I had the pleasure of dining at Yin Ji restaurant in Pleasanton, and it exceeded all my expectations. The fish porridge they serve is simply outstanding. The fish was cooked to perfection, and the porridge had a comforting and rich flavor that warmed my soul. Equally impressive were their rice rolls, which were incredibly light and packed with delightful fillings. The combination of flavors and textures in both dishes was truly remarkable. Yin Ji is a true culinary gem that deserves all the praise it receives

Great service and short wait time. The food is pretty flavorful but they put lettuce in it which is something not as common. If youre looking for the Hong Kong style one then this is not it but still tastes good though. The milk tea is on the sweeter side so ask for less sweet but the tea base is good. The lemon tea is authentic without the bitterness from the lemon and not dry on the mouth. Overall, this place is good and worth a try

Generally authentic but the rice roll can be a bit better than this. I wish they have add Chinese daikon in the beef stew.

Bought a ginger milk pudding, a very small can, cost $7.17, not tasty at all. Rarely encountered milk pudding that could taste so bad. Caution advised.Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Chinese restaurants have increased their prices unreasonably. The problem is that the quality of the dishes is not good either.

Not bad for rice rolls. The congee isnt bad but its quite pricey for the size. Good congee is hard to come by, let alone congee. 😔

I didn’t realize this was a famous chain in China until my parents told me. I can see why, their Chung fun and congee are super flavorful. Also, their Chung fun is made fresh and not oily like some dim sum places. Highly recommend for anyone wanting authentic and delicious Chung fun and congee. We had to wait a while for our food though, about 30 mins or more on a Sunday afternoon.

This place it’s really delicious.I am in love with their egg rice noodle, nice and smooth. Customer service is great, always ask for refills of water and if we need anything. Definitely a place to give a try and I will definitely stop by again if I am in the area . Highly recommended this location to give a try.

If you like rice noodle changfen, you should try at this location, I think it’s most likely the best among this franchise

Cantonese style rice noodle place.It is one of the well known brands in Guangdong.The rice noodle is authentic and delicious.Good for afternoon snack.There are also a wide selection of Cantonese congee.If you are looking for the Canton style breakfast fix, this is the place.Average is about 10-15 dollar per person.

Chang Fen is just okay! Quality similar to most dim sum restaurants, but I expect more for a Chang Fen place. Congee base is acceptable. Liver and kidney are aweful, not processed in a professional way to make it soft, tender and more importantly no smell. May be some people appreciate it remind them the home taste 40 years ago! Didnt bother to take a picture for the congee!
