I cannot stress how much this restored my soul. I came at 9p on a Sunday and ordered the #9 with a chicken enchilada and tamale. The warm chips and salsa were great, the staff was exceptional, and my food came in roughly five minutes. My total was $15.95 but would have been only $10 if I had gone a la carte vs the very excellent beans/rice in the combo so there are options based on your hunger level and price aim. Every other table seemed to be loving the giant burrito so I’d recommend that based on what the regulars were ordering.

Ive only been there once, but it was a great start. Chips & salsa and Toms burrito (pictured) were absolutely excellent. There was no music playing, and that wouldve been nice. I look forward to coming here plenty whenever Im in CA.

Mexican restaurant in Hawthorne with generous portion sizes. Came here with a friend on a Saturday around 6:30 for dinner and left super full. There is limited parking in the front but there’s parking available in the residential neighborhoods. Both indoor and outdoor dining is available. Credit cards are accepted.Complimentary chips and salsa is provided. The service was very friendly and the food came out quickly. We got a side order of guacamole which was very smooth and creamy. The Tom’s burrito had a few chunks of tough meat, but overall, the sauce outside was tasty (it’s a tad spicy too). There’s a generous amount of cheese, and I had half a burrito for lunch the next day. My friend really enjoyed her crispy tacos (they came in 2) and also had a taco for leftovers.

Brilliant. So so good. And affordable. The meatball soup has fluffy and perfectly spiced meatballs. Salsa is perfection. Chili Relleno is out of this world. Shrimp taco is unique, fresh, and fantastic.

We came from East coast to West for vacation. During visiting we found this local Mexican restaurant near LAX airport. We tried “Menudo”which is one of famous among Mexican food. This restaurant cook very delicious Menudo. Also all employees are very friendly. My boyfriend and I spent well and enjoyed our dinner. (Note: most of restaurants sell Menudo only on Weekends but this restaurant sell wknd and Monday included)

Great lil place for some really good food! The service is great n very friendly. I had the Toms burrito and it was not as good as other reviews mentioned but still good. Im not big on whole Pinto beans but thats my preference. The Chorizo n eggs was so good n I dont really like to eat chorizo all that much. The portions were huge so go hungry!! I still gave this place 5 stars for the overall experience. Will definitely make if a must go to place when we return to LA.

Great Mexican with good portions. We ordered the chicken fajitas - quite filling and tasty, the chicken quesadilla, and the most famous burrito as recommended by the staff (its with strips of steak inside and they are not shy on the amount of beef they use). We couldnt finish our food due to portion size. Its definitely a good price quantity ratio. While we were there we saw one or two families that seemed to be regulars which is always a great sign! Very quick service and really nice staff

This spot always delivers the goods. The service is always hospitable and friendly. The salsa is fresh and ample. Prices are standard. Ive had multiple dishes from this restaurant and have enjoyed them all.The birria is excellent. The enchilada is cheesy and the sauce is fantastic. Tacos are also delicious and come in the hard shell with cheese and lettuce or classic style with corn tortillas and onions cilantro (as pictured below).

Amazing and delicious food worth even better customer service! We found this place on Yelp after flying back into LAX and needing some lunch before driving home. The red sauce they use is so good! The attentive and fast service on ordering, refills, etc. was on point and impressive. We will definitely stop back in if we’re ever back in the area again. Pictured is the Asada Deluxe Burrito. You can’t see what’s inside but I promise it was amazing!

Ultra friendly staff, with an extensive menu and good food. We had a nice ceviche, steak fajitas (really tender beef), and carnitas taco (so flavorful!!). Prices were decent, and the place was packed on a Thursday night. Fortunately we didn’t have to wait long to get a table.

I seriously crave this place everytime Im visiting the city. We always come early enough before the crowd, but they do fill up rather quickly so I recommend arriving early. Servers greet you as soon as you walk in, if there are tables open youre seated promptly & they bring out chips & salsa. The food always comes out fast, excellent customer service & obviously the food is just so damn good!! & for the fellas, yes they do have TVs up so you can watch your games while you eat. Love this place, I will be back next time im in LA.

First time in LA and we found this place on google maps. coming in the server was super welcoming and friendly! starting off, service was above and beyond, coming with complementary chips. the food portions were so generous we had a lot to pack to-go haha. the food was also 11/10. whats even better is that the six boxes, two bags, and to-go cup were all free?!?!?! they even went as far as refilling my lemonade THREE TIMES FOR FREE. absolutely exceeding our expectations, really made our week. highlight of our vacation. will definitely be back the next time we come to LA, 100%. thank you zacatecas!!!

First time here so I asked what was good burrito wise and I was told the Toms Burrito was really popular so I went with that. I thought the salsa was outstanding which I ate with chips while I waited for my burrito. When the burrito arrived it was nice and hot and very fresh. The Carna aSada inside it was very flavorful and came with a generous amount. I ate it until I was stopped to my gills while they came by to refill my Horchata twice! Aside from the food being outstanding the service was just as great. The price was also right and I thought wow I finally found a new favorite place in Los Angeles for quality Mexican food without being over priced. I look forward to coming here again soon and trying other items on the menu. 5 stars all the way, excellent place, food & service!

Holy cats...the place was so good! Walking in, it SMELLED like latin America. I know that sounds weird, but it was that authentic. As an anglo American authentic isnt always a selling point, but here the food was over-the-top delicious. My friend ordered the bacon-wrapped shrimp and I was immediately jealous. But my enchiladas were amazing as well. The service was exceptional.

Great homely place with friendly staff. I ordered a veggie burrito and it was pretty good. It came filled with a ton of veggies, rice, and beans and the sauce on top was not too overpowering which is nice. The burrito did need hot sauce for flavor though, but I the guac they put on top of the burrito was a good touch. Food prices were on the cheaper end for the quality of food they provide. Overall, a good casual spot that I wouldnt mind eating here again, but wouldnt recommend it as a must-visit restaurant to anyone.

I go here about once every week or two. And every time I sit down, the heavens open and Toms burrito descends surrounded by a radiant, ethereal light. Came across this amazing authentic Mexican restaurant and I have no regrets. It was so delicious! The service was amazing everyone is so nice and attentive. The pozole was 10/10 totally recommend! We also got Toms Burrito and the other reviews on this dish weren’t wrong it is really damn good! The camarones ala diabla were top tier 10/10 I’ve never had such an amazing plate like this in any other restaurant. My respects to this joint I totally taste the love they add in each plate. I have been to this hidden gem probably 4 or 5 times.All during the pandemic.The only complaint I have about this place is that I am unable to eat here every day!The waiters are so friendly and quite funny.I always enjoy my meals and never leave unsatisfied.If you dont understand what youre reading on the menu just ask the waiter he will explain what it is. Still one of my favorite dine in Mexican restaurants.Original Review - Friendly service, easy to split the bill (pay at cashier for individual dish), good food, comp chips and salsa (and its good!), large portions, and pretty cheap. They have tables that probably can seat up to 8, any larger than that, may have to sit separately. When it gets busy, food may take a while so try not to get full off the chips, unless thats what youre going for so you can take home leftovers, or just be super stuffed.

But either way, it was absolutely delicious and we were treated so well at Zacatecas Restaurant. I live for homemade chips and salsa and that is exactly what they start you out with. The free chips are fresh and started the experience off nicely.The service was fast and my order came out in no time. I was surprised. The rest of my experience was pretty mediocre from the first bite of my wet beans rice cheese & guacamole burrito. 1 burrito and 1 beer with complimentary chips was $16. -1 star because I didnt love it and -1 star because feedback hype brought left me shrugging my shoulders. The wet burrito wasn’t really hot enough and the sour cream had a tangy taste.I ordered a michelada because I heard they were good and it was alright as well. Keep in mind it’s a hot day and micheladas are meant to be enjoyed with a lot of ice. After five minutes the ice cubes melted and my drink was at room temperature. The rice and beans were ok as well.
