2023-08-07 04:18:59Ignore any bad reviews about this place and let your own experience speak for itself. My friend from South Korea was yearning for some good Korean BBQ and found Yogi. She thought it would be a good choice based on the menu items and how the restaurant was set up as it was very traditional to korean bbqs in South Korea. We went around dinner time for the premium dinner and we had about a 20 minute wait to be seated which was fine. When we were seated we ordered our first 3 meats and checked out the salad bar. Keep in mind this is not like an American salad bar this is more common side dishes in Korea plus sauces/dips/condiments for youre main food (white rice, fried chicken, japchae, ssamjang, garlic, sesame oil, cilantro salad, etc. the pictures are of this salad bar).We were a bit off when our first order of meats took a long time to come out (40-50 minutes) but we were explained that it was due to them having to prep the premium cuts we ordered and how busy they were at the moment. They were very pleasant about everything and honestly if you’re with good company the time doesn’t feel so long.Once the food came out and we started eating we were so happy with every bite we took. The meat was perfect and fresh no matter what we ordered. Staff were very helpful with adjusting our temperature on the grill, changing the pans, and adding water to the grill underneath if needed. They do also have staff that speak Korean if that is important to you for ease of ordering. It definitely made my friend happy since she could ask questions properly. We ended up being stuffed at our 2 hour mark, but they had told us already that due to the long wait we would have extra time if we went past the 2 hours. We drove from Modesto for this restaurant and will happily come back when we’re feeling Korean bbq. 10/10 on all aspects of this place.

Good part is that you can get your own condiment at their buffet station.. They serve alcohol!! Also they’ve robot serving you!!

2023-11-20 23:19:24I can’t find a single fault. It’s clean, well lit, amazing food and just an overall superior experience compared to other Korean BBQ places nearby. Will be back a bunch of times. Also Donny is the MVP, he handled all of my family like pro.

2023-08-05 21:07:582 hours AYCE. UNLIMITED salad bar (more like side dishes bar), good tasting drinks, also got ventilation directly about the grill for less smoke. It pretty pricey but it was well worth it! Fast services!

2023-10-30 14:22:18Had to get my own sides from the buffet bar. The grill is small and the vent is small. Chicken wings were soggy. But I guess its better than nothing. I prefer Oz Korean BBQ in Elk Grove. Bigger grill. Chicken wings there are crispy. And they bring everything to you. No need to get up.

2023-11-21 21:04:56Bottom Line Up Front. If you know Korean BBQ, then you wont be disappointed.First thing to know is lunch is $25 - $35 per person and dinner is more. The cost isnt really comparable to a Chinese buffet and neither is the food. The service is not like hibachi or sushi. The only way to compare Yogi is with other Korean BBQs in the area.Between Modesto, Elk Grove, and Stockton this place sets itself apart because they are the only AYCE Korean BBQ offering a self-service salad bar. The salad bar includes lettuce leaf wraps, steamed rice, soup, vegetables, japchae, and other sides to choose from.I personally cant afford to eat here every week, but I would if I could.

2023-08-07 02:33:07Love this place. Delicious Korean BBQ in Stockton, CA. They have a open salad/ appetizer bar (with limited option of Chicken, Egg rolls and others for the appetizer but nonetheless pretty good for being within reach). The meat was good and certainly didnt leave no leftovers. I cant wait to come back. Definitely a recommendation.
