I ordered the Habanero Chicken(double) with Noodles and a side of vegetables. Didnt think the food was as good as the first time I tried it. The amount of noodles that were served on this XL combo was honestly underwhelming. Vegetables were good, but again, it was a very small portion. Nothing special, and I definitely will be back, but no telling when that will be.

Not quite 100% like in Japan, but the original does taste the same. Wish they had the same condiments on the table as in Japan. The staff provided excellent service and the restaurant was clean. Would eat here again. Way better product for the price other fast food places offer.

I ordered two bobas of the same size and one appeared to be less than half full of tea, the other one was perfectly fine. I also ordered brown rice and they gave white rice instead. And the food overall isn’t that great and is not worth the price. (the photo shows that both were sealed)

Great addition to Bakersfield. I stopped by since I was a fan from L.A I gotta say the place is a bit tight. They have 3 boths and 5 tables for 4 people. The kitchen takes about 70% of the restaurant. I decided to try the spicy chicken and noodles and I was disappointed. I recommend you go with the classic regular chicken and beef with white rice. The fried rice was bad. Just got with the classic, not the new stuff and you will be alright. The time to get the food was not bad despite being busy. They got plenty of parking.

I havent had yoshinoya in years, so I was excited to get this. I bought the large bowl for $9.99, which comes with 2 sides or chicken and ribeye steak. Chicken was good, Ribeye, not that great. Stick with chicken!!

Ordered two LgBowls, one of which had shrimp. Some shrimp was found raw and cold [raw shrimp is colorless/grey instead of pink when cooked]. I suspect it was fried when still frozen and never cooked all the way.Also menu is hard to see due to large promotional stickers blocking the view

Recently had the orange chicken with noodles, it was just bad and expensive. Couldnt finish it. It was disgusting. The quality has gone down. Yoshinoya was one of my favorite fast food restaurants. Not anymore. Buying the extra large platter gets you nothing but rice. I do like their beef.

I have always found it very good except for one thing: mushy vegetables. Nobody ever seems to get the concept of stir fry vegetables; theyre supposed to be crisp tender, not have the life cooked out of them. But 98% of the time ANY Yoshinoya Ive ever gone to has really mushy vegetables. I keep hoping someone will see the light.

Absolutely disgusting the food from Yoshinoya definitely isnt the same here was much better when they were on Ming Ave. Ordered the new teriyaki ribeye steak if thats what they call it to me it was like teriyaki cat food wasnt anything close to being real steak. The rice was clumpy and sticky definitely lost my business Ill continue to go to Sarku in the valley plazza instead

A lot of places wont serve me on my ebike, but here they were super helpful and accommodating. Staff was all super nice.They send out really good coupons in the mail, and theyve got an app too. Ive had most of their menu items at this point and theyre all really good and a great value, you really cant go wrong with any of them. Would definitely recommend.

I get an email just about every other week to order from this place and it specifically says I will get free delivery Im pretty sure thats the catch! Its good food and a treat when its prepared right, but when its bad its bad. My mom ordered orange chicken and it was raw. Once they also forgot an order of wings and rolls too. Thankfully theyre always nice about it and fix the issue just wish there wasnt one in the first place. I feel like its a 3.75 stars so Id rather give it a 4 than 3. Ill continue to go there. Just check your food folks.

Not what I remember from the Oasis in The Valley Plaza. The staff was very friendly. It was respectably clean. The coupons they have are incredible. I ate the chicken and wasn’t disappointed nor impressed. The beef did not look like beef. It was grayish brown with a gray tint. Texture wise it was very unappealing. If you’re hungry and don’t care what your food looks like, this is a cheap option.

First they put a grand opening banner opening January now February it’s February! When is this location opening? I have been waiting forever and you always see people in there. What is the delay? LolUpdate: New banner that it will be another 9 days for employee training.2/10 drive thru is lit but it still says closed.2/11 Grand opening today! Place was packed I went around 4pm. I ordered large beef and an order of wings. Staff was nice. Place looks new and clean. The wait was about 20 minutes and they are generous with condiments. Overall good experience will definitely return. Especially when I get coupons in the weekly mail :-)

This spot we were excited about! It wasnt exactly what we expected! Its super close to our house so we were hyped but it went bad right away...the food order was completely wrong the employee clearly didnt listen to a single word. The food was pretty ok but everything came super sweet and the sauces were too sugary. Im a diabetic so i couldnt eat the wings or shrimp or many of the meat choices or the rice or noodles which doesnt leave much else to choose from!

I was very unhappy with the service and the food. This was our 1st time eating Yoshinoya. We ordered on the mobile app and went to pick it up. When they handed us our food the bags were sticky with orange sauce from their hands. Also the portion size of our meals were so small. The orange chicken tasted like a cheap frozen orange chicken and the spring rolls were soggy. We will stick to Panda Express from now on. Our meal was not worth $40 whatsoever

My family and I have always loved this food since we lived in LA and when the Yoshinoya on Ming Ave closed down a few years back we got so sad and then we would have to go all the way to LA to go buy some and I would always bug Yoshinoya on the Facebook page for them to open one up again. I’ve already been there a few times since they opened and they are doing a pretty good job I hope they open more around.

Omg of I could give no star I would. The tilapia was old and overcooked extra hard around the edges, the vegetables were so soggy and overcooked it was disgusting, honestly the best part was the cookies, the soda, and the orange chicken. I took myself oh, my husband, and three children. Almost everything went to the trash except for the things that I mentioned never again well we go here. So happy this place is back in town. My grandma used to take me all the time as a kid before their old location closed years ago. The teriyaki chicken tastes exactly like I remember, it is like a blast from the past. Having been to a real Yoshinoya in Japan, I was really excited to eat here. Severely disappointed. The 15 minute wait to order, the flavorless beef, and cheap gelatinous orange chicken goes to show that it much less resembles the exotic quality of the place it comes from and more represents the mediocrity of the place its in now.

I also appreciate them requiring guests to be wearing a mask that covers their nose and mouth when the drive thru window is open, however, the young lady who took our order and payment had her mask hanging below her nose.

Big oof. Was excited to try this place. I got the combo bowl with white rice, teriyaki chicken and orange chicken. It also came with a side of veggies. It was all bad. Flavor on the orange chicken was wack. The teriyaki chicken very fatty and the sauce tasted burnt. The veggies were overcooked and mushy. The rice had a weird bitter aftertaste. Im not a picky eater, but I only had a bite or two of each thing and I threw the rest out. Disappointed all around.

The menu has expanded quite a bit since I last remember (10+ years ago when I frequented while in college in LA). The habanero chicken is pretty good and of course the beef is still as original as it gets. Its too bad there arent many yoshinoyas in town (I think this is the only one).Dont expect great food here. But you can expect ok food at decent prices. The serving is generous which is what many people look for in cheap fast food.Be sure to ask for ginger which is a must have condiment when having yoshinoya.

Me and the wife went and got beef and chicken teriyaki bowls. Meat is way bland and fatty and the sauce is sickeningly sweet, like sugar with some added soy sauce, very little soy sauce. The beef is chopped and grayish with no flavor. Went across the street to the teriyaki bowl for the usual cheap selection that is a lot better than yoshinoya.
