2023-10-21 05:33:40The staff and teas which were served were great! I really enjoy how clean the restaurant is as well as their menu which offers various affordable dishes. Unfortunately I didnt grab a photo of the food! But its definitely worth checking out.

2023-07-30 03:24:18Perhaps I expected too much . I was very excited to try out this new dim sum place . We did get there 10 min before closing time which I was not aware of the closing time being soo early 7pm. So they didnt want to seat us understandably. A young hispanic waitress offered us take out . Which I was okay with .I just found it odd that the owner was hovering over the young waitress as i ordered. I dont think he was to happy to have to make a last order........ the menu is rather small so I quickly chose a wanton soup which was flavorless/bland and the wanton filling was filled with shrimp and what felt like pork cartilage not my favorite at all. I also ordered the beef rice noodle stir fry it was Also flavorless and tasted like a dirty grill (better off going to the thai place across the street) . I figured I try something new so I chose the sticky rice chicken wraped in a weird leaf ; it was interesting 🤔 😅not too flavorful . I also got the green onion pancake that was good (this review is not all negative RELAX) 👍. Also got the milk tea 🧋(I approve 👌) they didnt have Boba the owner said as he hovered over the waitress. It just seemed like he didnt want to make my order. But over all I dont think Ill go back . Because even if the service was mediocre(by the owner, the girl was sweet) 🙄 😒 when the food is bomb 💣 😋 👌 Ill definitely go back . But not this place . I rather drive 1 hour to Rancho Cucamonga next to 99 ranch theres like 4 dimsum restaurants right next to eachother which are definitely worth the drive. I hope this review helps . But Id still give it a try maybe youll like it 😏

2023-07-17 03:56:17I had the most delightful dining experience at this dim sum restaurant! The variety of dim sum offerings was exceptional, and each dish was expertly crafted with great attention to detail. The Shanghai dumplings were perfectly moist, and the flavors were a symphony in my mouth. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring that my drink was always topped up.

2023-08-06 18:33:13This dim sum will scratch the dim sum itch for those who don’t want to drive an hour. It has all the basics at decent quality. Great place to introduce people to dim sum if they haven’t had it.Tips: don’t sleep on the chicken feet or sticky rice.To the restaurant: if you add porridge to the menu I will come much more often—especially in a flavor difficult to make in the desert, like preserved egg and pork.

2023-07-06 01:17:50Update :Finally got round to trying the stir fried beef with rice sticks. Its a passable version of the dish in sgv, Ive had better and I had worse. Given the low low price its a stonking best buy. Xlb soup dumplings was the same as last time, which scored points for consistency, and its the reason why my friend was addicted and insisted to go there. Also the wonton soup improved: the soup has a deeper flavor and it came together better. Id upgrade it from average to above average. Both could stand comparison to some of the specialist joints in sgv, so save the drive downhill for cravings.Im surprised theres dim sum (small snack like dishes) in Victorville, and I wish them every success as this is one measure if our town is boring or not. All dim sum at a jaw droppingly cheap $4,50.I would split the food I tried into three groups: 1) really good and firmly recommended - hakow (shrimp dumplings ), siumai (pork dumplings ), spareribs and chicken paws;2) recommended with slight reservation : charsiu (roast pork ) bun [dough too soft, may need more kneading or less time steaming, filling was great], xlb Shanghai soup dumplings [seasoning slightly bland, but it has flowing juice so nothing wrong with execution ], egg fried rice [slightly enthusiastic on the oil but flavor was good]3) tasted different from dim sum of the same name as those in sgv, recommended to try at the minimal cost of one go-cup coffee, you may like them - wonton soup, beef balls, chives shrimp cake, and dai bao. For example beef balls resemble more Thai style beef balls with tendons, or dai bao was a giant chicken bun and other ingredients thats traditional with dai bao, but in itself theres nothing wrong with that as long as the taste is okay. Except dont go down to sgv and yell at people for infringement of trades descriptions act of 1963. Everyone can defend themselves by saying its how their grandma cook that.Stir fried beef with rice sticks are sold out at 3pm, so its a hot item. Will return to rectify this omission with update. Never say the high desert dont know a good thing when they see one

2023-05-28 16:18:02Came here for sushi because there were pictures of sushi on Google but they dont have it on their menu. I think it used to be a sushi restaurant and they turned into a dim sum place. Most of the 5-star reviews are from when it was a sushi place.Service is decent but their dim sum is just okay. The only thing we liked was the shu mai and custard buns and we tried a lot. Nothing really has a good flavor or tastes fresh. Ive had freezer dumplings that taste better.I wouldnt recommend the grilled shrimp dumpling. Definitely dont get their Vietnamese coffee. It was mostly ice, not strong at all, and costs more than a coffee somewhere else. This wasnt a vietnamese coffee, just an overpriced cup of ice.

2023-12-05 20:15:45Very clean, good prices. Food is just okay. Fried shrimp ball is disgusting, the texture is like an undercooked meatball. The waitress was very nice but it was only her and she was also the cashier so it took forever to get the check paid like over 15 mins.

2023-03-31 19:53:58The workers here are super friendly. I recommend ordering different options and then sharing with a friend. You can order over the phone for pick up (10 minute wait) or in store - via the counter or you can scan the QR code on the table and order that wayI have dined in as well as ordered to go from here.I recommend:Shu Mai - shrimp and pork (good)BBQ Pork Bun (yummy but needs the hot sauce paste to bring out the flavor)The fried rice (EXCELLENT )Fried Spring Rolls (good)I do not recommend:the wonton soup (bland) 🥟This restaurant used to be ‘Sushi Heart’ and they just renamed the business on Google Maps to keep the old reviews- they do not serve sushi here anymore - so if you see sushi in the photos that’s from old reviews. Don’t be disappointed like my friend was.
