This is my third review of this place. My first review about a year ago was great. However I gave them a bad review after returning to the restaurant for a third and fourth time because they didnt treat us well at all during those visits. It seemed that the reason for the indifferent treatment was because we ordered All You Can Eat.I havent been there since my last visit which was about 6 months ago. But I decided to go back today to see if theyd made any progress and offer changes. Well they have! The service was great, the sushi was delicious, and we didnt get the bad treatment we had gotten during those other visits. As long as this continues, Ill need coming back here again and again.

The food is really good. I havent had a bad item yet. The staff is very helpful and allows for accommodations to normal roll. It is a cute little place, but the tables are a bit close together. Today, we were lucky enough to have a stand-alone table, but it was close to a machine that then people waited for their order near. It is my husbands favorite sushi restaurant.

We ordered all you can eat which I thought it was a good deal for $35. Quality of sushi was okay. All rolls were not rolled properly so we had more rolls fall apart so ended up with a ton of rice on our plates. They have good options but lacking flavor.Customer service was excellent. They are definitely on it. Linh definitely took the time on explaining the all you can eat menu. Overall I give it a 7/10.

It was the first time there. I went to get some soup for my bestie who was coming down with a little cough. She wanted miso soup dor it. But I didnt know they had sushi. When I saw the menu. Lawd I was in heaven. I enjoy trying everything on the menu, but I just started 7 dishes this time.😁But I will be back to try more dishes til I reach the last.😋😋😋😋

My family and I have been coming here for years (10 plus to be exact) and we have NEVER had service like we had tonight! We ordered the all you can eat (which we always do) and a separate roll for my kids. The lady left us a menu to keep to reorder if we wanted to and a guy came and told me he needed to take it because the chef doesnt like people to use it as a placemat (then proceeded to place it along side the table against the wall).Then my kids wanted to try a bite of our sushi roll, so we allowed them a bite. Then a lady came and said only people who are eating all you can eat are allowed to eat the rolls. The kids finished the one roll they took a bite then the guy came and said do you want me to add them to the all you can eat no, they were finishing their bite.Then we were watched by three (if not more) people the WHOLE time we ate. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I was so uncomfortable.I once would have said they were great, but their staff make this place horrible. The chefs behind the counter kept making little comments of saying I have a sign where I can refuse service dont worry, based on the reviews before me, you wont be having job much longer.If I could give a zero I would. Dont waste your time, find another sushi restaurant.

Great place to go for food. If you want some good sushi with a decent price then this is the place to go! Some of the best in town for the price you pay! Have had a few issues here and there, but never anything horrendous. Great staff, but the atmosphere seems a bit bland and outdated.

Quaint little place that has an array of different types of specialty rolls and others. I ordered the salmon skin, gyoza, and a veggie rolls and the portion were HUGE! I could have just filled up on one roll. I like this place and we will be back.

Unfortunately food was not good and was a horrible experience. We only had idk drives and two small plates of sashimi brought out to us which made us decide to cancel the rest of our order. When explaining to the server we wanted to cancel the rest of our order, they decided to to have an attitude about it and didn’t apologize saying you already placed the order then walked away. When we received our check we were still charged for everything. Unfortunately I got super sick the next morning from the food and wish this whole situation was handled better.

I have tried this place a few times before and I wouldnt say its the best sushi place in the high desert. I have definitely had better sushi spots with better taste and better pricing. Some of the rolls have no flavor so you are forced to use soy sauce and eel sauce to somewhat enjoy it. Inside of the restaurant also feels small and cramped. If you have shellfish allergies be careful because they package rolls together in the same box. Overall, I feel like I have given this place enough tries to know that I wont be spending my here anymore.

Went to this place today been wanting to try it for awhile. I was so disappointed they serve me old cold chicken that was disgusting then over charged me for the lunch combo because I had them take off the chicken the sushi would of been great if it didnt fall apart. The all you can eat is too pricey!, more than the regular pricing at other places and nothing special about it. They only offer two rounds for the all you can eat and you cannot leave a speck of sushi. Customer service was great! The girls that work there were nice and attentive. There really wasnt anything special or super tasty about the sushi they serve there. It was ok.

We are normally from out of town, but we love getting Yoshi sushi for happy hour whenever we pass through. Right now, happy hour is all day and every day until further notice, which made it a lot easier not having to coordinate a specific time to drop by. Our hands down favorite is the Ocean Fire roll, we get at least a couple of them every time. The mussels appetizer is also a solid choice.Weve definitely had better sushi overall, but this sushi is hard to beat at its price during happy hour. The staff has always been friendly and helpful in the past as well. Definitely recommend giving this place a shot.

The sushi itself is decent however the phone has no voicemail option to tell you the hours of operation in case theyre closed which Im assuming they are. Google, Yelp and Facebook all show them open today but my order was cancelled without a reason. The charge was made on my card anyways and now Im out that money until the refund goes through 3-5 business days.

Let me start with their sushi is delicious 🤤 was just a downer for me that I ordered from their regular menu for takeout and it wasn’t served the same as when I have dinned in before. We call and ask why was the garnish missing they explained that it was the chef’s choice to put or not to put . For me this wasn’t okay I think the same way should be served at all times because it’s expected as the first and other times .

I love this place, it is always clean, they are all very friendly and the food is delicious, my husband and I love the food especially the Nixon and Jackpot sushi, those two are highly recommended, seriously we love it. We really like Happy Hour because besides having low prices it allows us to try different sushi. We go almost every week or every two weeks.

It can get a bit crowded, so thats why Im rating it 4 Stars, I wouldnt recommend this place if you want a nice quiet & relaxing place to eat, its always so busy. OMG I can’t believe I ate that much! The lunch price of $22.50 ( I think) is quite generous, dinner is $27*. Staff were very friendly and attentive, knowledgeable and quick at 3:30-4:00. Honestly this sushi place has simply went down hill. We order all we could eat and the rolls we had received were all different cut sizes and the worse part having 1 roll having the shrimp with the peel on it still. The lady working told us to chew more thoroughly to prevent choking. Alot of places are simply not being up to pair like it was once. I was simply not interested and didnt even go for a second round of the quality.

This place gets busy all the time! Especially during happy hour so the wait can be up to 45 min at times. Same servers every time I come here, so theyre always nice and professional. This location is a lot cleaner than the location off of Kentwood. Price of sushi is not that bad for happy hour.

They have two locations. I frequent the one on Bear valley road more but both are good. The all you can eat price is reasonable. The quality of the sushi is great. My favorite thing to order at the Bear Valley store (the other one doesnt have this) is the High Desert Special. Its soup or salad, two sides and either 2 rolls for $15.99 (or something like that) or 3 rolls for $19.99 (same thing Im not 100% on the price). Sure its from a limited menu but the food is good and the price is really discounted. Ive also eaten the spicy seafood udon which was also really good. They also do take out on the special so you can call in and take it home. Both places have limited parking but there is parking at both not to far out of the way if the main lots fill up.

Sushi rolls were tasty. We had a variety of deep fried, tempura and regular rolls. Flavorful and big sized rolls however, the rolls were not as tight so it made a bit difficult to pick up with chopstick. Service was alright. Prices are decent when you order the Hi-Desert Special that includes appetizer, miso soup and 2 rolls for $16.95 or order of Happy Hour specials.

We got two 8 piece California rolls, one 8 piece UFO, one 8 piece monkey brain, and one 8 piece Philadelphia roll. All for $17! The UFO and Monkey Brain are appetizers. Highly recommend those two items. Best time to come is exactly at 3 when happy hour starts.

This was my favorite sushi location in the High Desert until earlier this year. The food is really good and I like this location better than their location on Palmdale. The have a great variety of rolls, especially for someone like me who doesnt eat shellfish (no crab or shrimp). Unfortunately, we went from going 3-4-times per month to no longer doing business with this restaurant due to a highly unprofessional incident my wife had to deal with when I wasnt with her.

Others were being served around us while we waited for 2 hours and they refused to bring more of the food we had ordered.. I will be arguing the charge in my credit card. Great service, went down to get take out. They were busy, still they were very nice. Food was done quickly, we went outside while we waited, came back to find her waiting to show us all our order before packing it up. offered us a seat and and a drink while they prepared our order. Sushi is a very delicate food item for me. Not all sushi is the same. Some places are cheaper than others and for good reason. Ive had sushi up and down the California coast and Yoshi would fall on the better scale. The service is always very good. The food can be good but sometimes, its lacking in consistency and quality. If youre craving sushi, it does the job.

My family and I have been eating here for a number of years. We usually take advantage of their sushi happy hour. Very good prices. You may have to wait sometimes because alot of people like the happy hour prices. Of all the sushi places I have been to in the high desert, Yoshi puts the largest pieces of fish on the sushi. Service is fast and employees are very nice. As for the sushi it is excellent and prepared perfectly. The only con is that the parking lot is for alot of businesses including Starbucks with a drive through. This makes finding a parking space difficult at times. An A+ for Yoshi Sushi.

Had lunch here today with my husband. My husband had the soft shelled crab salad and an order of uni. I had the the escolar sashimi and a salmon skin hand roll. The food was fine except the salmon skin was burned and so bitter that I couldnt finish it. Which is a shame because salmon skin rolls are the one thing I always order. I told the waiter about it and I saw him talk to the manager (I am assuming it was the manager, she appeared to be someone in a position of authority.) after which nothing happened. The inedible roll was not taken off our bill. The prices here are not reasonable enough to let something like that slide. If you pay $50 for lunch, you expect it all to be edible. Also, the bathrooms are rundown and unpleasant. We wont be coming back here. :(

Every time I go here I get the Hawaiian Poke.. instead of tuna I change it to salmon...it’s always great.. good portion of salmon. Usually I can’t finish it all because of how much I get. It’s pricey but definitely worth it. Today I had to do a To Go order due to a busy schedule. Mind you I’ve been craving this for like weeks!! I get home to eat it and I can rarely find any salmon. The portion well I’ll just say I finished it in less than 5 mins. Even the cut of the salmon was different. Which it’s ok.. I’m just upset of it all today.. on top of it all this was the first time they charge me $1.00 extra for salmon. I’m a very understanding person.. but all of this change at once I just can’t take!! I guess next time I’ll just have to make the time to sit in.. and get a better experience than today.

Our favorite dish here is the languistino fire rolls. They are always very friendly and have excellent happy hour specials. They offer free refills on fountain drinks and gave me free pineapple sake on my birthday! It was incredible and super strong lol. If you have a big appetite the all you can eat menu is hard to beat. Im still trying other places out but so far, this is my favorite sushi restaurant in the area.

I liked nothing about this place. The immitation crab was green. They did not serve me alcohol because they couldnt read a military ID. The servers were really short with me and did not make me feel comfortable. It wasnt busy at all and the cold took 30 minutes to come to our table. I would not recommend this to anybody

All you can eat is a lie. You are only allowed 2 rounds. After that, you cannot order more. How is that all you can eat? They have no answer for this. They tell you to order more per round, but will still charge you for left overs.... The food itself is not bad, but not worth the expense.

After sitting in traffic for 2 hours we thought it would be nice to treat ourselves to sushi, wow, this restaurant was the wrong choice. As soon as they saw all you can eat marked on the menu the entire staff switched a gear to bitchy, unresponsive, stingy, and rude. You are not an appreciated customer here. We ordered a variety of things from the all you can eat menu, which has several rules the waitress very rudely went over with us as if we were the rif Raf begging for money on our way though the parking lot. When the orders came to the table, 5 of the same roll was delivered, not the variety we ordered. Meat was very thinly sliced and almost non existant. We effectively spent $100 to be treated like trash while being served mostly crab meat and rice.. if you dont know what good sushi is, like being ignored and insulted by service, appreciate heartburn for the rest of your night, and like fake smiles and un interested thank you when you try to talk to a manager, then yoshi sushi in Hesperia is for you. I dont understand lazy/ rude servers not trying to earn a tip, or restaurant keeping such servers on the floor to represent its image. I would definitely manage the business differently.

We ordered a few rolls and I was pretty shocked that they said a 50 cent charge per a side of eel sauce and spicey mayo.... All the other sushi places that Ive been to has never charged for a side of that especially if youre ordering rolls.
