I had the chicken teriyaki lunch special for around $14. It included miso soup, a small of amount of rather lackless teriyaki chicken, iceberg lettuce salad with dressing, sticky rice and tempura vegetables some of which I don’t usually see in tempura like green pepper and onion.

The food is amazing! The food quality is top notch. Please go even if you do not like sushi! The chefs are such sweethearts and prepare your meal with such efficiency and quickness you wont go hungry for long! The first time we came i was telling the chef how much my boyfriend and I love ginger the next time we went they gave us a ton without having to ask. Talk about special service! The prices are impeccable and again all service staff are very attentive and kind! We got 4 rolls and all were very delicious, highly recommend the CJ and omega roll!

Coworker and I came here for our lunch break. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Clean and prompt friendly service!I ordered the omega roll and the why not roll: Delicious!! Plus, got an order of the streamed gyoza: Amazing!! My coworker ordered the lunch box and it was nicely plated with large serving sizes. Everything was so good. My feet were just tapping away so happy from the food we were eating. Plus, we were in and out in time for our 45 min lunch break. My new favorite sushi spot!!!

The sushi place with a funny name!Having worked in Camarillo for about 3 years now, this is the first time Ive visited Yomama.The 9-1-1 Roll is really good. Nice and flavorful with just the right amount of spice kick that youd think Yomama was slapping you in the face.The steak bento could use some more sauce, but Im not holding that against Yomama.Needless to say, Yomama is my new go-to for a quick sushi bite or a bento.Now if only Yomama would sell me the t-shirt hanging on the wall...

The good is really good. From the chicken katsu to the 4 or 5 different rolls we ordered. It seemed like they may have been short staffed? 1 server and 1 other, not really busser, but she may have been the owner? They were good but some things were a little delayed. They had half the restaurant with no one and the other half was packed. Also leading to the assumption of being short handed. But definitely worth the trip. Great fresh food, very polite and nice in general. Weather I eat there or have it ordered to go, I will be back soon.

My coworkers took me out for my birthday lunch. I dont live in Camarillo like they do, so I am not very familiar with the area. But as soon as I turned into that little shopping center I know where to go. Its a smaller size restaurant, but the service is great. They are super friendly, but the only thing missing is a conditioning. Im not sure if they dont have air conditioning or if they just choose to save energy. When I was there, it was pretty hot with the door open. In regards to the food, it is okay not anything special. Ive had better

Very good Dining experience here always. Ive ate here many times and never had a bad meal. Amazing variety of Sushi Rolls and adaptations of Sushi Rolls. Always fresh. Always full of flavor. Service is a bit of a experience also. Dont get me wrong. The service is great, maybe not always with a smile. Just part of the story. If you want warm and fuzzy. Smiles and yes were you servants. Go somewhere else. If you want good Japanese food. Try it out. Its good. I highly recommend this place

For a quick lunch, group dinner or a bar experience... This place has you covered. I ordered the red dragon roll. It was spicy and sweet, which is what I expected.My wife and 2 year old really enjoy the waitstaff and even though my 2-year-old does not keep everything on his plate, they dont make me feel bad. I love supporting this business.

Second time I ordered here. Left out a roll. Charged 16.00 for Philli roll. Said they didnt charge gor fried tempra.went back to store was in parking lot.called at 8:48. He said we are closed. I told him Im out front Ill pay for roll. He said we are closed at 9. I reminded him it was 8:54. Still dont get my roll. He earned one star.

We went here recently and it is really nice. Everything is clean and the interior is very modern looking. The rolls are really good and are very reasonably priced. if you spend frugally, you can get a decent meal for under 20 dollars, but you can get some really good sushi if you are willing to pay the price. I personally would recommend the not-so-authentic fiesta roll if you never had sushi before, it sounds more like a Mexican restaurant than sushi, but the name fits it. I will highly recommend coming here (and I did this entire post withough making a yo mama joke).

Never ever ever has a sushi restaurant filled my spicy scallop handrolls with minced fake crab to reduce how many scallops theyd put into the handroll until I tried Yomama. They did make them extra spicy as I asked and they were indeed spicy but they were also very sweet from the fake crab which should not be there. Luckily it was a small order to go to know I wont be back.

The absolute best salmon teriyaki ever. Consistently delicious over the years. It’s served Korean style in sizzling hot metal bowl- generous fillet over a bed of healthy cabbage and broccoli. I worked in Korea-town for years and this place just as good.

I think this is the best Sushi in the entire area. Was very sad 😥😩 to see that the restaurant they chose to keep open was in Camarillo and not Thousand Oaks where I am only 5 blocks away. I have been going to Yomama for as long as they first opened in Thousand Oaks, can’t even remember when that was but all my 5 children grew up at that location and ate there frequently.I will make it a point to travel over the grade because their food is so worth it. 😘 Love you Celine and AustinJennifer

The sushi was not fresh. The waitress was rude. She reached over my food to take the menu back. She sprayed winded on the next table and it sprayed over to our table. I went there eight years ago and got food poisoning. I went back today and it was a terrible experience! I will never go again

Underwhelming! Sushi- rice was mushy, had a runny paste appearance and taste. Tempura- you can taste the oil it is cooked in, not changing the oil in the fryer frequently. Chicken teriyaki looked like the chicken was steamed with very sweet t- sauce drizzled over it. Food was served cold. Tea- always expect to have a good cup of tea, well not here. Very disappointed, will not return or recommend.PS. The restaurant was empty.

My wife went inside. The lady gave her attitude. She placed a order and we waited 30 minutes. No food. People after us came in and got food. We got refund and left. I called to make a complaint. The lady was very rude to me. I asked for the manager, he said he was too busy. Awfull service, would not even give one star. Been here before and food was really good. It has been a couple years. I will never go back.

There were a lot of rolls that would be popular if served at a Japanese izakaya. I didnt order regular sushi, but it looked delicious. I thought that it was spicy overseas, but its not that spicy and it doesnt feel strange.Is the lighting in the shop orange? Its a strange feeling. I wonder if its dark for these people...
