Very nice Japanese sushi restaurant with a cozy warm atmosphere. The restaurant is not very big and only holds a few tables but the waiting didnt take too long. We went on a Saturday night at about 8:30 closer to 9pm and it wasnt that busy. We waited perhaps 15 minutes before we got a table for a party of five. The menu had all your standards plus some others so its never going to be boring, as you can always come back and order something different. We ordered the signature Yoshio roll, The El Cerrito roll, a Natto Maki roll, kaarage chicken, dinner combo set with california rolls and sahimi, and beef udon soup. The rolls were good and very fresh. I liked that the rice was not hard and had that fresh taste and seasoning. I loved the chicken kaarage. It was super crunchy and soft with tons of flavor. I highly recommend getting this. The beef Udon was good too but I only took a small sampling of a vegetable since my son doesnt like to eat it. The prices on the food were pretty fair and much better than buying our usual small trays of sushi from yaoya-san, which arent as fresh and are much smaller in size and quantity.One of the great things about this restaurant is that they open until midnight, so you can get a great bite to eat in the middle of the night. We did experience one negative which was the easier forgot my order as I watched everyone getting theirs and almost finishing I asked the what if my order was coming soon and he went to check and said it wasnt put in the check.... but the good thing is that within 5 minutes he brought me my roll that he asked the sushi chef to expedite for me.Overall, we will be coming back again to eat here. So far, this is one of our favorite spots for sushi.9/30/23 update. Went here at 9pm for late night Saturday dinner. Only waited a few minutes while the staff cleaned a table for us. The waiter was very nice and attentive. We ordered our usual chicken Kaarage, teriyaki beef udon, dinner set, Yoshio signature roll, sukiyaki, and s California rolls. Good was good and going. Happy to keep coming back here.

Amazing food and environment. I enjoyed the place so much that i went around 6 times in a month. The sea food pancake, mix tempura, chicken udon and lion king sushi I highly recommend. Perfect for a late date. The place is small so keep in mind it gets busy really fast. But 100 worth it.Also the food takes a bit to come out so just keep that in mind. Also their beef teriyaki is not the best. Stick to sea food and u will be fine.

Ideal sushi experience, the chefs choice sashimi was fresh and diverse. The clam miso wowed, never had seen it before and it was everything I didn’t know I needed.

Food was good overall but the sushi chef in the kitchen was very rude. We were party of 5 and asked if we could sit in the room and one of the chefs in the kitchen rudely said “No!” without giving any context nor explanation. Honestly I wanted to walk out but didn’t for our group’s pleasant dinner.BUT, I will never visit this place ever again.

Im not particularly choosy about food, but Ill rate this sushi restaurant on a scale of 1 to 5. Its a solid 4.Maybe the chef who prepared my Superman rolls was outstanding. However, the service provided by the waitress during the evening was subpar. The service is exceptionally lousy. In the future, Ill make sure to ask for her name. She was quite rude. I understand that shes the only waitress, but she needs to realize that she doesnt deserve a tip if the service isnt up to par.

We went out for our first time and were first to dine in for the day. The server was very nice. The decor and aesthetic was beautiful. Not a lot of places make you feel like youve actually walked into a Japanese restaurant. The food was excellent. We ordered rolls, a bento box, appetizers, and Ramune drinks. Everything came out fresh. Would def recommend.They even have a small room for larger groups. Traditional sitting on cushions on the floor. It looked so nice.

Great sushi rolls! The one I got was amazing and massive. Defiantly enough for 1 person but take a friend to split and try different rolls, it’s better that way. Coming back for more soon. Thanks! Cheers!!

The restaurant is very small, so expect a wait on the weekends. The food is hit or miss, weve been there 3 times. The customer service didnt get any better. Their not necessarily rude, but not welcoming either. Pretty much a hurry up vibe.

Good was great, a little mixup on the order, but no big deal. We liked the huge water glasses, never needed to ask for refill. Nigiri was fresh and the teriyaki was tasty. Good place for kids.
