2023-06-12 03:11:56Really solid food, especially their Chinese hamburger (肉夹馍). We got the pork one and it’s stuffed to the brim. Super juicy and tender. They also have lamb and beef.Felt like their skewers are a little overpriced but they still tasted good. The meat was a bit tough at times because of the tendons. The lamb soup (羊肉泡馍) is very flavourful. It has glass noodles and the soup is perfect for a cold day.Their cold noodle was very pleasant as well. Has lots of sesame flavours and the texture was nice. Will definitely come back to try their other Chinese hamburgers!

2023-06-11 02:05:56The pork hamburger or Chinese name Ro Ja Ma… literary trabajares to meat and buns can’t be beat especially at $6.Juicy pork with cumin and 5 spice is pure heaven.Chive shrimp dumplings is devoid of shrimp though and full of pork fat. Comatose from all the grease I consumed.Authentic Chinese food that’s reasonable worth the return trip to sample all the other goodies here.

2022-07-23 17:45:01Small restaurant in the middle of nowhere, but its authenticity and quality of food shouldn’t be doubted. We absolutely love everything here and we actually tried everything on the memo (small menu). The lamb stew with pancake in it is the best - the soup is so tasty and the lamb just fresh. Amazing! I would drive 25min from the city just to have a bowl of that. The spicy and hot pot has very strange flavor while preserving the taste from the ingredient.Anything that is barbecued is also recommended - it’s prepared carefully with well balanced flavor.Overall, it’s a fantastic restaurant. Don’t expect too much service or environment if you decide to eat there. But food will defiantly dazzle you.Ps, we every now and then pay $20-30 just to get delivery from here. We live in the city

2022-04-22 08:33:24***Review Update : I recently picked up food from this place. Havent seen a more disorganized and unhygienic looking food business. Check how bleach is stacked with produce 🧅 and placed on top of cooking oil. Wonder if the place ever had any food inspection certification done. The cumin lamb burger was okay and fortunately I didnt fall sick, but Ill probably stay away from ordering here.***Older review :Its great to have a place in northern peninsula that specialize on Shanxi cuisine. The Chinese burgers with pork were great, Im eager to try the burger with cumin lamb next. The Xian lamb soup was a very hearty meal with great portions. Will definitely visit and try more of their menu.

2022-06-27 00:07:51Good, classic, no frills Chinese food. If your a fan of dumplings and skewers then you’ll definitely like this place. It’s authentic Chinese at its best, what more could you ask for. And a special Kudos on delivering to downtown SF. Also, you’ll get a good amount of food for the price too.

2023-07-16 04:55:08The food here is pretty good. They have some of the best Xian cold noodles in the bay area. The Chinese hamburger is not bad, with a generous amount of pork in it, which is mixed with green bell peppers. The Chinese hamburger contains more bell peppers compared to other restaurants, which can be good or bad, depending on your preference. Their pork and leek dumpling are pretty average, the lamb soup is okay, and the grilled meat is slightly above average. The cucumber salad is not made with Persian cucumbers, but rather a variety with less crunch, and a more squashy flavor. The service is efficient, with nothing to complain about. The kitchen at this restaurant is not walled off, so you can see them preparing your food, which is pretty cool. If you are looking for Texas Barbecue, look elsewhere - they only serve Chinese barbecue. If you enjoy Xian cold noodles and Chinese hamburger, this place is a great choice.

2022-12-18 21:21:47This mom and pop shop is a hole in the wall gem. I got the Chinese pork hamburger and lamb soup with bread. The pork filling was savory and flavorful. The lamb soup was so delicious and comforting. I wish they put in more lamb meat but if you dip that burger bread into the soup it hits the spot. A great place if you want to pick up comfort food during the cold winters, when youre feeling sick, or after a night of partying. 10/10

2022-08-29 18:59:54First time here. Highly recommend the roujiamo with pork or beef, and the lamb soup! Plus, it opens late and is close to SFO, so makes it a perfect snacking place after a long flight!

2021-11-13 03:48:12Absolutely DELICIOUS food. So hard to find northern Chinese cuisine in the states and this was a gem and offered a lot of the food I grew up with in China. I got the xi’an cold noodles and the grilled chicken wings. Both were really authentic. The chicken wings were DELICIOUS and flavorful with every single bite and a ton of cumin. The cold noodles were garlicky and had the perfect sauces to go with it.The only drawback I have is I ordered on Chowbus here on Google and the restaurant didn’t receive the order until I got there and they looked for it on their phone. They said they don’t take orders on Chowbus—maybe forgetting they have it enabled? They preferred UberEats for pickup. That or one of the Chinese ordering apps which I will probably default to now for future orders. Will definitely be back!!
