We ordered a chicken bowl and steak bowel. We found very little meat under the vegetables. ThereWas 4 small pieces of chicken and not much more steak. Wont be going there again

So, on this day, a bad experience.Ordered 3 Combo XL Bowles, and all had mushy rice. The beef was undercooked and the chicken was overcooked.The side vegetables that came with the order had mostly cabbage, nothing against cabbage but please dont forget the carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower.I also ordered a side of Udon Noodles, very dry and might of been old.Overall, not satisfied with todays visit.

Moved to upland and got coupons to try this place was around ($15)! Walked in there thinking it was a set dish but it turns out you get to pick your rice, meats, and side dish! Jaimie was so helpful and walked us through everything we could get. Thanks for being so patient with us :) dinning area and kitchen were very clean and staff was super nice. Will be coming back.

They should call this spot Drama-noya. First, a young female employee wins an Oscar for her “It’s so hot in here, we’re drying” performance in which her complaints about the air conditioning were heard by ALL customers.Five minutes into her wallowing, the manager brought her wet paper towels. I have to admit that this did elevate our dining experience…You see this all took place while she was sitting in the middle of the tables among the customers. By this time, she was wearing the wet paper towels on her neck and forehead.I wish I could say it ended there, but it didn’t. I am guessing the heat was to much for her to stand up and appropriately ask her co-workers questions, because she thought it was ok to just start shouting to them from her seat among customers. “Richard? Did you clock me out?”It took all my might to not just blurt out “Hey Richard, tell ____ to stop whining.”

They dont take care about the restaurant customers first before doing the mobile service, they talk and they dont pick up and not only that one goes on break while the line gets backed up. Worst customer service they need people who knows how to serve the food hot and not warm.

Where do I begin…Let start off with bad customer service, unfriendly!! We order noodles, when we got our order, noodles were warm, more on the cold side . We did tell a different employee that noodles were warm, he did bring a new hot bowl of noodles, to our surprise it had pieces of burnt chicken, beef or noodle!!! Too hard to tell what it was, that’s how burnt it was!!! Come on Manager, people are spending $$$$ and it ain’t cheap. Defiantly I am not going back.

Last couple of visits have been bad. We usually come here once a week for lunch. But for the last three visits have been really disappointing. Food takes a long time to be served and its cold. The chicken is cold and dry like its been out for a while, they just cover with sauce. The fat on the beef is already turning white from the cold. The vegetables are flasid and cold. Whats up?

Watched as they packed the 3 combos, the bags sat there for 20 minutes before I (finally) went up to ask if there was a problem with my order.They said they were waiting on the gyozas...I said the bagged food is probably cold by now, the young lady said she could give me the food now until the other was ready: its a to go order!Anyway, it was another couple of minutes and I finally got the complete order - took me about 15 minutes to get home so by now the food really was cold...had to nuke it to warm it up some.It was good, but the point is I should have been at least offered fresh food.Thats just bad management.

I may have written a good review of this eatery that was favorable, but new employees have changed that. I went in, and ordered as usual. When asked my name, I said Olive. The young lady appeared not to understand me, so I spoke louder, saying Olive like the martini type. She looked at me strangely, and put Eli on my order. When I went to sit down, one of the customers commented to me, liking the Olive like the martini type. This same young lady was behind the counter, with another employee, commenting on me, while giving me an ugly look. Clearly, with the new employees are not the best. I clearly, and loudly told the couple that acknowledged that they heard how I described my last name, that this is why at times I regret having served 30 years in the Army. I wont be going back. I did that customer survey thing, with zero response from Yoshinoya. I dont want the young lady fired, but that sort of nasty demeanor doesnt make customers want to return.

Ive been to this Yoshinoya on and off for the past 15 years. Usual experience had been waiting around for my food for 10 min, average customer service, etc. On a whim, I came back yesterday (first time in a couple years). I was thoroughly impressed! They did a remodel, with new digital screen menus. More importantly was what I experienced next. I placed my order with the helpful cashier. She gave me plenty of detail on the new menu offerings and let me know I could sub out veggies for another side and have them on the side. I went to wash my hands, and when I came out my food was already ready to go! 3 different people said Cameron? Your meal is ready to go. Little did I know that she read the name on my payment card and put my name in the system. In summary: the place was clean, the service was excellent, and the food was great.

This places food is amazing however the manager refused to honor a coupon that had just expire. They are known for honoring coupons. Ive never had a problem. She was very rude to me about it. She handed it back aggressively and embarrassed me in front of several customers. I went to the car where I had coupons that were not expired 🙃 the way this situation was handled was not good. Ive only been to this place three times the first two times were good. I think they are training a new crew so I know it takes time to get people up to speed. The most recent time I was there I placed an order for a limited time item the grilled steak and was told that they didnt have any okay I understand things run out and then placed an order for chicken beef plate and a chicken bowl to go. After 15 minutes I approached the counter asked why my food wasnt ready and was told that the beef was cooking okay Ill wait more. A couple minutes later the lady behind me went to the counter to ask why her food was not ready.Approximately 25 to 30 minutes later my food was prepared my name was call and I went to the counter.The young girl working the register asked me if I would like any sauce and I said yes please some of the brown teriyaki sauce you put on topShe said thats extraI Didnt say anything I just looked at her like really?!To her credit she turned around and asked her manager can I just give him a sauce because he waited so long and the manager shook his head yesI understand training a new crew we have all been there but if customers are going to be expected to wait beyond 10 minutes or any length of time that is not normal they should be informed ahead of time theres theres going to be a delay do you still want to order?People are more accommodating when you think especially during this time but you need to tell them ahead of time if things are not going to be like normal.

I Love Yoshinoya, so the stars may be a little bit biased. This particular restaurant isnt my favorite, the staff are nice and friendly, but very stingy with the condiments, especially the ginger. The portion sizes are the very smallest Ive experienced at a Yoshinoya, and kinda disappointing. The least meat Ive ever had on a double beef combo. The food was delicious, but very small and I was hungry after, and I usually am very satisfied. Im not sure Id return to this particular location unless it were the only option. Food is great, but small.

Bland food thats not worth the price. I only came here because I had coupons, and even with them I felt like the food was overpriced. Combo Bowl BARELY has more food than a Regular Bowl, and even though I finished my meal, I will not be returning here in the future.The only things good I can say is that the place is clean and the service is fast.If you have a coupon, maybe check this place out, but dont expect too much.Tip: Use a buy one, get one free coupon to get two regular bowls and mix up what you get. Of the four of us that came, only the person who did that felt like they got a good selection for a good price.

If there’s a long line and then it takes a while to get your food because the person at the front takes an order and then fax it and then take the next order and then packs it so pretty much have to wait for the other person’s food that was in front of you to get packed first. This is the third time I walk out because they send virtual promotions, in fine print it says to print and bring in. Service mediocre at best. The girl at the counter got my name wrong when I placed my order. Not really busy but it took about 10 minutes to get my order. When I started eating, it was semi-cold so I asked if it could be warmed up. The cook said it would have to be remade and that took at least another 10-15 minutes. Then when it was ready, the girl at the counter mispronounced my name again. Again, not very busy only about 3 other people but it seemed like everyone had to wait a long time.

Yoshinoya, by far, has one of the most generous coupons around. For what you pay and what you get back, pound per pound and dollar per dollar, it feels like they are giving food away. I almost feel bad using a coupon because, In military parlance, their coupons are like force multipliers. However, I dont feel that bad. Ive been going to Yoshinoyas ever since my family moved south from the bay area and their food is consistently good. The price is right (with a coupon its a steal). And their service is fast. It is also nice to see that all the restaurants are being retooled and rebranded with a new logo, new interior, and a fresh coat of paint. I know their restaurants are not everywhere, but give them a try if its been awhile.

Recommend asking for a side of teriyaki sauce and red pepper as good condiments for any food item ordered. One has to climb a set of stairs to get to the main entrance as the restaurant sits on a slope. It is maintained and clean. The food is served fresh, hot and in good presentation. I recommend it for a healthy dish.

I feel like this should be recognized a bit more. For the price this is amazing the soup used to cook the meat gives it this flavoring that I personally love and the quality? I can testify that after eating different Yoshinoyas around the world that this does not lose in taste.Tip: if you live you can order a cup of the beef soup for about $.64 and drink out of it (or pour it in your meal) and I always love to do it.
