Z Sushi & Asian Food Restaurant in Redlands

A new jewel of a restaurant. We came inside thinking it was similar to a fast food restaurant but we were pleasantly surprised to find a nice sit down location.My daughter loves sushi so usually I end up getting a tempura dish but happily there were many items to pick from.My daughter chose her favorite California roll and I had the beef fried rice. It was loaded with crispy bites of carrot, peas, celery and onion which we not only shared but had some to take home.After complementing our chef we were surprised with a serving of Tea leaf salad and hot jasmine tea. Our hostess explained that this is usually eaten as an appetizer with the tea. The tea leaf salad has a punch of flavor and the sweet tea helps smooth the palate. I liked the crunchiness of the salad.I would give this a 100% happy dance in my chair.!Add to that they have a drive through for a quick 🛻 pickup.

My son and I had the best experience at this restaurant! The staff was so helpful. We werent sure what to get on the menu, but were looking for certain things. We ordered an eel roll with rice and cucumber and a salmon roll with rice for my son whos 11 yrs old. They were able to give us exactly what we wanted. The sushi was so fresh. The seaweed was easily chewed (which has been an issue with past sushi restaurants). Some of the best sushi we have had.They recommended a great salad (tea leaf salad - tasted great), and their proportions are very generous for everything we ordered including the miso soup. They made my son this really pretty layered ice cream with Jell-O at the bottom, vanilla ice cream, and cherry juice, he really enjoyed drinking it like a milkshake.We spent $44 on 2 sushi rolls, a full meal proportioned soup and salad, a mint, cucumber, and lime slush, and a large layered ice cream.The waiter was very thoughtful, attentive, and kind, and my son even observed how careful he was with everything he did. All around a great experience. The food came out very quick.It looks like a take out joint when you walk in, but they actually have very nice booths and high quality tables as well as really pretty decorations on the ceiling and walls.

We got some sushi via the drive-thru and they were so friendly and helpful. Food didnt take too long and was delicious! Next time were going to sit down!

New place with good food at good prices. The staff are super friendly. Perfect place for lunch or quick dinner
