Im not a sushi person, but the people here are nice and really patient! The food I ordered was pretty good. I love their salad dressing (tastes homemade) and the chicken teriyaki was pretty tasty. 😋

Adding a couple photos from our most recent visit.Initial Review: Always an incredible experience here. I could go on and on about how spectacular the food is here yall. A must try, top quality high desert sushi. The Chiznut, Wild Zebra add thin slices of lemon and a Sunshine roll will have you doing great. Trust me.Great cuts of fish, great portions, great prices, incredible staff, the owner is cool as heck... Theres just tons to love about this joint.

This is the best sushi spot in the HD!! Happy hour is all day everyday. The staff greets you as you walk in and are very kind. My favorite appetizer is the heart attack which is a stuffed jalapeño with crab and deep fried!! They have many options to choose from when it comes to rolls, you will not be disappointed.

I went with a friend and my daughter. Food is good. But the a couple of the waitresses could use a little more customer service training. They seemed irritated. My friend ordered mackerel w/o sauce and she didnt receive it until she was almost done with her meal. When she did get it had the sauce on it. The food preps didnt like that it was sent back. But she did specifically write it on the order form. Other than that the food is good.

We love this place! Happy Hour always hits the spot with deals on rolls and sake. I would give a 4.3 if I could for stars, I feel a four might be too low but 5 is too high. This place is solid. Weve never had a bad experience but its definitely not a high end sushi location... The prices arent high though, so it all lines up. Well worth the price. =]]

This place has went down hill! You guys never answer your phone? Why have one then, thats so unprofessional...I ordered the veggie roll and all there was in it was lettuce. Wheres the avocado and carrots? Garbage. Also, the lettuce was old inside. The last few times Ive went there you guys have upped your prices and the quality of the food went down and portions are so small for all other items... I wont be coming back. Tokyo or Samari sushi is so much better!

Food was great but the service and the waitresses seem a little bit annoyed or probably tired of their job. They rarely smile or seem happy unless theyre talking to the guys or with each other. Their face is very serious. Ive had to get up and grab my own straw or chopsticks napkins etc... I guess you dont have to worry about leaving a tip

The service was great. All the workers were very nice and had great customer service. The hot Cheeto roll was so delicious I highly recommend. The other roll I got was okay, the salmon & shrimp inside was a little too fishy so I didnt really care for that roll & it was hot inside, not sure if the ac was broken or they didnt have one but I would definitely return.

I came here for the AYCE sushi today. My son and I sat at the bar. Sushi chef was amazing. Service was great. We had some rolls and sashimi. I like the new table menus that make it easy to pick your sashimi and rolls. We were then able to check of the amount we wanted quite easily on our order sheet.We will continue coming back for more! Great service! Delicious sushi!

Didnt even stay to eat. Once we walked in and saw the chef swatting flies above the food, and also the food crusted on the roof above the chefs station, we left... Yoshi sushi is the go to spot for sure!Today I got the 007 roll, its topped with spicy crunch but it wasn’t crunchy ☹️ it was more of an orange mush on top of my roll. The roll by itself was good tho. Their chicken teriyaki was 🔥 I feel like they gave us a pretty good amount of chicken & white rice 😋

I love this place! Beautiful pieces of fish. The baked mussels are not small. They dont skimp on the portion size. The flavor is delicious. The service is great! Very friendly and helpful! I recommend this Yoshi sushi on Kentwood. The Yoshi Sushi in Hesperia is not as good. This one is terrific!

This is my boyfriend favorite place to eat and now my sons favorite place. I cant eat fish and they have 2 dishes that I can eat and they make sure that I dont have any seafood/fish on my plate and usually put extra veggies on my plate. The workers are always friendly and very helpful. They have one worker that remember me and she always make use that the cooks keeps the fish/seafood away from my dish even when shes not our waiter.

Vibe was good. Sushi was eh 🍣. Its a lively atmosphere I got my sushi to go and when I picked it up I kinda wished I had eaten in.I got the spicy rainbow roll and the yoshi dragon roll. The rainbow is basically a spicy tuna roll with fish on top and I usually love spicy tuna rolls, but i didnt finish this one cuz it was meh. The dragon roll was pretty good but I still hoped for better. The dumplings were just decent.

This place is out of line . Served my food on a dirty chiped dishes . My rolls were falling apart before I even touched them . No care given to the preparation of the food or presentation. First time going to eat here. I had ordered from D/D last week and absolutely loved the fresh sushi. So decided to visit in person.... great staff, awesome food and service was top knotch. Recommend the Philadelphia lunch combo. Food came out fresh and the taste was great.

We Took Our daughter here for the 1st time for take out. Its cute outside but The Entrance inside to order was too small for people to take a order and have guest leave at the same time. You have to move or walk out to let them leave then go back in. Other than that, The Service was Good the girls didnt have much energy and werent very friendly buuuut they were probably tired so I feel it. But the food was Good and will be returning Highly Recommend. :) oh and I loved the guest drawings dbz :)

We love this sushi spot. Food is great! However, it just sucks the way they want to run their schedule. Place says it closes at 10, well show up at 8-8:30 and well get told that they wont take any one dining in, only to go orders. Its only 2 of us.

I had never been to this location but I like this one way better than the other one. Its way more spacious and they are really creative with their specials of the day. The staff is cool. Some more funny than others. They were all very attentive though, even when it got pretty busy.

Thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Met my sister who I hadnt seen in awhile and we chatted for 1.5 hours. The place was friendly. Sushi was great. I ordered the dragonfly, Crunch roll, and a custom roll with the items I enjoy. All were great. I left full, but not painfully so. The windows were painted with a frosted sea scene that was beautiful. Tried to gets pics of them, but they just dont come out well. The building has a lighthouse motif.

The food is good, although a bit pricey, but competitive with other sushi restaurants. They have a large selection of sushi rolls as well as other bento box-type foods. You are sure to leave full. Staff are friendly and attentive and food is served quickly after ordering. There is a small parking lot in the front and a small parking lot in the back, as well as street parking.

There were scallops in something there should have just been crab meat. Took forever to get food and check... Sent a roll that I didnt order instead of what I ordered. Didnt care to order more for them to mess up. This used to be one of my favorites, however, I will never be back again. There was a cockroach crawling across the dining room floor and it went under the wall into the sushi prep area. Also, the floor is really gross and whatever is on it is tracked outside on the steps by the front door. The wait staff was super nice though.

Happened upon this place because our other one was only taking cash for the evening. When I say this is the best sushi house I’ve ever been to, I mean it. I am brand new to sushi and there has not been a single item on the menu I haven’t enjoyed yet. The entire staff is incredible and quick. I’ve never had a drink hit the bottom of the glass or ran out of condiments. I’m blown away by the attentiveness of the staff and the quality of the food. The overall vibe is great and I can’t wait to come back every time I leave.

Got rid of all you can eat which is why we went in the first place. Ordered off the regular menu and received half of our order. Waitress wouldnt even look our way and I finally had to raise my voice to catch another waitresses attention. She gave attitude after I explained that we hadnt received half of our order and it was another 20+ minutes until I flagged down another waitress and got some results. Never asked us if we wanted refills, more sushi, nothing. Service was absolutely awful.Ive been here a few times in the past before they got rid of all you can eat sushi and the service has always been decent. Now that A.Y.C.E is gone and the service is terrible we wont be back. I can spend less somewhere else and get a better experience/vibe.Its truly sad watching all these restaurants trying to capitalize by raising their prices and giving less because of covid. My daughter and granddaughters brought me here as a special treat and it was definitely a treat. Since then weve made it a regular place to go when theyre in town and the food is delicious. There are so many items to choose from and everything you get is fresh and the service is excellent. There is a sushi bar you can sit at or relax and dine at one of the tables. So this is my husbands and mine go to sushi place! For the last two years since we moved up the hill. However sometimes it’s a hit or miss depending on who is working from the sushi cooks to the server you get. Becca is hands down the best server in that place she goes over and beyond to make sure you leave happy, while there are other servers who just try to rush you out and will forget about your table completely. Now for the sushi cooks don’t know them by name but we definitely have our favorites as well, while they make sure the sushi pieces are cut thoroughly and not just thrown together to get your order out.

Slow and inaccurate service. Took 30+ to receive our first ayce round, and we never received several items we ordered. Sushi was ok quality, however the preparation and size of the fish varied with each order.We made a reservation for 17 people, and were given 24hrs notice of cancellation of our reservation, and now we have no way of rescheduling such a large reservation at any other restaurant. We have been regulars here for 3 years with an average $150 bill. We will no longer eat at Yoshi Sushi.

Food is better than most sushi places in the High Desert. The rolls are always tasty and the servers are always nice. The wait is sometimes long for random items, like drinks/refills. The chefs seem friendly, the tables and bathroom is kept clean, and the atmosphere is always nice. The music is loud enough to notice, low enough not to distract from conversations, and great if you like a modern variety - nothing dated. I always have a good meal and nice time at Yoshi.

It can be expensive coming to Yoshi Sushi thats why I always come here during happy hour (which I believe is from 3pm to 5pm–theres another happy hour at night).The service is okay. They check up on you and give you your food as fast as they can. Some of the waiters there can be really awkward when they are handing you your food. I can barely hear some of them and they wait until you say something even if you make eye contact at them and nod.The tempura sushi rolls are delicious especially with the sauce on top. The raw type of sushi is good as well. The water does taste like its from the tap like most restaurants do.Its not an authentic Japanese sushi restaurant if that is what you are expecting/looking for.If youre looking for a chill and good sushi place around the area this place is it.Even though service is not A+ in my book at least the food makes up for it.

This restaurant is just a couple of miles from my house and Ive always wanted to try it. My non-sushi loving boyfriend took me there on New Years Day. What a lovely surprise! I ordered one of their hot Sushi dishes with scallops on it. It was a large portion and was good but the temperature was not that hot. I also had the salmon skin hand roll which was really yummy. Both sakes we ordered were lukewarm but other than that I really enjoyed it. They had a special on sake of buy one get the second for a dollar. The service was wonderful and Im sure well return. Im anxious to try some of their fresh sushi.

I would rate 5 stars but after my most recent visit, I have to drop it to 2 stars. New server there had a very negative attitude. We were sat down but the table we were given was way too close to another family sitting next to it and it was next to their backroom entrance. We moved tables and the new server got upset, and insisted multiple times that we move back to where we were originally sat. I said I wanted to sit at the other table or at least the other table infront but still insisted on us moving back to the bad table. Decided to walk away and came to Sushiaru instead. My most favorite, go to place for sushi! Come here at least once or twice a month. There prices are reasonable and they have all you can eat for $25. This is the original and they make it more authentic in my opinion. Ive been here several times. The food is good but on our way out after spending$75 we noticed they had just recieved a c rating from the health department on 6/25/19. I laughed because what else could i do at that moment. I paid and left. On my way out i saw a dead roach outside the door. The hotel next door has had roaches since early 2000s. This maybe partly why they recieved the c rating from the health department. It would be hard to combat such an issue if your neighbor wont deal with their pest problem. I can only give 3 stars due to uncertainty of newly acquired c rating.

Sets the standard for sushi in the high desert. I enjoy sushi that is fresh, tasty, and priced right. Our table ordered the Baked Mussles, 007 roll, and albacore delight roll. These dishes are found at other sushi bars but at Yoshis they just taste better. The balance of flavors are not dominated by sauces, one can taste the ingredients and components for what they are. The sushi might not be the best we ever had but in the small town like Victorville, its more than a good one you can find.They have fresh fish and good salad, i like the seaweed salad they have, its rich and flavourful.One other thing is that they serve good eater, their portion is large compare to other places so make sure you can eat them all before ordering.If you are a washabi eater, make sure to order along with food because they wont bring them out by default, so I had to ask several trips of the server for wasabi and ginger.

Service was bad. Found hair in water. The server then pulled the hair out of the water at the table and attempted to state it was one of ours. My friend was bald due to chemo, her husband has very short hair, I have black short bobbed hair. The hair was long straight brownish red. We had a terrific experience at Yoshi while driving through Victorville. We walked there from our hotel, found all the staff we talked with friendly and helpful and were pleased to find the conscientious covid precautions. On a long and unavoidable drive, those benefits alone would have made our day.But the food was the clincher. We ordered 2 hand rolls and 5 nigiri plus two side salads (we were hungry). All were delicious, and the total price came to just under $43.If we lived in Victorville, we would be regulars, but it is also definitely worth considering as a meal stop if you are on your way through.

I am so disappointed and puzzled I do not know why this place is even in business as a sushi place I bet you the owner isn’t Japanese and even worse they have no clue how to prepare Japanese food to standard.I tried three different items from the menu they were all horrible almost tasted like left over sushi. I had not been here in years and as we walked in I realized why. The staff at first would not acknowledge our prensence. After they finally took time to greet us the young lady went to clean up a table which was no problem but the fact that she kicked trash from one table to another instead of picking it up was alarming. The menus were sticky, the plates they gave us for our food were dirty with crusty leftovers on them. The appreance of the food was alright but the sushi was served warm (not a cooked roll), and my husband who ate a bulk of the food was sick for 3 days. A huge menu to choose rolls from served several different ways. A kids menu and traditional American food is offered as well. Alcohol and non alcoholic beverages are available.The service is great, however my absolute reason I go is the ALL YOU CAN EAT lunch and or dinner specials! I SWEAR ITS TRUE. Are ya sitting down the lunch special is under $20.00, the dinner is under $25.00! You can buy rolls 1 or 2 if that floats your boat. Depending on the ingredients they can cost from a merger $6.00 for a California Roll [it has no seafood in it] or upwards of $20.00 for an exotic poison puffer Blowfish.Certain hours apply, Id call ahead for specific times and days.When I sit down I eat! My personal best, 8 to 10 rolls alone. These arent itty bitty small hot dog size rolls. Oh no folks these are burrito round with about 8 serving pieces per. The spicy mayo and Eel sauces are fantastic drizzled on by the talented chefs however order them on the side for extraordinary tasty dipping experience!Lets do some simple math so youll see the advantage to Yoshis.Yoshis average roll costs $8.50 ea. Best in a long time. Head chef.. I call him Ken :) serves fresh Osaka style sushi. Being Japanese Ive grown up eating the same. Super respect to the effort and art of their work.

Me and my bf usually go to oasis sushi because we love the food and the waitresses are great and took the time to get to know us... But today we wanted to try an all u can eat sushi place and I came across yoshi sushi! $20 all u can eat before 4pm and happy hour from 3 to 5 pm was excellent! Happy hour is half price rolls and appetizers! The prices are great and affordable for two young college students on a budget! I honestly think yoshi sushi is our new spot! :))

They have a C rating from the health department and I didnt notice it until after i ate. They have good food but if i wouldve known they werent clean I wouldve never eaten there.

The food is delicious and well priced. Plenty of raw, tempura and baked rolls. Its pretty big inside and a good place for a group of people.
