Yo Sushi in Vallejo

My favorite sushi restaurant, I go out of my way to dine at any of the locations. I wish this location was here when I lived around the corner. The Angry Lion King is unique and bomb!

Ive been to a lot of places for sashimi all over the country and this has got to be the freshest place to get salmon sashimi that I have been to from Coast to Coast. Coincidentally, its also the first place that Ive actually enjoyed miso soup and oysters. The way they do things here just makes it palpable and easy to try new things and be confident that you wont hate it, its that good. The staff there is super friendly and the prices are great for what youre getting. Highly recommend.

This is a fast food type restaurant. You pay, tip and then they call you to pick up your food. You will not get served. The food is a hit or miss. The saba shioyaki is not bad. The beef teriyaki has a good taste but texture is bad. It looks boiled or stir fried. The portions are very small. Be ready to order extra if you are hungry. You help yourself to ice or hot water outside. It’s a nice clean location to have a simple quick meal.

Too 3 worst sushi I’ve ever had. Ordered a cherry blossom roll and was greeted by a pungent fishy smell upon opening the takeout container. The fish was definitely well past its prime. I picked the tuna and salmon off the roll and my dog wouldn’t even eat it.

I didnt receive all of my food. So I had to go back right before they closed. Then I get back home and now they didnt give me. My sauce for my food. I am not very happy with this yo sushi. The one In fairfield. Is so much better go there all the time and never have had no problems.

First time here. I loved the varity of rolls offered. Pretty fast service. The rolls were tasty and reasonably priced. So many choices that I had trouble picking, everything looked delicious. Ramen, rolls, edamame, california rolls, Philadelphia rolls, crunchy rolls, tempura etc...

Most food here are delicious. No Cali Sub Dragon had the perfect balance of avocado, unagi, deep fried prawn and rice. The side saba on the big platter looks and tasted bad. The Saba Shioyaki meal itself tasted better. Lion King rolls were yums. Will order that again. Poki was made in the basic style yet it’s fresh and delicious.

Very delicious and fresh! Also, its not overwhelming like other places where your stomach gets bloated after eating. Also, the prices are very fair for what you get.

Didnt have gluten-free soy sauce. Macaroon ice cream sandwich seemed old (macaroon was crusty). Good service, though.

Yo! This sushi spot is consistently fresh and delicious. They have an extensive menu and always provides great customer service. It’s a popular place, so expect a little wait- but it’s worth it
