Ying Hana Teppanyaki in Van Nuys

Sooooooo I ordered and believed the comments right!!! Finally realized you all are liars and paying for good reviews, the food was horrible. I should have went to Panda Express. The chicken Hibachi plate I ordered smelled and tasted like I got it from the mall food court. I don’t trust food in L.A. no more. And the reviews oh my god, are super fake. The restaurant is run down and looks disgusting. UberEats has them at 4.7!!!!Do not Go! I’ve warned you.

Saw the reviews on yelp and decided to check it out. The place (dining area) was basic but clean.The prices seems reasonable, I ordered the lunch combo (2-item chicken and steak) it cakes with white rice and vegetables (fried rice can be substituted for &1.00 more), Vegetables are broccolis and cucumbers. The chicken and steak was diced into small cube size for easy chew, it was yummy! I plan on trying chicken and shrimp next time,the menu lists the prices of the foods but they strangely don’t list the prices of the drinks, the cooler with the drinks don’t list the prices, I hope they fix this soon, it’s kinda irksome to have to ask the prices of each of the drinks.The cashier was nice enough but could be friendlier in answering questions about the drinks.I would come back for the food

I went for the first time got the hibachi chicken. It was 9.99 plus tax very decent price for the amount of chicken and it tasted very delicious

Filtet mignon was tender cooked perfectly, great meal for under $20 good portions.

I got the hibachi sirloin with white rice and I wasn’t disappointed with the taste and the price was reasonable(14.22 taxes included) considering the cut of meat and the amount inside the plate. Don’t treat it like your corner store Chinese food anymore because this establishment is of a higher quality. Not by far but it is. And I will be coming back.

Grand opening with 10% off. Food is absolutely amazing with reasonable price. Ordered the three meat combo with chicken shrimp and steak with fried rice. Will definitely come back and try everything.

Food is not seasoned don’t have any flavor this the first time I get food and is the last time by the way is so expensive $15.00 for beef brócoli and vegetables the sauce is to strong.

Hole in the wall location in a strip mall with incoherent food claiming to be Japanese. Service was quick and helpful. Hope the menu improves.
