Been to over 200 poke joints. Quality of fish is the most important aspect if a good poke bowl. Another factor is freshness. This place has neither. This place is a hard pass for me next time. Hot rice with room temperature sushi was def weird too. They should both be same temperature. $22 for a bowl that doesn’t even taste good is wild. Hope the owner reads this.

When i first ate it the cucumber tasted fresh. the crab salad was amazing. the salmon, albacore, and ahi tuna all tasted amazing. the sweet treat was also delicious. the food was ready as soon as i got there. one thing that i would change is that the server disregarded me when i went into the room. he saw me walk in but then turned around to do something else when i was in line. although my order had a coke which he should have made, he just gave me a cup and told me to make it myself. if it wasn’t for that worker it would have been five stars.

This is my favorite poke place!. So far I have 3 other poke places to compare to and non of them came close to yummy poke . The workers are awesome! Very helpful and will happily guide you through your first visit if youve never tried poke before. I like the freshness of the ingredients, the flavors, being able to make my own creation and the almost no wait time. They are Quick to pack your favorites and being so close to the movies, make it and take it! check out my bowl, I added lots of yummy! Great shop, greatest workers, try it if you havent yet. Been coming here for years. I have spread the word on how amazing this place is for a long time. Over the course of a year prices have risen and potions are smaller. Which is fine with me, I want to support local businesses. Now items that were included cost extra, like seaweed salad. I don’t mind paying for it but when the portions are the size of a table spoon for a $1.50 it’s hard to justify coming here over other places. I have gotten these sizes every time recently.

Ordered a mixed green bowl with salmon, tuna, cucumber, and avocado. Scoops were decent size and the fish was fresh. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. Nice spot for a quick lunch. Wasnt very crowded in the afternoon.

We can this place happy poke because it makes us happy. Excellent poke, very fast service. Limited seating, we usually pick up to go. If youve never tried a poke bowl, heres a favorite order: regular bowl with mixed greens, 2 scoops ahi, one scoop spicy ahi; ponzu, house and a little spicy wasabi sauces; crab salad, seaweed salad, green onions, avocado and masago. Lots of other protein, sauce and topping choices. Yummy!

Recently dined in ordered 2 large bowls at $30.68 for both. An additional $3.12 for seaweed salad. No worth the price. Something did not taste fresh enough either the salmon or tuna. I also understand that restaurants are always looking after their food cost but the portion size for 2 bowls does not match the price. It’s too steep. $36.25 with no drinks it’s crazy! Also, if you’re going to charge extra for the seaweed salad make it more than a 1oz pinch. Nice employees who provide good customer service.

Delicious Poke! Got a Large (seen in photo) letting me choose 4 different protein options. Very filling but you dont feel stuffed at the end which is nice. Cost me about $15/bowl after all said and done with the avocado I added. About the same price as some sushi rolls in other restaurants. So, not a bad price when you look at it that way. Not to mention that every single bite taste yummy and fresh! Ill be back.

I have never really ate poke bowls until recently. My first time I tried it was at Yummy Poke. it was SO delicious and fresh and I feel in love Poke. I tried another Poke place in Sacramento and I was disgusted. Now I only go to Yummy Poke. I always get pickup so I havent eaten in the restaurant per say but it is very clean when I walk in and walk out. I see reviews complaining about prices but I think the price for amount and quality of food is pretty reasonable in todays world. You cant buy a fast food combo meal anymore for under $15 nowadays people!I highly recommend Yummy Poke!

I was very disappointed in the food. Rice was dry like it had been stored in a fridge. Protein portions were fine, but the scallops tasted old. My wife ordered a half order of salad, she ended up with what looked like a pinch of greens.Service was great quick and easy, cant fault the staff at all for the owners going cheap.

Its pretty awesome. Best way to describe it is poké meets Chipotle. The staff is very helpful with offering suggestions for topping combinations. The result is a bowl of tasty goodness that makes conversation not a priority because you are stuffing your face.

Ordered spam musubi and tofu bowl on doordash.The tofu bowl has no customization options and had a picture with several toppings. The bowl arrived as ONLY tofu and mixed greens - not even any rice.A a rice crispy treat (other brand) was substituted for the musubi and I was charged an extra dollar.Ultimately, I got nothing I asked for and had to pay extra money. I called the store and the manager explained that its the owners fault for putting menu items incorrectly into the doordash database but offered nothing to make the situation whole.This is not my first bad experience with this restaurant. I will not be going back or ordering again from them.

Very disappointing. I paid for 4 proteins and they forgot one. The 3rd protein was about 1 tablespoon of crab salad (or it would’ve been additional $3.50 charge), the other two proteins was barely an ounce each. They were very generous with jalapeños however. I actually had to put soy sauce to add some flavor. Plus they charge more than any other poke restaurant I’ve been to. The servers were friendly and the food was ready quickly but I don’t think I’ll be back again.

My boyfriend and I ate here on 1/18. We both got salmon and tuna, I didnt like the food. The fish had no flavor and was very chewy so I stopped eating it. My boyfriend finished his and Im very certain got food poisoning from it. We had our salmon served from the same batch but the tuna came from different containers. This is the only thing we ate that day so it was the food from this place.I tried calling today 1/19 to let the store know that their food was either improperly stored or contaminated but no one picked up.Other than that the service was not great and the employees didnt wear masks.I looked into why the reviews for this place are so high and it seems to be that their food and service was great when they first opened but now as severely gone downhill. Tons of people went back to update 5 star reviews to 1/2 stars. I assume there hasnt been enough people updating their reviews to affect the over all ratings but I would steer clear of this place for now.

My wife and I have always enjoyed this place, however our last couple of visits have not been worth it at all.Im sorry but if you are out of rice, out of carrots, out of fried onions, out of furikake and multiple other items, then dont charge me $1.50 for a spoonful of seaweed salad and .50 for fish eggs. Beyond ridiculous, and if you dont have your ingredients then its a rip off.

By far the best quality AND the best price. Greatest portions and bang for your buck out of any poke places in the Sacramento area! Im serious! Im a huge fan of a good poke bowl and have gone to mutliple spots. Im glad I live close to a place with food at such as quality as this, with such a great price. Avocado+crab salad and I pay just around 15 bucks, where any other place I pay 17-18 dollars for unripe avocado and veggies that arent fresh GO HERE. NO JOKE. BEST POKE IN THE AREA, AT A PRICE YOU CANT BEAT.

Its a very spacious place. You walk in and youll notice the atmosphere of the place and as you continue, youll be ready to begin your order. You go down the list as usual, however being a person that has traveled to many poke places, I realized the portions are extremely small compared to other locations with the same price. I got half of the protein here than I did compared to other locations. We need a slightly bigger portion. On the bright side, the additions are quite delicious. They make up for the lost proteins, my favorite being the seaweed salad. Must try if youre a seaweed person. Overall great experience. Slightly improvements would be the portion size.

Don’t let the negative reviews fool you. They are either for the yogurt shop next door or written by people who have no idea what poke is about. Who eats noodles with raw fish? Lol. By far the best poke around and this place holds the standard for how my poke bowl should be everywhere. Portion sizes are great, fish is fresh, they maintain a very clean restaurant which is exactly what you’d want in a restaurant that is serving raw fish. We must protect Yummy Poke at all cost!

Blown away by the overall quality and quickness of the food and staff. The menu is easily followable, and if its youre first time just let the staff know. Theyll walk you through whats behind the counter. I didnt feel rushed or interrogated by any employees when I came in for the first time. One of the employees recommended favorite flavor combinations from guests that frequently come in, too. It was an overall excellent experience, we came in around 11:10 am, and the staff was already hard at work. We left with our to-go orders within 5 minutes as well. Just overly satisfied, Yummy Poké definitely lived up to the hype, and my own excitement.If you really enjoy sushi, sashimi, or Japanese style cuisine. Yummy Poké is definitely the deconstructed sushi joint to eat at!

Ive an avid fisherman and I am accustomed to fresh fish. My favorite is sashime right off the boat. I was skeptical of local Poke restaurants, that is before Yummy Poke. Bar none, Yummy Poke has the freshest fish in the Greater Sacramento Area. Not only can you expect a wild caught fresh poke bowl, you are always greeted with a smile. Their customer service is superb. I met the owner and he is a fellow Army veteran. No wonder this place is so clean! If you are looking for fresh poke at an affordable price, look no further, Yummy Poke is the place to go!

I really, really love this place, but am always a tad disappointed because they are always out of something that I love to get in my poke bowl (out of tuna a few times, out of onions, green onions, jalapeños, some of the sauces). I started to call ahead to make sure they have ingredients after multiple times of getting halfway through making my bowl before finding out they are out of my favorite ingredients.They do have huge portion sizes, the fish always tastes fresh and they have a great selection when fully stocked!I really want to give you guys 5 stars, just keep your yummy ingredients in stock!!

Never had poke before. It was like a tasty sushi tornado bowl... until an hour after finishing it...when I got home I felt nauseous and well... you can guess what happened next. Great fresh fish and toppings. The spicy tuna is my favorite but you can’t go wrong here. I’ve enjoyed their salmon, tuna, scallops, and spicy salmon, too. The house and ponzu sauce are great. Haven’t tried the other sauces, yet. Plenty of toppings from seaweed salad to corn to green onion and more, but the squid salad is bomb. Pay the extra dollar for it and you won’t regret it.

Service needs a lot of improvement. Although I like poke, it’s a disappointment that pretty much the only place in Roseville area is a low quality one. I always order brown rice everywhere I eat. Here, brown rice was not fresh at all. It was old and had already hardened making it hard to chew. Also, my tuna had a plastic piece in it that looked like a bone. It might have been a bone. I was super lucky to have caught it before swallowing it. Not sure if I’ll be returning to this place

Walking in, it was super spacious, dainty tables & chairs all around except for your path to order your bowl.The menu is simple:1. Pick your base-Rice(white or brown) Mixed greens(salad)2. Pick your protein.Salmon, Tuna, Spicy Tuna, Spicy Salmon Albacore, Octopus.3. Choose your Sauce-Ponzu, Sweet Unagi, Sesame Shoyu, Sriracha Aioli, Wasabi Cream.4. Choose your Toppings-White Onion, Cucumber, Corn, Jalapeno, Edamame, Ginger and Carrot.5. Choose your Spice- Furikake, Crispy Onion, Dry Seaweed, Roasted Sesame Seed.The young man behind the counter let me sample the spicy tuna and spicy salmon... I did not like how mushy it was compared to the regular cubed fish. I also suggest sampling the sauces before you pick your protein if your not sure which one to go with.For my creation, I had hot cooked white rice, with salmon & tuna tossed in the Sesame Shoyu sauce, with imitation crab, onion, cucumber, edamame, and ginger topped with onion, Tobiko, and Furikake..My take?First, the bamboo chopsticks had an odd smell to them, every bite I took, I smelled the chopsticks, so I switched to a tiny plastic fork. I have been in here 3 times now only for my love the food which is delicious. But all three times I have gotten horrendous service. First time, its empty for a decent 3 three minutes, I think everyone working was watching some important game behind the curtain. When someone finally gets to me, I feel rushed & the guy helping me was not helpful what-so-ever, and the guy goes back behind the curtain without giving us our drink and when I go up and scream for them because no ones at the counter the guy is annoyed I interrupted his game. Second and third time still equally as bad where they just stare at you expecting you to know whats going on. Im new to poke and would love to come back. The customer service training is obviously lacking. Teach your employees to smile for gods sake.

Staff was super friendly and they were more than happy to help with anything and kept a smile on their face even as another guest had broken a drink glass on the floor. Ahi, Tuna, Salmon, and Scallops were all a bit fishy but still palletable. Masego/Tombiko was very good and you get a generous amount when you order it on your bowl. Spicy salmon and tuna was VERY spicy, if you enjoy wasabi spice its definitely for you. Overall OK poke shop but has a very fast food-esqe vibe to it.

Last night I went around 8:30 PM to get a salmon poke bowl and the guy who is making the bowls informed me that they’re out of salad and salmon and one other thing I can’t remember. I can understand the salmon being out because it come fresh daily. But the salad there’s no excuse for that besides the guy was lazy and didn’t want to go get it from the back. The bar was a mess there is tuna coming out the side falling into the other container.There is definitely Cross-contamination happening. And the guy working I was like oh well I don’t care I’m getting off of work so what do you want me to do. So I decided I would not get tuna and left. I was sitting in my car I noticed a couple go to the door at 8:45 and the door was locked they seemed upset because they said they had drove 15 minutes to get there the store closed15 minutes early. I won’t say They don’t have a good bowls because they do I just think the employees working there are taking away from the establishment .

You have to try this amazing poke! Always fresh fish and vegetables. I like the large bowl (more proteins) with salmon, albacore, spicy tuna, and spicy salmon on mixed greens. I add cucumber, edamame, green onions, seaweed salad, pickled ginger, fresh jalapeños, sriracha aioli, wasabi cream, toasted sesame seeds, a bit of wasabi, and then dried seaweed on top.
