If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Everything on the menu was unbelievable and the staff was SUPER friendly and hard working. I recommend the spicy pork plate, takoyaki and any of the ramen flavors. This place is just amazing. Do yourself a favor and try this food!!

Ive gone here probably 5 times the past year. They never have disappointed me and dont expect them to.Me and my friend two days ago got their spicy (mild) tonkotsu ramen. The ramen noodle itself felt a little bit more stringy in texture but still delicious nevertheless. We got their gyoza and it was good but it does feel a little pricey for the amount we got.The customer service or the girls who attended us that day were so gorgeous and accommodating. That day they didnt have the volume on their TV like the last few times we went not that its relevant to the food but usually me and my friends watch whatever is on when we are feeling a little tired.I love that they are generous with the seaweed in our ramen. The ladies handled it with care when they attended us and were always enthusiastic. This ramen place is always my safe spot at The Source when Im not splurging on sweets and albums lol.The atmosphere is always so home-y and has nice hues of orange and reds with delightful decor.If you dont like Ramen, then I highly recommend their deep fried food platter or their spicy tuna rolls. But Ramen is their speciality imo.In the picture I forgot to mix in the chili paste but my friend has hers mixed already for context. Thats the gyoza we received.

Located at the third floor of The Source along Beach Blvd, Yoshiharu Ramen looks out of place among the Korean restaurants scattered in the mall.They have a good number of offerings on their menu from ramen (duh) to sushi to gyoza and takoyaki.The price range is on par with the other food spots here.The sushi we order broke down easily when you use your chopsticks but it does taste good.The lobster Ramen which is on sale at $25 was so good. The lobster had that smokey taste and the mussels were fresh.

One of the best ramen place in Buena Park. Service is unbeatable, and the food is delicious. Our waitress, skye is so friendly, she made our experience unbeatable. The ramen portion is huge. I especially love the miso ramen and their karage chicken. The chicken Karage is dangerously delicious, and every time Ive come here, its the one thing I order over and over. The decor is nice and modern. Seating is limited because the restaurant is quite small, but hey, its definitely worth the wait.

I got the chicken ramen and I wish there was more because it was so good!😋 I also got some Egg Rolls and they were crispy on the outside and warm/tasty on the inside! My friends also really enjoyed their ramen! We were seated almost immediately in their outdoor seating and I think I enjoyed my ramen even more because the ramen was warm. Very tasty

Had a great meal here and enjoyed the variety of dishes available! We had their tonkotsu shoyu, tonkotsu miso, spicy beef bowl, takoyaki, and okonomiyaki. The appetizer takoyaki and okonomiyaki were crisp on the outside, the presentation was good, and they came out fast. The beef bowl was decently spicy, the meat was very tender and it filled me up. The ramen broth was rich and the chashu was well prepared. The boys ate up the ramen and left nothing behind. The beer was also well priced here and we had a great meal

Horrible meal experience. Do not come here. They ran out of chicken and eggs and ice. They ran out of cups and spoons because they did not do dishes. It’s under new management and food is substandard and has no taste. Do not come here. It’s worst meal I have ever had in my entire life.

Its good, but I couldnt really taste it coz my tongue was burned by the Level-1 spicy tongkutsu spicy miso. But if you look at the picture, theres that red-spicy paste there... Well I thought its a mild spicy paste... As it turns out, their mild is FIRE! ... Unless... You (the guest) were to mix the amount of spicy paste, thats All-ready in your ramen, according to the guests desire... Oh cmon... the servers could have mention all that & omit asking what is the preferred level of slice... I didnt wanna complain to wait for another 15 min to have a new one... I was recommended this place by a coworker.I ordered the Tonkotsu Black and karaage....I regret coming here.The ramen was bland, and had about 2cm worth of oil on top of it.Every bite was nothing but oil.The karaage had no flavor nor spices, even using all the lemon didnt help.The mayo for the chicken was the only saving grace, but thats really sad to say when this is a ramen shop.

I was so disappointed they had me wait AN HOUR when I was originally told 20mins for my take out sushi.Look at it. Do you call THAT sushi(the pic is before I even ate anything-all I did was open the box)??? It looked horrible. The worst sushi i’ve ever bought in my life. Taste wise and look wise. I came back three times and they kept adding time saying it still wasn’t done and to make up for it in the end, they had offered me a free Japanese soda WHICH I NEVER RECEIVED! The staff seemed nice but this service was totally unacceptable. i’m never going here again.

This place is overated.It is located in the new Source mall, very easy to spot. However, the food was not impressive. I read some reviews on Yelp and thought I would give it a try on a weekday night. No lines, the server was not very attentive. I ordered a black Tonkatsu and a curry bowl to-go. The ramen broth was very blend, lacking depth. My guess is they probably didnt cook the broth long enough. The curry bowl was worse. Very salty and no veggies.I would not come back again and will not recommend to anyone if they are looking for authentic ramen.

I used to love go here. Today me and my husband had the worst experience sadly we went to celebrate my birthday. This happened around 6pm. We got our Ramen but at the time of pay the total was about $58 we were going to pay cash (as we have done it before) the waitress was so rude and told us they did not had change, card only. My husband told him okay give me a sec, he(waitress)rolled his eyes. At the end my husband pay debit and he noticed that a tip was added already we did not like the service to my husband take out the tip, and the waitress got so mad, he just turned and dont even say thanks or good night as he did with other customers.

- updated 1/28/2022 - My son and his friends go here almost every weekend so when his birthday came around I called Yoshiharu to see if we could do a small party and reserve an area. They worked so hard with us to make this happen, holding the outdoor seating area for our group and providing really amazing service for us. It was such a pleasure to work with them and really experience what great hospitality should be. Of course the Ramen is fantastic, good enough to bring my son and his friends back there repeatedly. I cannot say enough good things about the service and the food here!

The food was decent but the service was terrible. My son and my order came out promptly but my moms order came out until I notified the server, and then it came total time 20 mins later. The problem supposedly was the printer was down. Doesnt make sense when 2/3 orders came out. By the time my moms food came my food was cold because I was waiting on her ramen to come. Asked the employee if a manager was around and was told no. Check came, carried on. We wont be coming back.

This place is always horrible to recieve customers. Theres no communication between team members. I was waiting for a while for my pick up order and it was just sitting there ready on a table. Team members didnt inform others that I was already there waiting for my order to pick up. This shouldnt happened or at least let other team members know that Im already here to pick up. I had to grab the order on my own because no one was approaching me to ask for a name. Horrible experience. This isnt the first time this has happened!!

*Not about the Food Warning* This is getting a low score on the fact we went recently and they had PLENTY of open tables but the servers would not greet us or sit us unless we signed in on their tablet at the front with a yelp account. I dont have yelp, I hate yelp, and no one in my group had yelp. So they turned away a party of 4 for dinner. They had 2 groups of people seated, They werent busy and they didnt seem to care that we couldnt sign in. When we asked if we could be seated they just pointed at the tablet again..Its a shame because the food looks good. We ended up going to the pho shop down the way.Please allow walk ins or other methods of guest check in. Im not going to install an app, create an account, and sign in on your tablet just to get a table.

It was good, I got the tonkatsu black with some spicy paste in it, the kara age fried chicken. I believe that it was worth the price, it was about 13 for the ramen, 3 dollars for the paste, 4 for the chicken as a part of the ramen combo. I thought it was good, and its in a good location too.

Havent been here in over a year. Wow. I do not remember it being so disgusting. They brought the bowls of ramen to our table and the smell was overpowering, and not in a good way. I couldnt stomach it at all. I tried the broth, the noodles... not even the egg or chashu could save them. I had to send it back. I know thats not really something that asian places do... but i could not eat it. I paid for the other 2 bowls of ramen that werent eaten either. What a waste. Definitely not going back. But... the service was good! Thats why i gave them 2 stars instead of 1 star. They tried to make things right. I just could not eat it.

Had the signature Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen and Chashu pork bowl. Both dishes were very good. The ramen both was toasty and light with good flavor and paired well with the firm slightly wavey noodles. The star of both dishes was the fatty melt in your mouth chashu pork though. Service was quick but plan for a wait if you come with more than two as the seating is limited.

Probably the worst ramen place Ive been to in recent times, karaage has a bad after taste, the ramen and all of its components were precooked elsewhere, chasehew was cold and mildly warm, egg was cold and the noodles werent cooked with the broth so they didnt absorb any flavor, just plain. Takoyaki was also fake, they just deep fried batter with octopus chunks. I didnt have thier sushi but I bet their Wasabi is fake too.

Whats that black, oily goo in my ramen?Thats what makes the magic happen!Tonkotsu black ramen is Yoshiharu Ramens signature dish. The black refers to the black garlic oil, which adds richness & garlic undertones to the already rich 10 hour boiled pork broth, chock full of collagen, gelatin & amino acids.Tonkotsu black ramen-While the ramen noodles werent quite al dente enough for me, nor were they curly as I prefer, Yoshiharus tonkotsu black ramen is a respectable bowl of ramen. The kikurage, bamboo shoots, green onions, sesame seed & tender cuts of pork chashu all blended well, save for one caveat - no included egg! Being asinine, in my opinion, to spend extra bucks for one soft boiled egg, and seeing how it already comes with an egg, I recommend ordering Yoshiharus spicy miso ramen, instead. Its my usual go-to at any ramen shop, anyways. However, back to black, the garlic oil permeated the fatty broth, enhanced by my generous application of chili oil. Upon finishing, my belly was full and my lips smacked together with the remnants of pork broth on my palate.Being a bit on the quaint side, Yoshiharu is not good for large groups. However, the dining room is perfect for lunch/dinner dates and going solo.Service was good. I didnt wait very long from the time I ordered until my food arrived. Parking is free at The Source parking structure, with Yoshiharu Ramen greeting visitors on the second floor.After test driving a Model X at the Buena Park Tesla Service Center, I found a bowl of tonkotsu black ramen at Yoshiharu Ramen nailed it for my lunchtime fix. On par in regards to ramen pricing with nearby competitors, Yoshiharu has plenty of parking at The Source and there was a lack of a line and a table available when I went, which cant be said for some ramen shops I frequent. The lack of egg was a bummer, but de rigueur for most restaurants, and Im looking forward to trying Yoshiharus spicy miso soon. If you are looking for a lighter ramen thats not too fatty, then this is the place for you. If youre looking for ramen with a rich and flavorful broth that sticks to the noodles and lingers in your mouth, this is not the place for you. The broth is flavorful and not at all salty, but the flavor just sort of disappears right after you eat it so to me it wasnt very satisfying. The abundance of wet seaweed (wakame) imparts a pretty strong seaweed flavor on the broth compared to other ramen that has the one piece of dry seaweed
