Every time I go back to the Bay Area I have to go to Yo Sushi get the angry lion king. That’s my favorite but they have so many options to choose from! The teriyaki bowl 🍚 is great too.

Words simply cannot describe the true feelings i have for this delectable meal. the flavors in my mouth made me quiver and shake in anticipation of the sensation of the sushi traveling down my stomach. the scent of the california roll that i ordered made my mouth water beyond control. the moment i placed the roll on my tongue i couldn’t help but notice this feeling of ecstasy. the wave of wasabi and succulent crab meat overwhelmed my senses in the best way possible. 10/10 5 star would recommend to anyone that is seeking to experience the true passion and delightfulness of japanese cuisine.

Easily the best sushi restaurant in the area! All of the food I have had here has been excellent! Some of the rolls are a little pricey but they are WORTH IT!

Had an order of the Vegetable Roll (~$5): cucumber, avocado, & kanpyo wrapped in pounded rice. Food was delicious, staff was hidden (visible only via a small space in the facade between the kitchen & dining area), and the ambiance was photo-friendly (with pictures of the many rolls which can be ordered on the walls).

Actually surprisingly good. I got salmon teriyaki and gyoza and it was top notch. I really wasnt expecting much from this place. And reasonably priced. Better even than Mikuni in the Veranda

Ive been eating Yo Sushi since the closest one was in Fairfield! Large portions and great prices. Try the Dilly Salmon or Poki rolls. Theyre two of my favorites.

Total hole in the wall sushi joint. But I love this place SO much. The sushi is always good, which is great when it’s fast and cheap! How can you get all 3 at the same time? Rare. They have all the standard rolls, plus the unique versions each sushi place seems to create. Plus you can order & pay online and pick up! Can’t say enough good things.

After trying several sushi places, Yo Sushi has become our go to. They never mess up our order, and everything has always been so fresh and delicious. Even our small kids love it! Will continue to patronize this restaurant and recommend them!

2 of the veggie rolls fell apart. All 3 of them tasted the same and were not fresh. Served on an old wood board. Agedashi was just short of ok and the tempura sauce tasted kinda like sweet soap. The soda coming out of the Coke labled spout was definitely not Coke! Servers and cashier were very awesome.

Recently started a new job with a yo sushi across the parking lot. Coworkers suggested I try their fantasy role. Its a tempura style roll filled with crab, avocado and other yummy ingredients. It was unbelievable and a fantasy to eat. Nice staff and great cost for end product. Thanks Yo!!

Avoid fake crab to avoid upset tummies. Otherwise fairly good. This place gets very warm on summer days, not something I associate with good sushi. Pricing on Maki seems largely based on how good it tastes, not the cost of ingredients/prep. So even rolls with just a couple simple ingredients are some of the highest priced.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch at Yo Sushi! They have a wide menu, but we opted for the lunch special (teriyaki chicken and California roll) for $10. Generous portions, good flavors. The location doesnt have room for outdoor dining, so we ate in the car while the food was hot and fresh. The bag included utensils and napkins. Thank you for a lovely lunch out!

Had the lunch special and a 2 item box plus 2 rolls and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste! Better than higher priced sushi we’ve had in WC. Will be back! Forgot to take photos but it was delightful!

When your paying $8 for a sushi roll you just remember it’s not a $12 sushi roll. This place is good for the price. Sushi is good and prices are cheap. They have a good selection of different rolls, items, and bento boxes. It’s a good place for some quick carry out on your way home

I want to start by saying I am a regular customer. For the past two years. The Lion King roll is my number one choice. However the past couple times it taste as if it’s not even baked. The last time I asked for it to be fully cooked and it was. However, today I placed an order for pick up and when my husband tried his, he was shocked on how cold his “baked roll” was. I tried mine and it was the same, it looks like it wasn’t even baked just torched on the top. I know you probably think it’s silly most sushi is cold, why are we complaining? But when you order a baked roll, you want a baked roll. I’ve spent lots of money at this location. We’re a family of four, so I roughly spend about $40 or more each time. We don’t mind it but we, just like anyone else would like to get what we pay for. I am writing this review because this has happened a few times before, I’ve given this location time to redeem themselves but it just seems they have become lazy in the kitchen. Today is the first time I called and asked for a refund. This will be my last visit.

Do NOT eat here. This sushi is extreamlt poor quality. Im not writing this to be rude, just trying to save you the disappointment, and money. This Yo Location is not the same as the other locations. The rolls were not even put together correctly and fell apart the second you touched them.

Small joint with a door that doesnt close all the way so u feel the wind the whole time. Pretty fresh fish. They have a variety of sushi combinations. A lot of options for rolls. Customer service is alright. Hamachi kama is recommended.

What a great little restaurant! The sushi was probably the best i have ever had! Each piece was very filling and flavorful! The rice was so fluffy and fresh! Exactly how i dream sushi to be! The prices were great as well! It isnt the fastest service, but i wasnt in a rush :). I got the veggie sushi! Thanks so much! I will definately be coming back if i am ever in the area!

It took about 20 minutes after I paid for my food and ordered it fast food style for them to bring it out piece by piece thank God because the imitation crab meat was rotten to say the best the lemon on my 49er roll almost looks still smells worse I took one bite of it and spit it back out I ask for my money back before the to bring out whatever they claimed to be a lion king roll and the chicken katsu was fried twice and then deep-fried again for good measure to make sure that it was dry that way if it cost you was bad I couldnt tell if the sushi roll is bad its the worst Sushi Ive ever had my entire life... I went to Wingstop after, (next door) very nice people.

This is my favorite sushi restaurant in Martinez. Theres fancy or places that Im sure are good but usually when I get sushi Im not into sitting down and taking an hour or two this place is always busy which means fresh fish and they prepare it perfectly
