Unfortunately, the shrimp tempura is the worst that Ive ever tasted. It didnt even look like shrimp tempura. The sushi rolls are good, the nigiri Toro is really good.

They offer 10% off the food in happy hour from 9pm to 11pm. Really fast and friendly services. The squid salad is really delicious.

Pros: helpful servers, nice decoration, good food, large portionsCons: not many noodle options, green tea was served in a metal cup that is usually used for cold drinks. They didn’t have to-go cups and we had to have our drinks in bowls to take out.

If youre in Milpitas and havent dined at Yoshi Sushi, youre missing out on a true hidden gem! Not only is their sushi top-notch, but their genuine and authentic service sets them apart. Its a breath of fresh air in a city where most spots shut their doors by 8 or 9pm.Yoshi Sushi, however, caters to both the early birds and night owls with their expansive operating hours from 11am to 11:30pm.Dive into their lunch specials from 11am to 3pm and, if youre a late diner like me, dont miss the late-night happy hour from 9pm to 11:30pm.The discounts are phenomenal – 10% off food, 20% off sake wine, and a whopping 30% off beer. Its a rarity to find such generous offerings, especially combined with an extensive 10-page menu.To those few with negative comments, I genuinely believe its a reflection of their mindset rather than the restaurant.Lifes too short for negativity.Instead, appreciate the beauty and efforts of small businesses like Yoshi Sushi.Cheers to many more delicious meals here! 🍣 #SupportLocal #HiddenGemOfMilpitas

The texture of my roll tastes weird so I looked inside and I see soggy bread crumbs that appears to be used as stuffer for the roll. The roll I ordered doesn’t contain any tempura, the filling should be scallops, don’t know why there are soggy break crumbs in my roll. The fish they used isn’t fresh, also got a piece of bones about half an inch long.

Sushi rice are hard as rock, they definitely used the old rice from last night. Sashimi is not fresh and taste pretty bad, never seem any raw fish like this. Only 6 sushi per roll. Save your money, don’t waste your time and money on this restaurant.

Tried the angry dragon roll (spicy tuna on top of dragon roll) was good. The service was pretty fast and the price was okay for the ambience.

I had such a nice experience here. The staff was polite and worked fast.💸The total check was $70 ($35 per person).🧃At first, we ordered drinks: Orange Ramune, Strawberry Ramune. Its served in bottles and tricky opened. In my opinion, the Strawberry Ramune is more tasty than orange. But next time, Im not going to order them ;)We choose 3 rolls from the exoctic section:🍣Yoshi Special Roll $16.50 was incredibly delicious. It says that it has light spicy, but it was super light (its OK for me because I am scared of super spicy food).Super soft and melt in mouth, all ingredients were well thought out and perfectly matched with each other: shrimp tempura, spicy crab meat, cream cheese, topped with avocado, spicy mayo, unagi sause, cranch. Roll was a huge, more than other rolls.Definitely deserve attention, and now it’s clear why they are branded.🍤 Dragon Roll $16.50. However, the first roll was tastier. Anyway, all the ingredients were fresh: shrimp tempura, crab meat, cucumber, topped with avocado, BBQ eel, and unagi sause. Im sure a lot of people will like this roll.🦁Lion King Roll was hot and had strong salmon flavor. If you like baked salmon, its roll for you. I like how it served: on a leaf (a great idea).⛩️I like the interior (they have ~20 tables), in the middle of the room you can watch your meal being prepared, everything was clean.Thank you, and good luck☺️

Automatically, they served water, wasabi, and ginger up front. The background playlist was modern music My autistic son successfully ordered his teriyaki chicken on his own and really enjoyed it. I ambitiously ordered the delicious Spicy Ramen soup, which had more heat than I can handle. Meanwhile, my wife ordered us the Agadashi tofu as our appetizer, which tasted good but looked greasy compared to other Japanese restaurants. My wife ordered the Rainbow roll and Chirashi which were delicious, but the Chirashi sashimi was cut large. My complaint is the wobbly table and appetizer served with entrees at the same time.
