I ordered the Shio Tonkotsu Ramen, the rest of my family had the Miso Tonkotsu Ramen. We also ordered 3 sushi rolls to share. The sushi was average. The ramen was excellent.👌 The restaurant appeared to be understaffed. One hostess/waitress, a lady bussing tables, and a man, possibly the owner, bringing out the food.They mistook our order. Originally, my wife did not order Ramen, but they brought out an extra one. We said we would take it and pay for it, but they ended up not charging us for it.I would recommend this place for the ramen, the taste of the broth, the done-ness of the noodles and egg, and serving size were all perfect.

Unsure if it’s up to health/sanitization code. Opened three different pairs of chopsticks with white and black mold on them and the broccoli and mushrooms seemed rotten. The seat had hair and crumbs on it as well.

This was the perfect rainy afternoon dinner to warm us up! The server/hostess (Anh) was so kind and accommodating that we changed our order from take out to dine in and got to enjoy an incredible vegetarian ramen and fried tofu fresh. I can’t say enough good things about how quickly and completely we were taken care of. It was a super busy stretch of weekend traffic, but the staff handled the steady flow beautifully. I would definitely visit again and recommend this location to anyone who asks!

There was a decent amount of wait before you get the table. Make sure you check in online on yelp to get in line for shorter wait. Good service & great staff. Parking right outside. Delicious food. No hot sake available (could be bad timing) they had cold sake.

One of my favorite Ramen restaurants to dine in/take out. I enjoy their spinach noodles in their spicy Tonkatsu broth (medium heat level). The Takoyaki (octopus balls) is decent here.

Very good Ramen and a large selection of Japanese appetizers. Inside is small but each booth has a divider from the rest which gives a nice sense of privacy. The service isnt super quick so probably not great for a lunch break but I didnt really mind the wait. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

I went there now. The California roll seemed to be rotten when I tried 2 pieces. Also the tuna roll was so big to eat . I thought the kitchen didnt want to make it since first rolls in dish were not big but in second order, rice seemed to be made of rotten rice and each size was too big and less pieces. The rice taste was bad but they provided only four pieces of rolls for compensation. It was joking..? I understand there were not much caring customers . No customers there when I visited there at 1 pm. So I understand why there were not busy

The broth was too salty and Luke warm and when they added the hard boil eggs, made the both even more cold due to the eggs being refrigerate. The meat could not really get cooked on the broth because it was cold. The appetizer was delicious buy not the main course .The place was very clean buy overall I was not very impressed.

This place is great, big serving with plenty of veggies, other places charge per item, spicy paste was really good, made my noodles even better, by the way, if you want more noodles just ask, they are free.We found out there is like 5 locations and we will definitely go check them out.The only down side to this and the reason I rated 4 stars was the place was way too loud, tables are too close together and to make it feel more private, they have a added some removable paper walls between the tables, basically feels like you are seating next to the other group... Anyway, do not miss it, you will enjoy it.

September 02, 2022, I stopped by for the first time around 1:00 pm for lunch; what a mistake. When your air conditioner is out, you should inform those who want to stay and eat inside your restaurant; this wasnt outside seating. I asked the waiter, and she noticed the same thing that it was hot; hint, the waiter, should have said something or checked why it was so hot; this is a place that serves ramen soup! Second, whats with all the flies? I should have stopped by big lots next door and purchased a fly swatter, what a mess. This will be my first and last time; the health department should be called because this was a very unhealthy environment.

The ramen is very flavourful! Here is my breakdown:1. Wait time: not bad at all despite the size of the place and only 2 servers!2. Service: Awesome! There were only 2 servers and they managed it wonderfully!3. Ramen: As mentioned, the soup is flavourful and the noodles were not too firm and not too soft.I normally like my soup and noodles to be super hot (in temperature), so for me, I felt it wasnt hot enough. The egg was not cut like in half like you normally see, but that was a good thing as it did not mess up the yolk; however, it didnt get hot enough in the center for me.This place also has the option for no fat in the pork slices, which is excellent! Most ramen places dont have that option.Overall, I enjoyed their food and it hit the spot for me!

Delicious food! Great service. Curry Bowl had plenty of delicious curry sauce with minced pork to mix in with the white rice. Boyfriend tried Tonkotsu Black ramen bowl and really enjoyed it. Karaage Chicken has the perfect crunchiness and flavor. Cozy restaurant with limited seating, so remember to put your name down to get a table. Table turnover is pretty quick. Not a long wait for dinner. Wasnt there to observe lunch. Will definitely be back!

The genuine efforts by everyone was not missed during my first visit to Yoshharu Ramen in Orange, 5 Stars yall 👍 I enjoyed their Tonkotsu Black today. And Ill be back for their Tonkotsu Miso next week, if not sooner. Casual too Cool is the dress code. Certainly an inviting spot to hangout with a few friends, a first date, or a date night for you married folks.

Yoshiharu restaurant was good. I ordered spicy famous famous. The food was real spicy and like it. Also, I added extra noddle for sure! The taste was good and I liked it but because of price I gave them 4 stars. The price for Ramen was a little bit higher than another places. I had Ramen in many places and for this reason, I think it could be lower. Totally I like it and recommend to anyone who like Japanese food.

The food was decent, BUT, they have a giant sign outside that advertises $2 drafts. Is what brought me in. However once you sit down ask for it they tell you, “Only with a Yelp check in.” Nowhere is that mentioned. My problem isn’t the checking in part, but the fact that it’s not mentioned on the sign. It’s misleading advertising, and I didn’t appreciate it very much. Not to mention that after this confusion the waitress basically ignored me for the rest of the meal.All they had to do was add a sticker explaining the conditions, but they would rather pull one over on new customers.

BEST black garlic ramen I’ve ever had and the portions are so large you can have lunch and dinner from the same bowl. Everyone that works there is incredibly kind as well.

Came on a Sunday afternoon at around 1PM. A table or two was still open, counter was practically empty. Ordered the Tonkatsu Black with small combo side of Karage and extra noodles. Karage came out first then main dish and extra noodle on a small plate. Food overall was good. Karage may be slightly hot by the time the noodles arrive, so I recommend eating a couple while they are fresh. Total came out to be a little over $18. My overall experience was good.

I had the Tonkotsu Shoyu and I found the broth to be too salty the noodles undercooked and the pork very underwhelming. The portion at first glance is very generous but its mostly broth and a gigantic bowl for $12 there are a few other places within that price range that do it a lot better. I highly recommend Hiro Nori in long Beach of you dont mind the drive because that place is definitely worth it.

I had the Tonkotsu Miso and Ika Karaage.The miso base wasnt very good and the noodles used felt like instant noodles.. they added greens which made the soup more bitter than it should be making it difficult to enjoy it. The pork was cooked well and was charred on the skin side for a little smoked taste which I didnt mind. The egg was just right and the green onion slices were perfect.For the Ika Karaage, it was cooked well but seemed too few for the price. It wasnt anything special to merit the more than $5 price tag.Overall, it wasnt too bad of an experience but I was hoping it would be worthwhile to visit considering I live nearby. Ive had ramen in Japan and the station ramen shops are way better.

I definitely know a thing or two about ramen (just look at my profile picture--I was born in the land of noodles) and this the **best** ramen I have ever had.Pictured is the Tonkotsu Black, with extra egg and corn on the left and extra spicy on the right. The broth is out if this world; it is this thick, savory, indescribably amazing base that has me wanting to drink every drop even if it coats my arteries for the rest of my life (worth it)!Our entire meal with two bowls, three extras, two soft drinks, and a beef musubi was only about 32 dollars. The prices are very competitive.Be warned, even at 4pm on a Sunday it was 80 percent full. If you come during dinner time, expect 30 minute wait or more. Trust me, worth it!

Use to go there years until Covid. Recently, family went there and noticed ownership has been changed. Then, prices went up almost 80%. Beware, If you order Spicy Ramen, they charge you $2 extra. Where else?? Any Ramen would cost about $20. We ordered a couple remen bowls and when arrived, first we thought it was vegetarian, you dont see the meat. Didnt see two large Char Siu which is typical in Japanese Ramen.

Pic is actually of the Green Chilaquiles (breakfast nachos; which also come with red sauce of you prefer) from the Mexican market next door. Maps keeps putting me in there instead of here... Prices are great and the food is superb. Try the chicharron (deep fried pork belly) for sure.The tortas (sandwiches) are all very good as well. The quesadillas are huge. You can also have tacos with either regular or homemade tortillas. Excellent selection of marinated meats, cheeses and imported items. You can even have a beer or two with your food. A friendly and helpful staff that will guide you through the menu or butcher shop if need be.A true hidden jem in Orange.

I felt they had good food and I will be back. The waitress pointed out there was a special on draft beer, which was nice. But although they had a great ambience and music, I sat near the back of the restaurant by dishwashers and prep people. They were blasting really loud Latin music that competed with the music meant for the customers in the eating area. Im thinking the owners were probably Japanese and culturally didnt want to ask the workers to turn the music down to an acceptable level.

They royally messed up our order and tried to overcharge us AND gave us false information about what they were out on. Then when correcting the bill, after the waiter said he’d remove the extra charges he modified the bill and charged us on the more expensive ramen dishes basically nullifying any remedies promised. After how many flops they had with us (and the table next to us) this was clearly mishandled. Also, the ramen broth was flavorless, and as a whole very overpriced. We paid $45 for two messed up ramen orders and a Diet Coke. Don’t come here.

The level 3 spicy miso didnt disappoint. I ordered extra pork but after eating I realized i shouldve gotten extra everything! The broth had the perfect amount of spice, the pork was flavorful, the egg was fantastic, and overall I had a great experience eating. One more thing to note is the macaroon ice cream. I rarely leave reviews, especially bad ones. I wanted to like this place, clean and polite staff. But this is the worst ramen I’ve ever had. It was so incredibly salty it gave me a headache and nauseous. I forced myself to eat half, but I wanted a refund after the first taste. This is my GO TO SPOT. Food is always good. Waiter are nice and attentive. They do free extra noodle at no additional cost for dine in, which is AMAZING!! Haha. Ramen is pretty good. Only thing I don’t understand is that as popular as they are why they have such a small space. You could end up waiting up to 45mins if it’s crowded. I think they should think about a place nearby with more space. But other than that, love this spot! My go to for Ramen.

Actually I have been searching for a great Ramen place in orange county for a long time and sadly, this place disappointed majorly. First the prices are too expensive for what they offer, and for the amount that they offer. The Ramen was average and I mean average. Not a lot of flavor and the meat was dry. I have had better shrimp tempura rolls at Sam’s Club that tells you all you have to know. I won’t be returning. You need to lower your prices also.

Oh man I hated this place only because I would order through door dash. One day I decided to come in and sit down to eat my Ramen and omg so glad I did it was super tasty. Came in on Sunday and they also said they have unlimited noodles I’ll definitely be coming back here. Tried the chicken karaage, takoyaki, and the spicy ramen (level 2). Everything tasted great. I do wish they’d put more sauce on the takoyaki because when they get cooled, they can taste a little dry. The dipping sauce for the chicken karaage was so good! It’s like a spicy mayo but not too spicy. The level 2 spicy ramen was perfect for my Asian palate. I had to drive 25 mins just to pick up the food but it’s worth it and will be coming back here.

I came here in two different occasions because I was told that this is the place to go to if I wanted good ramen in Orange County. I really wanted to like it but for the two times I came here, the ramen was only average. The first time, I got the spicy miso ramen. The second time, I got the tonkotsu black. I was never satisfied with any of it. The service was good though, nothing to rave about too much, but it was good. I dont know. I have yet to find some great ramen here in SoCal. Place is getting sloppy on quality, meats are just meh, grills and pans arent cleaned well so expect charred items with your food. We loved this place before as it was close by and a bit better than the ramen house by Target up the street. Id rather drive a few more miles even in traffic before resorting to here again. If I had to pinpoint the reason why I would come back here, it would definitely be for the service.I wouldnt call them perfect, but theyre so friendly you cant be mad at them. Every single employee had a smile on their face and that contagious attitude really kept my mood throughout my dinner.Things I liked:- The ramen is good. I ordered the tonkatsu black with a side of egg for $1.50. The broth was very hot and the entire bowl was delicious.- The servers are attentive but not over-the-top. They came to refill drinks, ask if we needed anything else, etc etc.- The California roll is a very generous serving!! The 8 rolls were very thick and had far more crab meat than rice. I love that!- You get to choose between a small and large rice bowl or curry. The server recommended getting the large bowl because the small was not very filling, but I suggest only ordering the large bowl if its the only thing you plan on eating. Otherwise, opt for the small.Things I didnt like:- The gyoza was sub-par. At the entrance of the restaurant, youll actually get the chance to watch a video on how they prepare their gyoza, but I found that the pieces were not fried long enough. They were seared, but a little too soft for my liking. Taste-wise, they were fine, but I would pass on this for my next visit.- The lighting in the restaurant is too bright! I know thats a bit too picky, but it kills the ambiance for me.--Overall, I did like my experience at Yoshiharu! Though its certainly not an LA ramen shop, it certainly is a good contender for those in the OC area.

Clean is how Id describe this ramen place. The interior of the restaurant is very clean, and the taste of the ramen is very clean as well! Service aint bad either.I had the spicy miso ramen (Level 1). What I liked about it is that you could control how spicy you wanted it--there was a small ball of the spicy stuff in the broth, which you could take out as soon as you had the level of heat you wanted.Price is on par with other places. My only complaint is that the karaage appetizer came out so quickly--which is normally not bad, but it was warm, and felt like it was under a heat lamp (I could be wrong, but it just felt like that!) But thats a minor thing as the ramen was the star of the show.

Those who loved this ramen, fair and Im glad you enjoyed it; however I personally found it beyond salty, not to mention missing pretty much everything I like in a yummy bowl of ramen, such as a rich meat-centric broth, pork that tears away in delicate strips, etc.) If you get the chance, please try another restaurant that has a well-made soup base of pork bone broth and the traditional white noodles (or at least a well balanced soup base if you dont eat pork/meat). Hakata Ikkousha in Costa Mesa will give you an experience thats actually straight from Japan ; Foo Foo Tei in Hacienda Heights and Kitakita Ramen Ban Nai located all across Orange County are also two really good places to go have an actual authentic experience. If you try the real deal and still prefer this, then youve found a restaurant that makes you happy, and cheers to that, but having been blown away by the traditional style: I would cook myself some Cup Noodle if I wanted one note salty broth with grilled pork, but maybe thats just me.(note: yes, Japan tends to like food that trends salty, but in my experience, never to this degree! And there are always at least a few other redeeming flavour qualities to the dish!

One of the best Ramen places around Orange County. I finally got around to trying it and loved it. I got the Tonkatsu Spicy Miso with a level 2 spicy. It was very filling and I love the flavor. We also got the grilled Gyoza and was some of my fiances favorite gyoza that shes tried, so we got a second order! The food came out super fast too. The gyoza only took a few minutes and then the ramen was shortly after that. I really enjoyed how much more they cooked the chashu as compared to other places. I haven’t been there to eat, but once I went there, it was 30 minutes to closing time and many people were inside enjoying their food, we personally were going to get takeout because it was late but we ended up leaving cause they said they did last call at 9:30. If you want to get a late night snack here then make sure you arrive 40 minutes before their “stayed” closing time. I love giving places 5 stars to support their service, but to account for every aspect, in this case - price, I must provide an honest and well-rounded review. The price is a little steep for ramen, which is always understandable as a means of supporting the location; however, when ramen is available from $6-8 for a bowl at many locations, it’s hard to pay upwards of $10 for a bowl. Regardless, it’s pretty good ramen considering the options/wait times at other places out there. The service is excellent. There’s one gentleman who provides exceptional service consistently - part of the reason why my father loves coming here (in addition to the 5 piece gyoza for $3 with any ramen bowl). Not recommended for groups. Five adults and one infant arrived around 11:45AM on a Monday. Per tradition most of the seating is communal, with a few separate tables and some barstool seats. But because of how poorly and sparsely people had been seated there wasnt room for a group larger than 2 or 3. We were bruskly told to put our names on a waiting list in a tablet (which wasnt signed in, so wouldnt have worked). And then told to go outside as they didnt want us in their entrance. This is my new go-to ramen spot! If youre from the area, then you know shin-sen-gumi gets wildly crowded and whats up men is personally too cramped and loud for my taste. But Yoshiharu really delivers with their simple ramen and rice dishes and their clean cute interior! This is definitely one of the best ramen shops Ive come across in OC. Once you get seated (there can be a wait, as expected), the service is excellent and your order gets served very quickly. Obviously the ramen is great (my fav is the tonkatsu spicy miso) but there are other options (fried rice, curry bowl, spicy tuna bowl) for those not wanting noodles.
