This location is a good alternative from the San Gabriel location if you are near by. Ordered the following and it has all the fixin’ with the quality and service. The menu, compared to San Gabriel location, is smaller and the location is also smaller as well. Won’t go wrong with choosing this place. I recommend the Spicy Chicken, BBQ Beef Ribs, Bibimbap; All combination and Pork Tofu Soup.

We visited this restaurant for the first time. The service was excellent, very considerate. Especially, a young male waiter was always welcoming with a smiling face and very polite. The beef tofu soup was delicious, and the ribs were also tasty. The kimchi and bean sprouts are also very authentic. The only thing is that the portion size of the combination is not very large .We will definitely go there again. Thank you.

First time coming here, the food was fantastic, we ordered the pork cutlet and the spicy chicken. Even though the restaurant was full because it was dinner time, the service was still very fast and the food came in no time. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back!

Excellent BBQ beef ribs and seafood tofu soup are not to be missed! Received a large serving of pork cutlet, shared among 6 persons as an additional dish. The cold vegetable appetizers (including kim chi) are delicious and refillable. Attentive and friendly service staff... highly recommended!

Great soondubu spot near HMart!Very busy place with quick turnaround. We arrived around dinner time on Sunday, and we were third down on the waitlist. But we only had to wait ~10 minFood: big portions and lots of side dishes.Bathroom: men’s restroom was relatively clean! But there’s only one toilet for men.

Food is good! Service is pretty rough. The saddest part is my to go order was spoiled. I had cooler to keep it. So I am very sure its been sitting in the kitchen without good care while I dined at the dining area for about an hour. Very disappointed!!!

People here are really friendly! They accommodated my baby and my family and helped us feel comfortable. The food was also amazing. Ive come here a few times and have not been disappointed. Even though indoor is closed, the outdoor chairs have a nice atmosphere and is clean. Overall I would recommend this place to others. Love the tofu soup combo!

One of my favorite lunch spots. Everything is delicious, but I especially recommend the Spicy Chicken and Beef Octopus Tofu Soup.Its just under $20.00 but its enough to feed two hungry people.

Pork cutlet meal is extremely delicious! They add cabbage, kimchi, seaweed, bean sprouts, and rice to your pieces of pork (plus a very delicious sauce) and this meal is not too expensive! Ordered it with takeout, lasted our family two days all at a great price.

Been to the Diamond Bar and Chino Hills locations and they are both amazing every time. Highly recommend the bibimbap, tofu and dumpling pot, or spicy chicken. Enjoy the generous appetizers including Korean pancake and some cold Hite to wash down the hot tofu pot!

I’ve been in several different Young Dong Tofu, ONLY this branch deserves 5 stars as of Nov 2022. Kimchi taste very fresh!!! Menu is simple.You don’t believe? Try other Yong Dong Tofu’s Kimchi, and compare them. This place doesn’t cut corners, they made it in-house every morning!!!

Came back for second time after first time I ate with my hubby, it was not good but I thought we came late when it almost closed so the food and service were not good as expected. They have advantage when no competitors around for tofu house.Food is expensive, taste is very average and side dish is not as generous and tasty as BDC tofu.I came to order Bibimbap without notice they have hot stone and regular, I order regular. They brought out rice and side dish. When open rice pot, I did not see topping as usually you could see in bibimbap so I called the waitress to make sure that rice is for my table. They said it was, I asked them so where were the topping? They seemed not understand, they kept telling me I order normal one not hot stone. I had to ask so regular does not have topping or what, I did not understand. The lady was very annoyed to me, she sighed in front of me, told me topping will come with Tofu soup later. Yes, all I need to know is information but they did not understand and had attitude to me. In their menu, no picture and explanation for hot stone and regular Bibimbap are same same with Steam rice topped with sautéed beef and etc.Topping came out, beef was very dry, all other ingredient was so cold, if you add hot steam rice to and mix, never it has enough the warm to eat. Not mention, rice is dry and a bit hard as well.I must say since I am too tired for long drive and terrific traffic from OC to home in Pomona, I had to eat food here to gain some energy to keep my driving. I also order 1 to-go for my hubby so that I will not need to cook for tonight after a long day and exhausted drive.They are lucky having no competition so their guest is full always but I believe if BDC or other tofu house come nearby, they will soon be forgotten on market if they are not improving in cooking style and services. I personally will not come back, I will try somewhere else.

Came here with a coworker. I ordered the stone pot bibimbap/tofu soup combo. Delicious! Got the dumpling tofu soup. Good too. Outside seating only still, which is limited. We didnt have to wait to be seated, but it was a late 2pm lunch. Great flavors! I was not disappointed.

This is the best tofu house in a 15 mile radius. Hands down. I’ve tried plenty.The spicy level isn’t strong, so order over your normal level if you like it spicy.The galbi meat quality is up there! Their char level varies, but great most of the time.The ban chans are great and they refill without telling me “this isn’t a buffet”.Service is nice! Warning is they sometimes close early (30min-1hr).They also have a chino hills location. Same quality.

This location is a bit smaller than the chino hills location but the food tastes the same. Love their tofu soups and everything else on the menu from their cold noodles, to katsu, to soups, and meat dishes.I love the endless amount of side dishes, my favorite being the seaweed and the cucumber dishes.We went around 7 pm on a Saturday - there was a much shorter line than their other location which I was very happy about.

Best Korean food in town, hands down. Staff is always quick, responsive and helpful. Food is the best you will have in all surrounding areas outside of LA. Highly recommend, just make sure to get here before the 7pm rush.

Your basic Korean tofu soup place. The tofu soup is well flavored but not that spicy even at the highest level.The major downside to this place is the banchan here is probably the worst Ive ever had. It all tastes extra fishy and salty.The other Korean dishes are okay but the tofu is definitely the highlight.

Great place to get tofu soup, but try coming at a time when it isnt busy. When it is, the quality of food goes down to increase the amount of entrees delivered to each table. The rice was under-cooked and the soups were a little watery. However, when we went at a not-so-busy time, the meals were great.

The environment of the place is pretty nice. Like the food here a lot more compared to the other ones in the area. They offer a free pancake thats actually quite good. Pretty inexpensive for the portion they give you as well so its a good place for both lunch and dinner

Probably my favorite Korean restaurant in the Diamond Bar area. The place is always crowded, and there are always older Koreans eating here (a good sign). What stands out here are the side dishes, especially the jeon, and the nonspicy chicken. You cant go wrong with eating anything on the menu but I have to recommend everybody try the nonspicy chicken. The only downside is the wait and service can take a while but because theyre always busy its to be expected.

We were here for visit number two today for lunch. Boys are always in need of a decent slab of ribs (yes at Tofu House) and time to sling verbal bastinado or two in witty company--- Young Dong Tofu House (YDT) offered a potential solution. This tofu house we found quite serene upon entry with non-existent cacophony (some of us just love vibrant environments teaming with noise). Monday afternoon was quiet enough to hear base clinks of silver chopsticks kept in box on east side of table.Our party ordered tofu soup (see photos) and ribs. First item out was the salad. Fresh indeed. Dressing was in-house vinaigrette followed by bursting with color and spice Kimchi (fermented Korean side dish). Rice came in a hot pot. Crispy rice lined the sides of hot pot and made a silent companion to drop in asymmetrical blobs directly into bubbling tofu soup. Choice is given to order mild/spicy on most dishes.Service was prompt with elicited smiles and hurried feet. The ribs were definitely extracurricular per Professor and this was one time he actually ate the rice (despite some spastic rant about kernels in 2012). My call on this one is exceptional service and five star predication cuisine. No reason for apprehension about Korean BBQ; try it, spice it and experience healthy exotic cuisine.

I stopped by while visiting a relative and was surprised that it tasted better than Korea. Not only soft tofu, but also galbitang and giant pork cutlet are really delicious.
