so we had to tell the second server who took over then she had to ask her manager. It took us another 40 minutes to pay our bill because their tablet system thing was being difficult and then the server said the first payment made she cancelled on accident. It was the longest night ever and though the food was delicious the service and all the hassle was not worth it!

What a well oiled happy hour machine. Stopped here on way to LA from Santa Clara. Saw their happy hour, and wanted to check it out. Expected it to be dead, but it was packed. Have been here multiple times for food and or drinks. Drink prices are very reasonable especially during prime hours. There’s plenty of chain restaurants that charge a much higher premium. They’re known for their beer and drink selection, and they don’t disappoint. The playlist is always amazing as I end up having several conversations about it per visit it seems. After we finished eating my family and I stayed a little longer to socialize and talk would appear to be a member of management came over to ask us if we needed anything else we said no and he left it at that but I do think that was their way of hurrying us along so they can go forth to seat other people; I like the fact that they werent pushy about it.

This place is always a popular spot so it can be really busy or packed at times. It can be a hassle to show up and wait up to an hour for something. Usually though I find a spot at the bar and hang out there. It’s a great place when you get in quick because it’s clean, spacious and lively. The music is on point most of the time and the selection of beers is pretty big. I always find myself trying out something new whenever I go which is great. The food is also good. I wouldn’t recommend it as the best dining out area but for a little fun with friends or family it definitely hits the spot.

I had to take a moment to do this review before we even walk out of the restaurant, because Ren was just that AWESOME! I think we had way too many questions about the menu, and yet she stayed patient with us the entire time and answered every question, with no problem at all. I have yet to have a bad experience at any of the many Yard Houses I have been in. We were in town visiting our Mom whom has never had the great experience of eating at Y.H.She lives close by and she said she loved everything about it except she thought the MUSIC was to loud. I have to agree, our food, service & drinks were perfect, the Music was louder than I expected for lunch time. We really had a hard time talking over the music.

I was blown away on how good the food and service was. Our waitress Steph was amazing she was very attentive but never overbearing. Thats a hard balance but shes got it down. And I now know that is I had to eat 1 thing for the rest of my life it will definitely be the Firecracker Shrimp from Yard House. Thanks guys for the great experience.

We ordered a ridiculously expensive dish on the menu LOBSTER GARLIC NOODLES.. lobster is our favorite and having a dish so specify to it is always amazing.. however for the price we paid for the dish called as “LOBSTER” garlic noodle, it was more like Shrimp garlic noodles.. Lobster was just 2 ounces, you would have to dig deeper in the noodles to find your lobsters.Either they should change the name or better their quality for the price they ask. Also the server was MIA for the most part, We sat there waiting for her to come take our order then waited another eternity for someone to stop by to get us few boxes. If you plan on going to Yard house I would only suggest getting few drinks with appetizers otherwise it’s not Worth it!

My fam and I came here to celebrate my dads bday and it was his choice. We came at 5 hoping to miss the crowd. Unfortunately, for us, the place was already popping! We got our table within 15 min of arriving and there were plenty of patrons waiting along with us outside. We were still waiting on one person but they allowed us to go ahead and sit down so big plus for that.It was very clean inside and the lights were dimmed. We got a central table and it was super crowded inside. I can see this being popular for the younger crowd. They had a good selection of drinks and food. I will say their food is amazing. I got their jambalaya and spinach/artichoke dip. The flavors were 🔥🔥. My husband got a medium rare steak and they actually cooked it right!! That is not something that happens often when you order a medium rare. Kudos to the chef! My husband also usually will not eat his steak with sauce but the sauce that came with his was so good that he ate it. Another kudos!My only complaint, other than being loud inside, was that our table probably had about 3 different servers our whole time there, which was a little over an hour. With all 3 servers, I never got offered a refill of my iced tea even though my empty cup was in plain sight at the end of the table. Plus, even though we had 3 different servers, there were times when we couldnt flag any one of them down bc they couldnt be found. I had to ask 2 other servers for things we needed.My family and I had a good time, overall. My husband says he wants to come back but it will not be with me. For my personal taste, it was too loud, crowded, and busy.

Had some family come down and we decided to try this place out and I was just blown away by the AMAZING SERVICE! The entire staff was beyond attentive and had such great attitudes. A special thank you to our waitress Alexis who just went above and beyond taking care of all of us. She was sweet, passionate about her job, and brought us refills of our drinks without us even having to ask. As a General Manager of a restaurant, I wish I could have a crew like the ones here. The food was delicious. And I have very picky eaters in my family and they all enjoyed every single bite all the way down to the dessert. Great food and service. The strong point is the variety of the menu and that it is all done so well. We had the crab cakes and poke bowl - both were outstanding. So the atmosphere is a little diminished because eating is on the covered patio (busy Stockdale traffic) and, yes, it is a chain but our Bakersfield staff is makin it happen. We had Ray Ray as our server and he is very personable and has a great commitment to service. We should all support this place. Looking forward to the full reopening. We had enjoyed this place last year for just a few months before the pandemic hit.

Today was my first time going here. I got the Lobster Bisque Agnolotti and i Personally didn’t like it. It just didn’t taste good. I also think the wait was long +30 minutes. The drinks were good.
