FOOD IS GOOD. They need to hire more people, specially have more associates on busy days. Drive thru takes minimum 30 minutes to get your food.

I recently moved to the area and have always loved eating yoshinoya. This is my new local location and unfortunately I will not be going again. I ordered a boba tea which they had no Boba so I said just give me the tea anyways and it was a cup full of ice. I literally finished it in one sip. I had told the lady that the cup was nothing but ice and she said that everything was pre-measured and didnt do anything about it. I literally paid $4 for ice. And when I get home to see my plate it barely had any meat at all. I could have received better service when I showed the lady my cup was full of ice and barely any tea at all. They should try a little harder to satisfy the customer. Oh well

According to Google they open at 8 am and I attempted to make an order and lot of items where unavailable bc they had just opened and it was already 840??. I was told with an attitude that I would have to wait bc they had nothing ready and when it was Time to pay I was told to to give the exact change -with attitude. Also I didnt get any condiments,napkins or utensils. I had place my order via drive through and I dont recommend making orders early morning especially if that lady is there. I always go there and ive never been treated that way.

I have been coming to Yoshinoya for many years for theirs bowls and combo plates also I like their new items that Yoshinoya come up. When my wife and I do our shopping like to go to different Yoshinoya in different area like this one in Maywood.

Ive held back from reviewing because Ive tried being understanding but like others have mentioned they could have 5 cars or just 1 and the wait time is unbelievably long, Ive never been to a Yoshi where they take this long. Today I decided to go in to see if it was any different inside—its not. Not only was it just as long but when I got home I noticed that for my sons kids meal they put 2 and a half pieces of chicken. Ive bought him a kids meal before and there is definitely more protein than this. This was absolutely ridiculous; waited about 20 min for this.

Judith M is a horrible employee/manager. I was trying to order and put coupons since Im trying to save them. All of a sudden, she said she accepted it because its too many while other employees let me. Then she said Im the manager in an angry tone. She then explained why she couldnt accept in a different answer. She now said she cant accept because there isnt a code on the coupons and rip them up without me seeing it. She acts like if I work there. She is unprofessional for a worker to be positioned as a manager.

I ordered their Beef Bowl, and it was a Rice Bowl with about five straps of their beef. I approached the counter to speak to a manager, and four women walked to the counter. Lastly, It was my first stop in Long Beach, CA. I paid for the order prior, and I left the beef bowl on the counter in front of the hostile customer service.

I was given old dark broccili. Easy to tell that instead of throwing it away they rather sneak into your food. I went a week ago and was given a raw section of chicken. Mangement needs to improve before somebody gets sick.

Had to finally try the NOYA bowls at a friends recommendation. Nice clean restaurant, excellent service and the food is fresh and warm. Go for the white rice bowl with the Gyudon beef, add avocado half and a side of teriyaki sauce plus a drink and you are going to love the thinly sliced beef plus the sauce gives the rice the right amount of sweet and the avocado begs for a sip of the cold drink at your side. Ill be returning for sure.

It burdens me to put this because I’ve never had a problem at this yoshinya, nor have I ever rated bad review anything online before. I come here somewhat frequently, but tonight the attitude that the drive thru attendant gave to me was very distasteful. I’m putting this review so hopefully someone from your store management sees this. Maybe the lady was having a bad day, but please don’t take it out on me.

Yo honestly i never really liked walking in a Yoshinoya restaurant because I didnt know how much better these restaurants businesses really are, until i went for the first time. Here in the Maywood location in California you get the best satisfaction from dinning in a much better scenery. Go i recommend it!

When ordering from Yoshinoya always check your order before leaving they always make mistakes. Also not matter what and how you place your order I heard the cook complaining about a customer order that it was complicated. Overall you get what you pay for.

So I’ve tried coming to this location two different times after work in the morning. The first time they told me they didn’t have any meat ready so I left. It was 9am and according to google, the yoshinoya website, and signs at their entrance, they open at 8am. I came back today and sat at the drive thru speaker w/ no reply until I decided to park and walk up to the restaurant and of course the doors are locked despite there marketing stating they open at 8am. Definitely a terribly run store. If it’s a chronic staffing issue then they should change their hours to let customers know before they waste their time at this location.

If i could give 0 stars I would. The customer service is beyond horrible. All the employees work as if it was their first day on the job. The drive thru line wrapped around the block and inside was just as bad. Slow orders, wrong orders, missing items. I asked for my money back and the manager was upset about it and snatched my card out of my hand. If you hate your job so much, go find a new place to work.Also, if you know the stove isnt working, which you need to cook the beef. Then put up a sign, dont have me order and then make me wait 30 mins to tell me you cant complete my order. Make it make sense. Someone shut this place down, or get new management. Most of the reviews are negative and true. Dont waste your time and money.

We were in line for the drive through forabout 30 at 8pm... Location closes at 9pm... And the employee comes out at 830pm, drops some cones a few car ahead of us and walks away. Says nothing to the cars in line, just walked back inside. At least 6 cars turned around and drove away. The closing is fine, its closing time, I understand, but the awful way it was handled is ridiculously unprofessional. I waited for a small amount, considering that there were three cars ahead of me. Disgusting business management.

I was a little annoyed because i walked in and one employee was cleaning but ignored me completely and the other one was pretty busy with the drive thru customers, she acknowledged my presence but didnt say a word to me or to any of her fellow employees about taking my order. I was about to ask for the manager when Rachel stopped stocking the lobby and took my order and did a fantastic job providing some good old fashioned service. The food looked appetizing and it tasted delicious, but i ended up impressed by Rachels actions more than anything because you hardly see that sincere smile nowadays. Theres plenty of parking and the store looked really cleaned and organized. Portions were a little bit on the skimpy side though.

The restaurant inside is all right; it could be better if they remodel their furniture and try to keep the place neat. The restrooms are looked; you need to get a courtesy token. The food was warm and the service was fast. My only complain is that the chicken teriyaki bowl looks too dry; you need to pay extra if you want extra teriyaki sauce.

I was in drive thru for 20 minutes today march 20 when i got to the window to pay they told me the system was down after swiping my debit card 5 times.The general manager on duty did zero to no effort to try to apologize for the inconvenience and was very rude by ignoring the situation and kept talking with his co-worker. This is not the first time i ask for food without veggies and they clearly got it wrong because you can tell on my plate that they put veggies and removed them. I love Yoshinoya- I visit the one in Monterey Park and in Downey, but on occasion, I would visit this location because it’s a little closer to my house. This last trip I took today WAS NASTY. I couldn’t believe how yucky it was. The veggies were soupy soggy and sipping wet, their meat tasted watery and it was overall lacking. I understand Yoshinoya is not a 5 star restaurant- but none of the other locations I visit are this bad consecutively. Blegh.
