2023-10-01 02:53:21House Special Beef noodle soup is up to our standard! We are happy 😊.Dumplings are a bit softer than usual which is fine because it tastes good.People are nice and the place is clean.

2023-10-03 05:00:11My favorite dumpling place came to Burlingame! Absolutely loved the food in this branch as well and I almost want to keep this place a secret because of how much I love it. The beef noodle soup is unlike any I’ve had, it’s actually really light but still incredibly flavorful and the beef is very tender. All of the soup dumplings are great with the soup also being light but flavorful. The pig ear with chili oil is a go-to appetizer for me as well, spicy but so good. Definitely will be coming back!

2023-10-07 20:16:18Food was too salty and the potstickers seems to be dumplings. The rice and braised spareribs was ok but the portion are smaller than other restaurants. The soup was basically water, salt and some vegetables but not a base bone soup with deep flavors.

2023-11-22 01:45:37I wanted to give this new restaurant in the area a try since I heard many good things about it. The place is brand new which makes everything quite clean and service is quick to take your order or use the qr menu. I ordered the cucumber salad, dumpling in chili oil (pork, shrimp, chive), and Pork xiao long bao. The cucumber salad had a little too much oil for my taste but it was okay…probably something I would not order again. The dumplings and xiao long bao are tasty…good flavor and texture but nothing too amazing. Solid 4 out of 5 for the food.

2023-11-28 06:25:11Incredible Staff, great food, and always consistent. Delicious Dumplings, noodles are amazing, and their soup dumplings are out of this world. What impresses me the most about this restaurant is the reverence and respect they treat ALL their guests with.A BIG THANK YOU to the staff that always smiles, no matter how busy they are!

2023-10-29 00:30:48I was looking forward to the opening of this place because how convenient it is. Unfortunately I think it could have been so much better. It offers many choices which is weird for a restaurant meant as a jiaozi restaurant. Many people probably know the Japanese word for the dumplings as gyoza (typically fried which is non traditional for Chinese).Jiaozi is very simple to cook so for it to be a mainstay of a restaurant, the restaurant needs to make it better than what you can get from supermarket and unfortunately I dont think they are. The filling is a little off so the jiaozi after they are cooked felt shriveled. Either the wrapping wasnt done properly or there just needs to be more fillings.Im not sure where the ones making jiaozi is from but doesnt feel like they are from Northern China where jiaozi is known for. Something is off most in the skins and the fillings of the jiaozi.I wouldnt be so critical if this is the only one serving dumplings but not far in San Bruno there is just a much better choice.Anyways the place is conveniently located, has a good interior and service is alright. Its not bad just not good enough for me to warrant more than 3 stars.

2023-12-09 02:48:01We went two weeks into soft open and I usually am skeptical during soft openings because the staff is still figuring it out. Not here.Theyre ready for the big show. The food is excellent. Every dish we had was awesome.

2023-12-03 20:20:26The restaurants location used to be Buy Watch. The current setting feels open and clean. They have an open kitchen at the end, you can see they hand make all the dumplings, and noodles. The dumplings are around 11.99 per dish(12 PCs), you can order with soup, or without soup. We ordered the Nappa Cabbage and pork dumplings (no soup), pork, shrimp, chive and egg dumplings (with soup), pork Xiao long bao (6pcs), Chili oil dumplings (8 pcs), and cucumber salad. Very tasty food.

2023-10-07 04:25:51I was really excited to try Yuanbao Jiaozi because I read an article about them from SF Chronicle and saw how popular their SF location was. Im Chinese, and I love good Chinese food, so I was pretty disappointed.Uni dumplings - interesting concept, but barely any uni; it was a little bland for me (since Im an uni lover) but it wasnt that expensive at least.Marinated Beef - too dry, and too thick. Good marinated beef needs to be cooked well (I think the one I had was overcooked) and sliced thinly; if its too thick, its not as enjoyable because it feels more like a hunk of beef than a delicate appetizer (if youve had it sliced at the perfect thickness, you know what I mean.)Beef, Lamb and Fish dumplings - the only flavors I could discern were salt, salt, and a hint of lamb. The wrapper to filling ratio was also off; too much wrapper on the outside.Mushroom and Fish dumplings - also mostly salt and some mushroom. White fish has a delicate flavor to begin with. If you overpower it with too much mushroom and salt, you cant enjoy the fish.House special beef noodle - salt. Its just a salt broth. In general, I think the positive aspect of this place is its rather affordable. If youre not Chinese, want some affordable homemade dumplings, this may be the place for you. But if you know what youre looking for and have similar cravings as I do, Id say pass on this place. I know Im being picky in my review, and that is because I know what really good dumplings can taste like.I came during their soft opening, so I hope theyre just working things out and will improve in the future. To the owners - if you love Chinese dumplings as much as me, I know you can do better! 加油 :))Uni dumpling ...wheres the uni?

2023-10-10 20:14:59Five-Star Experience at YuanBao Jiaozi! 🥟I recently had the pleasure of dining at YuanBao with my team members, and I must say it was a stellar experience from start to finish! The cleanliness of the establishment was impressive, reflecting a commitment to hygiene that added to the overall comfort of the dining environment. The open kitchen concept not only provided a glimpse into the culinary artistry but also reassured me of the transparency and quality of the food preparation process. The highlight, undoubtedly, was the unique experience of ordering freshly made dumplings on the spot. The convenience of choosing your fillings and witnessing the skilled chefs expertly crafting the dumplings right before your eyes adds a delightful touch to the dining experience. The noodles were a revelation - perfectly cooked with an ideal firmness, showcasing a dedication to achieving that ideal al dente texture. The freshness and tastiness of the soup were equally impressive, elevating the entire meal to a memorable culinary journey.I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a delightful and authentic dumpling and noodle experience. A definite five-star gem! 🌟🥢
