This place to me was very good. Came in n on a Thursday and it was not crowded at all, the whole restaurant looked really clean, service was great, the beer and food were really good too, a bit pricey but overall everything was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful and all the tables were very organized and grills on the table were spotless.

We got Combo 2 for 3 people. For the meats and seafood, we chose 불고기(Bulgogi), 닭불고기(Marinated chicken) and 새우구이(Grilled shrimp). Over all food was very good, my family and I had a fun time.

First time here. Quality of meat is wonderful, worth the price. We got the 2 person combo for $98. It came went choice of two meats, steamed egg, choice of soup, salad and ban Chan. Had leftover meat and soup. They cook the meat for you which makes for a better experience in my opinion. Will definitely come again

This place has excellent food, fast and friendly staff. They also are very attentive which is cool.I ordered the galbi and pork belly. Both were extremely fresh and tasted amazing.I will be back when I visit the Gardena area.

Delicious, and with great service. Prices seem quite high. This is *not* a cheap AYCE place. That said, quality is very good and service was excellent. Atmosphere does little to distinguish it from less expensive places and the bill really can be a shock to the wallet if youre not prepared. Still the quality and variety is great. I wavered between four and five stars because of the disconnect between price and experience, but in the end... Five stars.

Yellow Cow has been in business for over 20 years but you wouldnt know it by looking at the place. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. Also, let me give you a tip about food service businesses: if you want to see how cleanly a business operates go and check their restrooms. Funny but true. Yellow Cow has CLEAN restrooms. On to their food... their side dishes are fresh made daily and they also vary the side dish menu with new, thoughtfully prepared ones. They always impress. Their meat quality is the best Ive had. This isnt all you can eat BBQ. If you are expecting quantity over quality this isnt the place for you. The service is friendly and attentive. Quality of taste and meat-wise, this is one of the best Korean BBQ restaurants in SoCal.

We went here to celebrate with friends and everyone who worked here was very nice. Due to the small lot, parking can be tough, but we got lucky. They messed up our reservation and our table wasnt ready when we arrived, but rather than have us wait a long time, they set up a new table for us. Sure it was in a walkway, but they partitioned it off and we didnt really notice. The food was all excellent. We got the 4 meat combo with bulgogi, chicken, rib eye, spicy pork, and shrimp. The bulgogi was a favorite, and the spicy pork had a hotness and sweetness to it. Our vegetarian liked the salad and got noodles and ate much of the banchan. No one walked away hungry. The staff took the time to cook each meat for us, so we could spend our time talking and not worrying about it cooking or cooking it incorrectly. I really appreciated that.

Walked into this place because sushie sumo was closed....We walk in and the bbq has old food still stuck to it...they have a big industrial fan in the middle of the restaurant...the options are very small and what they do have is expensive!!we chose 1 meat and the waitress proceeded to tell us that it might come out already cooked... i am guessing its because we didnt choose the big party platter of $100.

Love the pork belly, brisket, beef bacon, haemul pajeon, fried pork cutlet, bulgogi, garlic bacon pork belly fried rice, gop chang jeongol, all the soups/stews are so good too!!!I love all of their banchans. They are so creative with them!! It changes all the time and brings in seasonal ingredients.The family sets actually comes with generous amount of meat😆The take out dosirak set is fantastic as well.Love that they keep the place clean at all times and they renovate every few yrs. Went as a walk-in with a friend who was visiting the city. Limited dine-in seating so there was a small 20min wait for a table at 7p, however, it went by quickly. Food was super tasty. Meat was very fresh and good quality. Sides were small but there were so many of them and the you can always order more. The restaurant did not offer an AYCE option but the family set combos offered plenty of food. The portions ended up being very generous. So glad we were able to snag a walk-in table and have a great dining experience. Will definitely come back!

So excited to share this local Korean BBQ! Yellow Cow KBBQ has amazing bento plates and other to-go options. We got the spicy bulgogi set with banchan sides and curry soup, bulgogi set, bulgogi ramen set and bibimbap set. All to go. Great portions for the price. I actually never knew they were here although Ive been to other restaurants in the plaza so I’m glad to discover them! Enjoy and support your local business!Back in June 2020 to celebrate a grad! Still awesome and delish! Great service - they take your temp at entry and we sat socially distanced. We got one of the combos and it was a lot for family of four. From the end of June, 2020: Would give them a higher rating if the server hadnt been so darn sexist! My goodness. I am always so oblivious to this kind of stuff and Im a great denier but this kid was being so rude and obvious. Trying to address only my male companion and giving him back the check to sign. My card was on it with my name! They also tried to cook everything for us at a much quicker pace than we were comfortable eating and we had to stop him on part two because my steamed egg hadnt even arrived. The pile of meat on the fourth picture was all him. The sides were a solid 3/5 too. Overall not impressed. Will not return.

I really discovered how diverse kbbq and the meats were very well prepared. This place even have lovely servers who cook your meats as well but you can cook yourself too. I think the quantity of their family packs were on high end but the good thing is you can take home whatever meat remains

The food was good but service was mediocre. Our burner kept turning off. They came to turn it back on 2 times because we waved at them to come. We had to figure out how to keep turning it back on ourselves. They did not independently ever check back with us or even ask us if we needed anything else. Will probably not return.

The bulgogi was really good but IMO the spicy pork bulgogi had too much sauce which took over everything. If I was to go again which I will, I would get rib eye or something. Been coming for years and it’s never short of excellent. Banchan always on point and changes up once a while for a nice surprise. Of course the main meats and seafood is always the freshest. Quality over quantity.The owner is also the sweetest lady, and may I also add, beautiful!Wouldn’t go anywhere else in the South Bay for KBB.

They let us get seated early and continued to be very patient with us as we waited in another person to arrive.The amount of food and side dishes were a lot. For 3 people, we ordered the combo for 2 people because we werent very hungry. We took a box of leftovers home. The brisket and pork belly were delicious and they helped us check our food several times throughout the meal.Everyone was nice and very helpful, even though we didnt know Korean. The bathroom was clean and spacious.Good: The soybean paste soup wasnt a favorite of some people, but I thought it was tasty and slightly spicy.Bad: Nothing was bad.

15 -20 min wait outside in the cold, waiter was rude to me and my guest poor service, everyone else their food was served with good customer service but my table, we had to make our own food while the waiters cooked everyone else’s meal and the waiter tried to give us two filthy cups and was upset that we had ask for cleaner cups he snatched the cups, and then when we’re trying to pay the bill he had ask for a 15% gratitude and got upset once more because he we denied it due to his poor service other than that the food was good i would not personally go back or recommend the place to anyone

I went to this restaurant twice already. And each time I had a great time. I came with my bf we came without a reservation. We ended up waiting for maybe 30 minutes or less which wasn’t a big since we came without reservations. The guy that seated was the sweetest person ever. He was so nice! The food ugh it’s so good! Encountered a grumpy server yesterday afternoon. he saw us three times waiting at the door, and didnt even acknowledge us, until the female server saw us and got us seated. then he moved us to a smaller table in the middle where the highchair barely fit, he said hes just getting the place ready coz its close to dinner time and its going to be busy. i asked him if the side dishes were free refills and he said yes, then afterwards he proceeded to say that the next one will be charged because he already did three rounds (we only asked refills on 4 small side dishes, not the whole set). the other servers were quiet but pleasant though, so this guy probably just have some attitude problem. i used to go to this place a lot but so disappointed now considering that its the first time i brought my mother there. probably not going back.

The meat quality here was so good and everything was delicious. Unfortunately, I have to dock stars for the service. While having our own private conversation, the waiter stepped in with really condescending remarks.. twice. It was really unnecessary and really ruined the ambience. We were also doing well grilling on our own and when it came time for the pork belly a lady came and put it on the grill for us and told us not to touch it because she was going to come cook for us. Luckily I checked and our food was almost burnt. She never came back the whole night. We also had to remind them a few times of our extra side orders which is pretty normal at Korean bbq, but I was already really annoyed with the waiter. So I wont be coming back which is too bad because food was pricey but good.

Got a meal set for two people that came with a soup, a steamed egg,2 choices of meats, a salad and a few other thing with taxes it all came out to about $93.00 you can also just get your choice of meats as is not as a set combo the price of each cut varied from 35-55 if I remember right a order of meat is generous depending on hunger its enough for 2-3 people. Service by staff was good very attentive it was our first time there. Good chance of going back there.

This was an amazing kbbq experience. I think most people only look for AYCE when it comes to kbbq but if youve never tried a quality place before this is a great option. We had the pork ribs and a beef option and they were marinaded to perfection and were some of the best kbbq Ive personally ever had. It also was nice to be able to try all the side dishes since most of the time they get over looked during an ayce experience. The service staff was amazing even though they had a full house. Overall great experience and will be back again!!

Now open with a great outdoor tent space. Outdoor tables have portable hotplates, but some of the meats are served Cooked. Tonight, we decided to give this place a shot again and ordered takeout over the phone.Terrible, terrible experience. So we called in advance to place our order and my husband went to pick it up 20 mins later (as instructed by them) and he ended up waiting for another 15 mins there (and smelling like bbq for no good reason).When he asked about his order again (and pushing for it), he learnt that the restaurant completely lost his order and he had to wait for another 20 mins to get our order done.This is totally unacceptable. Pricey!! Be prepared to spend $125 or more per couple. After you get past the sticker shock, the service and food are the very best! Going to yellow cow reminded me of my days in the army at camp Humphreys Korea. A army base not too far from Pyeongtek, there were korean bbq places all around. I recommend the Cass beer. Our favorite meats are the jumuluk and usamgyeop (beef bacon).Most of the staff, especially those whove been there a long time, are cheerful and friendly, as is the owner Monica, who often goes around to say hello to customers.Theres only a small parking lot, which can get full very quickly. Craving for Korean barbeque was more than met at Yellow Cow. Combo menu features good variety of meats and fishes, including some premium items such as Galbi (ribs) for a few dollars more. As others have mentioned the drinks in the combo menus are a bit confusing - why choose between 1 large beer or 2 sodas? Fed a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 little ones - for under $70. We arrived around 6pm on a Monday evening and found a table, but the place filled up quickly and people were waiting at the door after 7pm.
