This spot is great. I love the fact that your not over loaded with quantity of each item. The quality and there own twist of the foods are amazing. As walking in the staff greets the customers which makes a pleasant welcoming environment. The oysters are amazing. But imo all the foods in the pictures are delicious. Its worth the price for the freshness.

Update 2022:The quality of sushi at this place has gone down a lot and the price has gone up significantly (AYCE) which is sad because our family loved eating here especially during birthdays and other occasions. Weve tried it 3 more times just to make sure the chef was not just having a bad day but nope, we were disappointed each time. Sayonara Ozen.Ive been to other AYCE sushi restaurants like sake2me, sushi damu, hoshi sushi, etc but ozen sushi is the one that I would come back to. I love nigiri sushi and this is the only AYCE sushi place that did not disappoint. Their fish is bigger and of higher quality than the other restaurants I mentioned. AYCE Dinner is about $27 per person, no long lines, friendly servers and simple casual ambiance. The only thing I didnt like was the salmon sushi with mango on top (salmango is what they called it) and the Paradise roll didnt really take me to Paradise, lol. But other than that, I really like this restaurant. Ill definitely come back when Im in the area.

It tasted Good. However, this Sushi Restaurant is Good for Rolls. Nigiri Sushis (Ordinary Sushi) Quality is not so good. It was so Easy to Break Sushi when I picked them up. And also, the Sushi Chef made Order Misses very often.

New management turned an ok all you can eat sushi restaurant into a pretend Japanese restaurant. Lousy sushi, and cold atmosphere. We were there at noon and the only table occupied. We left after trying a few ‘rolls’ and they were still empty. Friday lunch? Terrible.

Ozen was my favorite AYCE locations in OC so it’s unfortunate that they took that option away. I loved their seared salmon and oh honey rolls. We found out after arriving at the location, took a look at the menu, and decided to leave. I debated staying and trying it out at first but the prices are pretty steep and we would have spent more, ate less, than we did at a different AYCE (try out AYCE HB. Not the same as Ozen but still good). I’m not sure what the thought process behind this decision was as they had a lot of customers and busy restaurant when they were AYCE.

Not AYCE anymore. This was my husband’s and I favorite place. I think it’s under new ownership too. Fish not as fresh or just something off. Still got our usual and it was just off. The service is not what it use to be either. We’ll need to find a new place now.

Yuka is a reset from Ozen. Ozen ruined their reputation. When offering sushi the restaurant shouldnt cut corners. It says under new management so we gave it another chance.

Quality, quality, quality! Of course, quantity, too! My new favorite local ayce sushi spot. So much better than extreme sushi in Los Alamitos (dont go there).Service is superb and the fish is so fresh. Staff are really friendly and really accommodating. We really enjoyed our dining experience here.

It is an authentic Japanese dining experience. I was greeted at the door and given the the same treatment as if I were a dine-in guest. I ordered a to-go tuna roll and it was finished in less than two minutes. When I got back to my hotel however, I opened the box and saw a dark hair stuck to the styrofoam.

The sushi was ok I usually come here with coworkers so it was nice to be back after being shut down, however the service awful and we did get there an hour before closing but the waitress helping us was pretty rude she brought the tab and asked us to pay now, horrible customer service it ruined my appetite. Afterwards Ofcourse my coworker and I felt uncomfortable, and they still asked if anything was wrong, then after we pay and sigh the waitress says oh no you still have 15 min at that point Im pretty much getting kicked out. I understand we went in close to closing but i feel she couldve said it since the beginning, instead she offered us all we can eat, so we figured they would close till everyone finished eating. Dont think I will be back to this ozen.

Been going to this location for years for the AYCE sushi. Went there tonight, theres a sign on the door announcing new management change starting May 1st and another sign saying no more AYCE! We went in to verify and they confirmed.....no more. There was NO ONE inside eating. A complete ghost town. These are the signs of going out of business.Bye Ozen, we had a good run.

We came in post all you can eat and well as the saying goes, once a sushi restaurant goes all you can eat, its downhill. The chef served the sashimi in the same manner each time. There was no originality in the plating and sliced awkwardly in both shape and thickness. Perhaps a novice chef.Service was subpar considering only 2 of us in the place. Lacked knowledge in Sake.Ambiance and decor were nice.Will not repeat sadly.

Food was good, but service was slow. Took 20 minutes before they took our order, I got a bento box + a side of rice. Hubby got the All You Can Eat. Took 20 minutes for my food, another 10 minutes for his, then 5 more minutes for my extra side of rice. Drinks were not refilled, and 2 hours after sitting down, he finally got his 2nd round, but everyone else was done eating. Not sure we will be going back anytime soon.

Worst sushi restaurant I ever went...1. Hispenic waitress was so rude and had no knowledge of the menu. I asked her about a dish and she did not know what I was talking about.2. Food quality was bad. The soyu ramen did not taste good at all. I can cook better than that.3. If there was a quarter star, I would have given that. Its not even worth one star.

The sashimi we had did not taste fresh and the prices were high for the small quantity that was delivered. Ive heard the other Ozen Sushi locations are good. I would not recommend this one. I wont be coming back. There are so many other good sushi restaurants in the Cypress area.

Been here twice now. My first experience was very good. A large selection of items. Great food that tastes fresh. They have some items on their menu like all sushi places that just cant be duplicated elsewhere and are amazing. Their service the first time on a much busier night was very good. However last nights service was pretty bad. Will go back once again and see if it was just an off day.

5 stars for the food, 3 stars for the service. So our local American Legion is down the street. Ive ordered here 3 times via postmates to the legion and it has been great. Last night 5 of us from the post decided to dine in, and here it is.We showed up at 21:10 (9:10 pm), they close at 22:00. 3 of us decided to do all you can eat. The other 2 ordered meals. At 21:30 another server, not ours, walked over to tell us last call after we just received our first round of sushi. The problem I have with this, is if we were going to be limited on time we should have been told before we sat down. Or we should have been discounted slightly.

Was actually surprised to find AYCE Sushi-Ozen located in north Orange County and so conveniently close. Located in shopping plaza, its a easy find.Walking in immediately we are greeted by every staff personnel and welcomed by an elegant, clean relaxing atmosphere. Booths are spacious and the lighting is not so dark where its trying to create an overwhelming romance vibe, but also not too bright where you feel almost interrogated by your dentist. (lol youll know what i mean if youve eaten out long enough).Menu has a great array of dishes to choose from and presented beautifully. Food is delicious and tastes fresh and flavorful.Now, personally, the only thing I would possibly say/recommend is, if youre hANGry or starving ... um.. it does take quite some time for your dishes to come out and brought to the table. Little one would begin to get ants in their pants waiting between each plate and the rounds. Myself and others, wed finish the food excited for the next dish but as we played the waiting game the high would drop and at the end of our meal, it felt as though we didnt really get to eat and felt unfulfilled.Since wed waited very long between times e decided not to go for a third round because we started to feel frustrated and the thought of waiting again felt challenging. Another thing I did notice, waiting staff seemed rushed to get you out and although very polite and friendly we werent asked for refills or offered more of say ginger or wasabi unless we ourselves requested it. Two of the items we did order in our second round were never brought to us but, again, the thought of waiting even longer... *deep breath*

My family went for lunch on a weekday. Got the AYCE deal. The rolls and sushi were our favorite, but so was the spicy edamame, salads, sunomono, tempura, etc. Eat more veggies! Great service. I bailed out of the neighboring pho place (very bad service there, or lack thereof) and came to this very nice sushi restaurant, where I was immediately greeted and seated, then was bought out a nice big beer and a delicious plate of food that chased my beer. Everything was delicious, and the next time Im in Cypress on an overnighter, I will be stopping back in here, where the food is great and the service is spot on.
