Not a sushi fan but wife had a craving after a long day. But what a selection. They also had a great selection of other items as you can see. Best part attentive staff who were there for their customers not their paychecks. Definitely worth checking out.

Hands down favorite sushi place. Always come for the same thing: iced green tea, Caterpillar, Alaskan and Tiger roll. I also love their green tea ice cream. It is a smaller place and they play covers of songs- I personally like the atmosphere and the staff is super friendly.Update- to this day, they are still my favorite!9/30/23 - still my favorite! Got to eat in today after picking up for about a year and it is so great fresh and the service is great too!

Excellent Happy Hour sushi rolls & drinks. Red Dragon, Dragon, CA, Yatai roll + cream cheese...so good. The garlic edameme. Gluten free rice & soy sauce available. Quickly becoming my local favorite for Rancho Cucamonga CA . Tim was an amazing server, so thoughtful.

It’s one of the best sushi restaurants in Rancho Cucamonga. Its a small restaurant but very clean and can be intimate for a date night. The food is fresh and tasty. The rolls are big and the rice has wonderful flavor. The all you can eat is very filling. The price is affordable. Their service is also very prompt and appreciable.

My favorite sushi spot in the IE. I have been coming here for years. They no longer serve all you can eat sushi, but the every day happy hour prices are good and I always have left overs to enjoy at home! I almost dont want to give a good review, because I would like to keep this hidden gem all to myself. But, the staff should enjoy the heavy business. Service, cleanliness, and professionalism are always apparent. If there is a wait. It is worth it. I highly recommend.

Delicious! You can get all you can eat for $23.99, totally worth it! You can sit at the bar and watch you food be made, and there are tables. This is a small restaurant, sometimes you have to wait for a seat, but its totally worth it. Loved there dynamite roll! Everything was great ❤️. Cant wait to go back again!

The service is always prompt and the servers are always attentive and amazing when we go. This is our go to sushi spot. We always leave satisfied and the sashimi, nigiri, and sushi rolls are always fresh and delicious 😋 The pricing is always fair. The chefs are very kind and always have excellent cuts. Would 100 percent recommend to anyone for amazing sushi 😍

Yatai was delicious! I love all you can eat sushi places and I can always tell when the fish is good or crummy. THIS place has a great selection and it is delicious. The service is quick and everything is clean. All you can eat is 23.99 for dinner, which is well worth it! Also, if you get all you can eat, theres select items you can have off the menu for a waaaay reduced extra price, thats how I got my delicious oysters!

My wife and I tried out this place after reading some great reviews. Honestly, this is one of the worst Japanese food we had ever tasted. I grew up eating a lot of authentic Japanese food, so I know what real Japanese food should taste like. The rolls were made with soggy rice and too much rice vinegar. The seafoods probably arrived 3 days ago. The waiter was surprised we didnt want to order a second round. We even saw a cockroach crawling out the door on our way out. Too bad we didnt capture it on video. My wife and I just couldnt stop laughing afterwards. At least we got a good laugh out of it though.

This sushi spot has always been a go to for me. They have great service and the fish never tastes bad. The sushi chefs are very welcoming and will party with you if you buy them drinks! Def recommend if in the area. It isnt and AYCE place. But I think that contributes to the food being much cleaner then most other places.

Sadly no longer offers AYCE and their happy hour prices are just regular prices offering a false sense of discount. The sushi is amazing and used to be my favorite place to eat at for a date but since the removal of AYCE, just no longer worth the price.If you dont mind much about prices then by all means go here for sushi! Its the best tasting in town!

I will never go anywhere else. I will drive hours for this place! The staff here is incredible and the food is amazing! Old time sushi was like art. Thats what you will get when you come here. I have great service every time I come here. The waitress is quick to bring everything out. The food is delicious, the Jalisco roll is my boyfriends favorite roll out of any sushi place weve been and I love their tempura friend jalapenos filled with spicy tuna and cream cheese.

I used to go there on regular basis for lunch a few years ago. It was above average sushi for the price. I commute from LA and eat a lot of expensive high end sushi. I moved my office and didn’t go here for a few years. Recently I went for lunch. Ordered the same food as my usual. The fish felt like thawed frozen fish. I tried tuna, albacore and salmon and all the same problem. Something has changed in last few years. I can tell you I did Not get sick. So that’s good news. This is an average sushi restaurant considering the priceA lot of people go here for all you can eat deals. I don’t. I just order my favorites ala cart.

I have been coming here for years. This place easily has the best oysters from any sushi place in the area. They generally have very friendly service, sometimes the sushi chef can be moody but his sushi is very high quality. Whether it be the basic rolls or fried rolls; nigiri or sushi. You can expect delicious fresh product.Do not go to omokase,sushi martini or any where else that serves sushi in this 50 mile radius but here.

I usually dont write poor reviews unless they are warranted. Yatai sushi is one of the worst sushi places I have visited. The service is incredibly slow and they really push the hour rule. It takes 45 minutes to get the food and at that mark they were ready to kick us out. That was a surprise to me as it too so long to make the food. The food itself was subpar to many of the other restaurants that offer the same items. Needless to say I was disappointed. I know several people have posted a great review of this place but my experience was not enjoyable and I will not return.

Great sushi and at the right price. This is the best place near Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga in my opinion. $23.99 all you can eat. Their baked sushi is awesome. The only thing to keep in mind is the seating, it is a small place so seating is limited. Kirin beer on draft is $2.99 for a 16oz. You cant beat that. I highly recommend this place it is nice a clean.

Very nice little place. We ordered the all you can eat. They have a lobster sushi to die for and a crunchy roll that is out of this world. They also have a BSC roll with scallops. The sushi came with gobs of lobster and scallops on the roll. I ordered an extra that cost a little more..salmon eggs, not really worth it. Stick to the specialty rolls. We also ordered green tea ice cream, perhaps the best I have had. Its in a little shopping center and is kind of lost between a doggie groomer and something else. Dont let that be off-putting. If you like Japanese sushi, go there.

This spot is one I have been coming to for years! Its very #delocious and some of the best #sushi in town. My mouth waters every time I get the Alaskan roll, and if you like something different yet satisfying, try the spicy pearl roll. The service here is always top notch and they have some of the best prices sushi in town. Yatai never disappoints and Im sure youll find a roll or any other entrée that youll love that is delicious and satisfying. We have gone to other sushi places in the area but always return here to Yatai, because we taste the difference in the quality of sushi they serve. I got invited to eat sushi with an uncle of mine. I had been to many different sushi bars in the local area around Rancho Cucamonga. This place was ok.... just ok. There are other places around d town that are better. The tuna was ok. A little rubbery, the salmon ok. The spicy tuna better only because it was spicy. The shrimp tempura just like any other place. They do have beer from Japan and no liquors. Overall, they are a standard 3 stars. No extra, nothing to say it had the JND. The Just Noticeable Difference.
